Take a hiatus from all social media. Literally delete the apps from your phone. Become present in the things you are doing, and the background noise and thoughts of the girl will fade out.

I'd recommend to anyone to take a summer doing door to door sales/marketing for a pest control company or something similar. You will learn the fundamentals of selling, develop strong interpersonal skills, make a stack of cash, and likely experience a new city. I did it at 19 years old and it has been a huge asset on my resume ever since.

This. I have gone through the same contemplation after ending things with a year and a half LTR. The life long relationship seems like more of an unachievable fantasy each day.

Landing the statement close enough to how the girl actually sees herself is a priceless moment. I did this the other day after talking to a girl for about 20 minutes.
