I have worked with kids for over 20 years. I could stop this without touching easily. If I was forced to I would physically intervene. Yes, you are not "supposed" to touch. But like I said earlier, I would take a quick video of the situation and then stop it from happening while having another student film me. Also: Can she legally invite other kids to get involved? Because she does that in the video and encourages the brother to join in the fight.

Yes. Mat leave makes a hell of a dent on my wife's salary. The salary increase would be nice but she didn't really "earn it" in a work sense. But she definitely is working in another way. I don't know what the answer should be but I think women deserve some sort of compensation when they have lost salary increases and opportunities for advancement due to children. But I also think it is unfair to give them things instead of people who were at the job the whole time working for the company.

It goes further than that too at many schools. The males at the K-5 grade schools teach primarily the 4/5's. In a middle school 6-8 they tend to teach the 8's. It's just something I've noticed inuring my last 5/6 years. Not one male Kindergarten teacher working at over 60-80 different schools over 10 years (on-call).
