Yeah I dislike double standards but this guy’s take is piss poor. If you have better connections to a robot than every single human being of the opposite sex, then the problem is you.

In my very limited experience, girls who are too insecure to meet people IRL resort to online dating because of one of the following reasons: They have heavily editted/filtered photos and does not look like herself irl They are 100+ lbs heavier than previously advertised. They have social anxiety and/or lack of social skills. And usually it’s the latter not the former, but people like to self diagnose nowadays. I ordered this list based on frequency of my own limited sample size.

It’s not fixed all the way. If you make a new query and ask it to make a joke about men, it will still return a joke.

No, I would say the output reflects current political situation and how Western society is treating gender inequality pretty well. This is a feature, not a bug. Can’t shame the tool for mimicking us TOO well..

The study differentiates between controlled and uncontrolled wage gap. I did read the study, smart ass ;) The uncontrolled gap is not accounted for the several variables that is why the controlled wage gap is used… the wage gap itself is not debunked but the uncontrolled is unjustifiably overstated. Again, you being a black woman obvious present a lot of challenges for you. I understand that. Especially compared to a white man. The study essentially confirms systemic racism, which both men and w…

Alright, the 2022 controlled gender pay gap is $0.99 to $1. Which seems small but it is actually quite big when accrued over time. Here is a link: https://www.payscale.com/research-and-insights/gender-pay-gap/#:~:text=The%20controlled%20gender%20pay%20gap,job%20level%2C%20and%20hours%20worked. What’s actually debunked is the uncontrolled pay gap… that are popularly used in headlines to raise anger. So my apologies for getting that mixed up. Your black female/white male anecdotal analysis include…

I’m sorry but the gender income disparity has been debunked. Also in those same developing countries, which often are developing countries today thanks to war… when war break out who do you think gets conscripted to the battlefront? Who get to choose between fighting and safety?
/r/PurplePillDebate29/12/22 06:59 PM

Interesting. Currently only Sweden and Norway has mandatory conscription for women afaik. Regardless, this is an outlier and does not represent majority of the population. I still this it would make a better argument than lighter sentencing for women. Edit: seems like a handful of countries have allowed conscriptions of women, most of which women are making headlines but not the front line.

Sentencing is not a good example. You can argue that men statistically commit more crime. A very good example would be: if a war breakout in your country, who will get drafted?

Your reply was personal and emotional, thank you for sharing. I think we all have our biases when it comes to our world views and the environment we grew up in. I can totally see why someone whose parents didn’t have a happy marriage would be hesitant to get into one. I’m sure a lot of couples stay not because of love but more because of responsibilities towards the kids. From my experience, kids growing up from these families often wished their parents would divorce as well. It definitely convi…

I don’t know much about you, but if I had to guess, were you raised by a single parent? Our world views are vastly different. My parents have a very good marriage and while they now have totally become codependent on each other, they are inseparable. I think having role models in your life really helps. I see their relationship as an example ever since my childhood and I really do believe that marriage can work, especially when my parents made theirs work. Ofc it’s not perfect, but they did ever…

That’s not true, I refuse to fuck land whales. Men have standards too. There is a subset of men that would fuck anyone and they give us a bad name. We also cannot outright call other women fat so you don’t see it often. But best believe that we wouldn’t just fuck anyone

Idk, my current girl can take between 5-45 minutes. It is kinda tiring but I set up way too high of a bar for myself when we first had sex so now nothing less than that would satisfy her… sometimes I feel too lazy and just tell her to get off herself

No, absolutely no prolonged messaging before date. Texting is good for passing quick information but not quality communication. FaceTime makes sense, and tbh should be more common early on since both people are essentially meeting a stranger. But then again, personally I never met anyone who asked to FaceTime so what do I know. I definitely think it should be more common but I also know my babyface is as non-threatening as it gets

That’s just how the laws work unfortunately. It is difficult to make a serious accusation without concrete proof which is why things like this get away undetected all the time. It is also why I cannot really do anything about what happened besides therapy…

Yeah I feel the same as well. Women definitely do initiate. Perhaps more often than not they do with men above their “league” but men do the same, so it is fair game really

It’s not. I have been groped by women twice, one was even a friend. You refusing to acknowledge my very real experience is the reason why we still have this dumb conversation about genders

Finally someone speaking up my mind. I don’t understand why people treat dating like social justice. Dating is discriminative by nature… I am not entitled to anyone’s time and neither is anyone entitled to mine. Life is unfair, stop whining and get to work.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/07/22 09:23 PM
3

Yep I basically treat every girl I date nicely with a caveat of shit. Because they actually treat me better than me bending over backwards for them
/r/PurplePillDebate19/07/22 09:19 PM
1

But you can also say the reverse. There are misandrist standards applied on men as well when it comes to specific social contexts. Plus while it may seem like a man who has a long sexual history is celebrated, it isn’t always how it works in real life… I am sure lots of people dislike promiscuity regardless of the sex.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/07/22 02:22 PM
1

I’m not. And I think you would be lying to yourself if you think that men and women have the same set of standards and expectations. Gender roles that we have defined as a society did not just form in the last 40 years, they were formed since thousands of years ago out of necessity… No matter how much we try, us men cannot get pregnant.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/07/22 01:09 PM
2

Plus it is really the same case for women. It is harder to attain a quality partner who is willing to stick around than finding a one night stand.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/07/22 12:06 AM
7

Yeah, so then don’t just wonder why men have resentment over women. We simply operate based on a completely different framework and no framework is truly correct. We recognized that we don’t have equality. That is why men do dangerous jobs and get drafted. To me it is simple. Men and women are naturally different. And therefore the judgements that we get are different.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/07/22 12:05 AM
2

Yeah that’s what I would like to think too but that is somewhat unrealistic. Your identity isnt just your sexuality. But I also notice that the people complaining about being sexualized usually don’t have much else to offer. Because if you were truly a person of substance and have a lot to offer, you don’t have to go around and announcing to the world how great of a person you are, because it is already obvious.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/07/22 12:03 AM
2

Me too. What women on this sub need to understand is a man does not have the pressure to retain his virginity. The pressure is actually for him to lose it. Because for men, it is an achievement to find a sexual partner and usually it requires a bit of self development. For women, there are a lot more options and thus it is deemed easier for the average woman to find a sexual partner.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/07/22 11:56 PM
2

But I have also seen men experiencing the opposite end of the spectrum. One of my ex-flatmates rejected a guy because he was a virgin. Even though they pretty much were into each other for quite awhile.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/07/22 11:52 PM
5

But who said we have to apply standards equally? Men and women are different and thus I think it is normal to have different standards.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/07/22 11:49 PM
7

Of course it does matter. It doesn’t make sense to idolize something that is easily attainable.

Same, because there is absolutely nothing wrong with that

I understand your point. Donald Trump was a bad example. I am sure you can find at least one wealthy mysogynist that have a lot of women after him

Dating is discriminative by nature. I don’t have any advice in how to get a date, I don’t even think it is a level playing field and it is much easier for some than others. Life is unfair, get used to it. If I were you I would just focus on my own development regardless of the existence of a special someone, because life is already hard enough. If you are a man of values, eventually someone will see that and treat you accordingly
/r/PurplePillDebate08/07/22 06:18 PM
1

Thats true. I’m 5’6 and drunk men have tried to pick fights with me in public until my 6’7 friend came to de-escalate. However, this kind of discrimination is avoidable. And if you really think about it, when women talk about how they feel unsafe in public because of men, if you a man under a certain size you definitely are just as much of a target. It might be a little different but the risks are similar.

If you feel it is too one sided, it probably is. I understand that you have feelings for this girl but you must separate her signals from what you perceive them to be.
