2	Asking a girl out for drinks. Picking up the tab for me is when you want to "treat" her, it's more of a special occasion type thing then "I am the man therefore I pay". If it's a date that didn't go too well or you aren't interested or not trying to "woo" her, I just say "split this one down the middle?" or "50/50?".
