Romans 1:27 That passage says that men abandoned "natural relations" with women for "lust for one another". In other words, one of the things that was WRONG about men having sex with men was that it was lust-based. They aren't a married couple bonding. They can't make babies. So the only reason left over is pleasure. Why would it be ok to act in lust in one situation, and not in another? Sin is sin no matter what the circumstances. Look at the other 7 deadly sins: do each of them have a loophole…

Nothing wrong with that. As long as it happens while bonding with your wife.... and not interrupting God’s ability to give you a baby. :) Pleasure is a part of sex, not to be separated from the other parts. You can’t seek pleasure only, says all the rest of the Bible. Seek God first. Then seek your wife. All of her. And you’ll get her breasts thrown in. If you put anything other than God first, you’re creating an idol.

The Bible warns multiple times that seeking pleasure is sinful. Enjoying sex as purely pleasure is lust. Lust is a sin. Proverbs 21:19 "Whoever loves pleasure will be a poor man; he who loves wine and oil will not be rich."

Doing anything purely for pleasure will lead you down the wrong path. This is a core teaching of Christianity. Pleasure is never meant to be an end unto itself. Proverbs 21:19 "Whoever loves pleasure will be a poor man; he who loves wine and oil will not be rich." Ecclesiastes 2:1: "I said in my heart, “Come now, I will test you with pleasure; enjoy yourself.” But behold, this also was vanity. 1 Timothy 5:6: "But she who is self-indulgent is dead even while she lives." 1 Timothy 3-4: "Treacherou…

Sex is for making babies and bonding a husband and a wife together. Masturbation does neither of those things, and can in fact prevent those things from happening. It falls outside of the realm of chaste living. If you are a sugar addict, you are addicted to two things: sugar (physically), and the ritual of eating/drinking what tastes like sugar (emotionally/spiritually). Drinking and eating diet stuff only gets rid of the least damaging addiction. A diet soda drinker may not be addicted to suga…

You have four kids. You cannot leave. You need to protect them, be there for them, and give them a sense of stability. You need to put their needs first, unless you honestly feel like your life is in danger (and theirs won’t be, if you separate). Submitting to your husband is really hard. It’s not ok to physically beat your husband, ever, but you can expect resistance. The least resistance will occur the more the love of God shines through you. It’s ok to correct your wife when she is wrong; in …

1 Timothy 2:11-12: “A woman should learn in quietness and full submission. I do not permit a woman to teach or to assume authority over a man; she must be quiet.” 1 Corinthians 11:3: “But I want you to realize that the head of every man is Christ, and the head of the woman is man, and the head of Christ is God.” Ephesians 5:22-24: “Wives, submit to your own husbands, as to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife even as Christ is the head of the church, his body, and is himself its Sav…

What makes women feel better when they are emotional is when their man does not get emotional. You're overthinking this. You care way too much what your wife thinks and feels. She can feel that. The exact words you say matter a lot less than what you're feeling when you say them. You could have said the exact right thing, in literal terms, but it means nothing unless you can handle her. You can lift and you make money... but until you are grounded in truth (God) she won't respect you. Focus on y…

I imagine myself being selfless with my blessings and being able to give to people/businesses in need. This is ego. Imagining yourself as the benevolent giver. Drive and ambition to generate wealth, so you can be oh so generous, is still drive and ambition for worldly things. If you're really being totally honest with yourself, there's an almost 0% chance that you don't also want something like security, or self-worth, or social standing from that money as well. "For the love of money is the roo…

he likes it this way That's not a good thing, though. A man who likes it when his woman leads and makes decisions is seeing you like his mother. You don't want that. When a beta male is given the space to be a leader, but he asks you to do it anyways, and says he likes it that way, he is trying to weasel out of his responsibilities. Don't take the bait. Send it back to him. For more on this, see the book The Surrendered Wife.

Right. We're giving the wife advice here. If her husband has no frame, then she needs to know what she can do to encourage that. She can't force him to have frame.

God loves us. He gave us commandments to follow. He would never command us to do something that is bad for us. God cares about your eternity. He may sometimes ask you to do things that kill your body, but save your soul. Worldly outcomes are not the best indicator to look at to determine if you’re doing the right thing. After all... the world is fallen. So by definition, you will always be at war with evil while you are here, and especially if you consistently do the right thing. However, the Bi…

To be a blessing to your husband, you need to listen to him. Do what he says.

I'm having trouble waiting Yeah. Me too. So are all of us. For whatever it is that we think we need to be happy, healthy, and whole. If you could give it a voice, what is it saying? Some guesses: "I'm never going to find someone..." "I DESERVE to find someone NOW. I'm awesome. WTF?" "What am I doing wrong? I'm the worst." "Why is the world so messed up?" All of these are Satan messing with you. The world is fallen, good men and good women are rare. You have to work hard to find them. If it does …

He should be your rock. Not the other way around. If his father died and he needed a head massage to get through it, you would be a good partner. But his emotional immaturity means he is not yet ready for marriage. As a woman, you should not tell him what is wrong with him: tell him what you want. Only when you see his reaction can you decide if he is worth the wait. If he reacts like a man when you tell him you want to be with a man, then that’s a good sign. There is no perfect man, but you can…

If you tell your wife she can’t be friends with someone she cheated on you with, and she gets resentful, then that is her problem. It was an affair. She should cut off all contact with this woman immediately, for the sake of your marriage, but also for the sake of the other woman. Your wife used her. That was wrong. By continuing to see her, she continues to use her. And you’re allowing that to happen. Unless you always correct your wife when she is wrong (with love) she will never respect you. …

Using porn to jumpstart your sex drive is like doing cocaine to get through your workday. Short term gain, long term disaster. You want your erotic experiences to be exclusively between the two of you, because that is real intimacy. Brining in other people and other sources of excitement is not sustainable. Only true intimacy will flourish into a spectacular sex life. You are using porn to ignore the source of your low libido: weight gain and low self-esteem. You don't need to lose 40 lbs to get…
