Why don’t these people ever talk about the prevalence of false abuse allegations in the UK family courts? Ask any lawyer or barrister and they will tell you that the entire system is plagued by it. Fairly simple, reasonable contact cases drag on for years whilst the court are expected to investigate abuse allegations that they know there is no evidence for, the have to take positive action on allegation alone even where the police have said no further action should be taken. The family courts in…

So inform me how his rights have been impeded?

No, this is exactly how it works. And in this man’s case, no judge would have ever enforced that he continued paying child maintenance. In the same vein that women have responsibility, so do men? What are you suggesting? His majesties government just unilaterally act on his behalf? He had every freedom available to put an end to the payments a lot sooner than he did, he chose not to? Where are his rights being impeded here?

Because this sub sees “man + child maintenance + kids not his” and think there’s some evil cabal that made this main pay child maintenance when he could have paid a £100 court application and had the entire matter resolved in one court hearing. But apparently men are incapable of such administrative work.

No parental responsibility means you have a direct say in the child’s life I.e. schooling, religion etc. You also need to support the child financially. In this case the man could have went to court and had this resolved very promptly, he didn’t. It’s nobodies fault but his own.

This is not how the law works in the UK. You only have to pay CMS if you have are the child’s biological father or you have parental responsibility there are some extreme cases where you can lose parental responsibility but still have to pay but courts very rarely remove parental responsibility. In this instance marriage would not automatically granted him parental responsibility as the children were conceived before he was married. He knew the children were never his and he knew his ex partner …

To be honest, is this not on the man? He knew and admits he wasn’t their biological father, if he’d have went to court much sooner he wouldn’t have had to pay anything? The headline is very misleading, he didn’t find out he wasn’t their father, a court ruled he wasn’t in the legal sense. This is not a men’s rights issue at all. It’s surprising this is getting downvoted so much when it’s a complete fact, this sub is always talking about truth and how unfair things are, yet when a man can and has …

It does apply to men as well, many many many many men get pre sentencing reports. Should the reports exist? Absolutely not, but this isn’t a men’s rights issue at all. Anyone making it a men’s rights issue may aswell go and join the militant feminists.

This will be hilarious, because it wasn’t a Labour government that put forward these guidelines. When the conservatives were in power, pre sentencing reports were already doing this kind of thing, why did the conservatives not fix that when they were in power? It was the independent sentencing council, not the government. The justice minister has already spoke out about this and disagrees with the councils proposals. This is just the conservatives trying their absolute best to be relevant. It’s …

Let’s not forget the family courts in the UK which take a guilty until proven innocent approach to allegations of domestic abuse, which is just disgusting. Despite the courts recognising that false allegations of domestic abuse are almost par for the course in child arrangement cases, fathers are still told that they must have limited or no contact with their children until they are proven innocent and no punishment whatsoever is given to women who maliciously make these allegations.

Then you clearly do not understand UK law, this is a double standard in law, it’s nothing to do with the press. I hate the daily mail with every fibre of my being, but at least they explicitly call her a paedophile every chance they get.

Most single moms are of their own doing? Any evidence to back that up? Or are you making outlandish claims to support your narrative? You’re the one who claimed single mothers have illegitimate bastards? I doubt you have any facts to back this up either. You have no clue about the real world and blame your own failure in the dating pool on women. Your views are so debased from reality and so warped by what you’ve read online, it’s sad really. Have you ever spoken to a woman irl that’s not your f…

You have a dangerously warped view of reality and I’d honestly suggest seeing a therapist. You shouldn’t be a decent person to expect anything in return or for anything good to happen, it should be your default mode, because it’s just the right thing to do.

You clearly can’t read or you’re imagining what I’ve said. “The vast majority of women are decent people”. I never once claimed all women are angels.

Sounds like something a man that’s been very unsuccessful with women would say. If you go out into the real world you’ll find the vast majority of women are decent people.

With that line of simplistic thinking, men can also get better jobs, no?

You could also say your tax money goes on the fire service helping stupid people who set fire to their homes, what’s your point? You’ll be very pissed off to know your tax money is spent on a wide variety of other people who have made mistakes. I used to think this sub was for men’s rights, not for being vile towards women. Sad day.

I feel for those single women who have “illegitimate bastards” when their man has beat them and abused them, which does happen. Your view of the world is warped and bordering on incel territory. Ofcourse it’s not all men’s fault that’s ridiculous, but to paint all women in the way that you are is disgusting. Generally most men and women are in happy relationships and doing what they can to get through life.

What kind of dystopian, sadistic world do you want to live in? The government can decide what benefits you are entitled to depending on how many people you have slept with?? How would this even be enforceable without severely impeding on people’s freedom? What if I lied and said I’d only slept with 2 people, when in reality it was 100. How are the government going to know that? No thank you, that is the most ridiculous idea I’ve ever heard.

Men have been selected for a long time, long before the issues with women having unreasonable and unrealistic expectations of men. Men have always had to “woo” women. It’s the same for plenty of other animals in the natural world as well. As I’ve pointed out, I don’t disagree that there is an unrealistic or unreasonable expectations of men, especially in the past 10 years. But to suggest this is the same for all women is absurd. If women want a 6ft+ man who earns 100k+ that’s fine, they are enti…

I don’t really think that that’s inequality though. Women have a right to be selective about the physical attributes a man has, the same way a man does. I really don’t find large women attractive, do I have to now because of equality? Is the whole “you must earn 6 figures” unreasonable, absolutely. But I’d argue that’s social media and Instagram lifestyle culture that has young women in a trance.

They do, in Scotland you do not automatically have the right to trial by jury, compared to England and Wales. I learned this today in another thread 😃

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
