10	What Happens During Circumcision? Just because you went through it doesn't mean your son has to go through it. Just because many US boys go through it doesn't mean your son has to go through it. Just because your husband/boyfriend went through it and it is what you are used to seeing as a woman doesn't mean your son should go through it.
