I would love to know myself, but no time to do serious study on it at moment. I quit lifting for a year, as I was doing lots of heavy work at my job plus serious ballet training. Im 45 and it was the worst thing ever, for my body. Upper body strength and back went totally to hell. Im still trying to catch up. Nothing is worth quitting weight training, in middle age!

You need cardio 3-4 times per week, weights 4-5. If you neglect cardio, your not keeping cardiovascular system healthy. Men with more ab fat, in middle age should esp do cardio in order to prevent heart/ type two diabetes. Its the complete package.

I think men handle it nuch better. I was homely when young ( look better as i age, go figure- its usually men ) so i never had vanity to lose. Of course, I raised by father so sensibility. most men Ive met , couldnt give a stuff!

Inclusion, in general tends to " dumb" things down. If you are that shell shocked, perhaps better to be in therapy, than public. But I do know how it feels, having PTSD from years of extreme abuse. Its difficult. But if this is more Ivory Tower middle class hysteria- what to do?

Spot on. As someone with ADHD I sympathize but also, agree more with youtube ' manwomanmyth ' ( videos.) Its very extreme, and as a survivor of lots of abuse, and tough despite it- I find it ridiculous in some ways. But if it is a version of perhaps female Aspergers, it does make sense,
