What the actual fuck even is this post lol Wow, some bullshit, edgy artist type gets insecure women to sleep with him, he is clearly a God worthy of all praise, give me a break. Though I find it funny that in the first frame of the video he is being interviewed at Baruch College's block in NYC, I'll try to spot him next time.

I agree, it's one of the hardest things to come to terms with when you really consider that ol' "life is meaningless, create your own meaning" high school philosophy shtick. As Dan Harmon once said "the knowledge that nothing matters, while accurate, gets you nowhere."

Good for you, you see shit people don't, and they see shit that you don't. Sorry to break it to you, but you're a human being just like everyone else. You're not some harbinger of horror because you know women like men that aren't self deprecating, low self-esteem assholes.

Oh my fucking god - my thought process in my last and first serious LTR. I literally remembering being one of the most popular guys in HS, partied a good amount, got good grades, got into a good college, and always made time for the boys. My first year and a half of college had moments of fucking following my ex in Sephora and Bed, Bath and fucking Beyond. Why do we do that crap for our women? Sure, we convinced ourselves "we didn't mind" but we all know we would've rather been drinking some bee…

Fuck, this is painful to read. I went from Alpha to Beta in my first serious LTR. with 5 months since the breakup for me, I've had a lot of introspection on what really happened. I gained weight and became a needy/clingy mess. I mean you can add semi-LDR to that equation, but point remains the same. Reverting to a weaker version of yourself is literally stagnation, it's suicide. I feel this guys pain because in all of our hearts we do truly just want to let go and give all of ourselves to a woma…

You two are lucky to be in each others lives and I wish you both the best. Glad to see there are women like you out there somewhere.

That's really fucking sad. I love the thrill of the chase, meeting a new girl and knowing she's into me with each sentence coming out of my mouth. I visited a buddy at uni the other night and hooked up a bit with this girl a few years older than me. Felt good because I've been applying RP to my life the last few weeks since discovering the sub. It's disappointing that while it's more of an organic process to meet women, a more guaranteed lay involves some form of social media. Bleh, I deleted FB…

Yeah I was about to write a comment along the lines of this one. Of course he won't understand TRP because he's never really had his heart broken. There's no real reason for him not to believe in Disney fairly tale endings. Even if he might logically know his motives and feelings to be irrational, most of us RP'ers are veterans of an incredible loss, ie first love, wives, etc. Let him fall in love, and eventually get his heart broken. He will become a needy/clingy mess at some point, go through …

Fuck yeah! Awesome way of putting it, I thought the same and now I'm making the world fit into my scope. Glad we're on the same trajectory.

We shouldn't cherish the pain, but pretending like things didn't happen or that past events didn't hurt you emotionally is lying to yourself. It's what makes up a part of you. When I was recovering after my break up with my first LTR, I had the mentality of "I'm just going to ignore this." Backfired pretty badly. After RP'ing, I acknowledge the pain from it and don't try to run away from it. The difference now is that I am working on myself and know that the past is the past. Opportunities alway…

Me in my last LTR. After months of anguish after the breakup, this post speaks volumes to me as I truly understand it's purpose now. As men, we have a RESPONSIBILITY to ourselves to make the most out of our lives. Our intuitions are strong and our rational minds bring the past, present and future into context for us to analyze/ponder. If anything, live in the moment but plant seeds for a better tomorrow as much as possible.

The way I saw it, not learning from my past WAS NOT an option. Dictating life by the past is such a horrible waste of time. Time goes going forward, for so long I wallowed about my situation but I was so tired of feeling this way. TRP awoke the dormant part of my that was asleep for the last year and I couldn't be more thankful. Yeah in a way it sucks to not be naive and in love and all that, but grabbing life by the reigns again and already seeing a difference in the way people perceive me and …

Absolutely brother. Taking charge of my life is the one empowering thing I have right now. After months of mental anguish and anxiety, being able to say that I'm taking control of things is empowering. Same with my ex btw, she said she feels like she's become more independent yet all I've heard from her when we still spoke and others is that she hooked up with more than a handful of people and is kind of dating someone, don't know if that still stands but I honestly don't give a shit lol. The fi…

Thanks for reading man. Yeah, same here, while my ex ruined me, I don't think of her as a bad person because when things where genuinely great, there was no questioning it. Becoming a needy/clingy mess definitely repels all positive things in your life and by going on the self improvement train I can't wait for the results. I want to look myself in the mirror in a year and be proud of my progress. I want to be on my way with my comp sci degree, fit as fuck, and more succesful at work. Sometimes …

Yes, but making reciprocating affection the one thing you do constantly literally chokes the life out of an LTR. I forgot about my ambitions and doing that kind of became my new toxic ambition, and it blew up in my face. Lesson learnt!

Couldn't have said it any better. If they're BP to the core, let them bask in it I suppose.

One of my friends for a majority of my life has no self esteem and takes it personally when I don't hang out with him for a week...literally sends me huge walls of texts about how I'm not this and I'm doing that. Meanwhile, I'm just trying to better myself at my job, digest some more red pill, work out, etc. He's pretty damn Blue Pill because he has some serious oneitis for his ex gf still to this day. I've always had this bitter tension towards him for the last couple of years and TRP is making…

I pretty much lost interest in my passions and my life became about pleasing her and always keeping our relationship afloat, it was draining the life out of me and I didn't even realize why until I started reading TRP. I didn't realize not having myself anymore drained that experience and I guess it went as long as it did because we both didn't want to admit shit wasn't working out. It was both of ours first LTR.

Duuuude, holy shit that was literally me and my ex girlfriend. I didn't even realize it before finding TRP, but I pretty much lived all of my life like a RP guy before I found my ex. I knew how much she was in love with me but I kept my focus on my work, my studies, and my friends. She was the icing on top but not my whole world. At some point, her being my first serious relationship, I also thought the "Here is this woman who is at my side doing all of these great things. I need to focus a bit …
