3	TIL not all judges are misandrists I've tried twice and succeeded twice in recovering files from an SD card. That was with a card that hadn't been abused, and this is obviously only my anecdotal experience, but success is success. 20	TIL not all judges are misandrists File recovery software. There's dozens of free options out there with varying limitations and features. Some SD cards (and probably HDDs and SSDs) even come with 1-year licenses for full versions file recovery software. Generally file recovery software has a better chance of recovering desired files if the card hasn't had much data written to it since deletion/formatting.
