"But she chose you." No, she didn't. The ones she picked first were untenable, or abusive, or do-nothing/go-now here, or rejected her. And you're supposed to respect her for her lack of discernment and be grateful for whatever scraps of adventure she has left for you when she's done with the shine and the flash. (By the way, I think you've really captured the desire men have here with the "adventure" thing versus a "purity" thing, OP. I think that's kind of a big revelation in this conversion.) …

As a bi guy, my best advice to guys who feel insecure about their own size is... bottom for several guys. Big dicks look awesome, but being on the receiving end of one ain't all that great, IMHO. Personally, I like longer and skinny-ish. Girth does damage.

Look no further than the FACT that the ACLU used to defend the right of Nazis and the KKK to march. Because freedom of speech was important. Was. It's disgraceful.

You want to really bake your noodle, take everything you just said and apply it to "sexual preference." For most of history, socially, "discernment" was required to supercede innate attraction. Nowadays, we'd argue that innate attraction is the "truth" and what passed for "discernment" in the past was, in fact, "bigotry." Soooooooooo... how's that work with "the ick?"

Honestly, could you have missed the point any harder? I never said I didn't want my partner to feel safe. See, that was an example of something women value in a relationship, and which men tend to treat as valid and legitimate. By contrast, the need for sex, something men value, is not treated as legitimate by women, and men are shamed for wanting it.

It demonstrates that the priorities men and women have for relationships are different. For too long, women have benefited from the protective, patriarchal and chivalrous notion that men should be interested in some sort of Disneyfied, chaste "love." Women have been allowed to define what a "relationship" is supposed to look like. It's bullshit and it's always been limiting on what men are allowed by society to expect in terms of sexually willing and enthusiastic partners. Dismantle the patriarc…

And, if things were equal, that would be a legitimate concern. As is, men are shamed for admitting it's an emotional need, and even if they do admit it, women won't believe them anyway, so they persist in feeling justified in denial and blame a man for leaving because of it. That, my dear, is sexist bullshit. Imagine men laughing off a woman's need to be seen or be heard or to feel "safe" (whatever the nebulous fuck that's supposed to mean). It'd be a bloodbath.

Agreed. Men need to be a lot more proactive. I'm talking, the second or third "all you think about is sex" conversion, just walk. That one's just going to lead to "I'm just not attracted to him anymore" which leads to her filling for divorce. Guys, save yourself the years of feeling (and being) unwanted. You're NOT gonna be able to fix it. Her standards are unachievable and constantly moving. She WON'T suddenly want you again. Don't be a glutton for punishment. Leave early.

Let's also point out that men will put up with and sleep with an overweight, mood swinging woman with acne but can the same be said if the genders are reversed? You only need contraceptives if you can have sex in the first place. In this case, the "solution" makes itself irrelevant.

It's actually kind of gross/terrifying what unbridled male horniness looks like without the civilizing force of women's ambivalence calling it to heel a little bit. But, it's EASY!

To do any of this, they'd have to respect men's desire for sex as a legitimate thing. They tend not to do that. That desire is automatically converted to "force women to have sex." They're all very sex positive and kink friendly until a man expresses a desire for sex or frustration at not being able to find it. Then they're instantly more puritanical than a quaker.

Oh, they can be fun. No doubt. But even with the most willing woman in the world, it's just so much work getting there. Comparatively speaking. Their "arousal curve" is alien and slow and strange, they're generally more inhibited and reserved, can sometimes be less than active participants. You're the one who brought up NSA encounters here. You're currently giving your opinion from the perspective of a seller in a seller's market. I'm just saying there is a massive untapped market out there that…

As a bi guy, I have no problem with any of this. Just waiting for the rest of my bros to let themselves loose. Once again, the Greeks had it right. Women are for babies, guys are for fun.

We're this an actual study, sure. And I'm sure that data would be fairly easy to compile. Even if the women berating men online don't genuinely fear men irl, casual anecdotal observation tells you that they've probably gone on record as having "chosen the bear" at some point. It's such a facile argument for women to use. Automatic, unassailable victim status. Challenging their perceived fear makes you the aggressor and the monster. Easy points. Too easy to pass up.

There's one consistent factor there. Don't tar and feather us all because you have consistently horrible "luck" at picking baby daddies.

Well that is certainly a bold and definitive statement bolstered by no supports whatsoever. Neat.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/03/25 05:00 PM

Easy there, tiger. I didn't say a single, solitary thing about that, did I? And I don't think it's so much about "high libido" at that point as it is about "novelty." Your husband bores you and sex feels like a chore. Who's to say that some different guy won't reignite that fire, though? Similarly, who's to say that some other woman might not be titillated by qualities of your husband that you've grown desensitized to? Regardless, you feel like sex with him is a chore and that's tragic because N…

Look at the animal kingdom. In pretty much (as far as I know) every mammalian and bird species there's a certain pattern. Males spend most of their lives trying to impress females. Whether that's by being big and strong, holding a large territory, doing a dance, building a nest, whatever. The test is, do a thing, impress a lady. How do you know that you've succeeded? Sex. Not holding hands, not spending quality time together, not words of affirmation, not picking out paint swatches or going to t…

Soooooooo, your answer is, there aren't really any societal benefits to men to "not oppress women." And, as OP posits, your argument rests on "it's the right thing to do." You're selling a vacuum and we have hard wood floors and a dust mop. There is no discernable improvement to our lives in buying your product. By the way, your condescension is just wonderful. Whaaaaaaaat the fuck are you even talking about? All you're doing is proving his point that the only arrow in the argument's quiver is "if you don't do it you're a bad person." This may shock you, but lot and lots and lots of people are pretty okay being "bad" to other people if it benefits them. Crabs in a barrel, baby. He's saying, "give people a self-interested reason to be in favor of it." If you can't do that, maybe there's something wrong with the product you're selling. Maybe it isn't the…

I find these terms acceptable. As long as no "whores" (male or female) start crying about not being able to find a partner to settle down with (because they choose their role when they were young) I think we have a deal.

/r/PurplePillDebate24/03/25 10:29 PM

Exactly. You're welcome. Someone who actually is an "alpha" doesn't give a shit about anyone else's "social status," (or their opinions of his) and they certainly would never actually use the term "alpha" with regard to themselves. Because they don't care. If you call yourself an "alpha," you're not. Simple as that. It's like, I don't keep track of how tall anyone else is. They're (almost) all shorter than I am. I literally look down on everyone. That's all I see. I'm not "tall." I'm me. I'm the…

Stoicism and self-reliance are only "bad" in the case that you find yourself doing/being them when you don't want to. Beyond that, letting anyone else determine what is right, wrong, or, God forbid, "toxic" for you is a chicken shit move.

All true. But, there's also the bandwagon effect. I'm sure lots of men have experienced not being able to find a girlfriend and not being able to find a girlfriend, then, you find a girlfriend and suddenly all kinds of women are magically interested in you.

This is why I think male bisexuality should be more widely embraced. Soooo many women just don't give a shit about sex. They refuse to take it seriously as a legitimate desire of men. Men wanting sex is seen as a pathetic and gross thing. They simply don't think about, view, value, or feel the significance of it the same way men do. Alright. Fine. You know who does? Other guys. I'm just saying, it works in prison and boarding schools where women are unavailable. How is modern society really that…

And you're directly saying the source of that insecurity is the size (small) of their dick. Which, by is very nature validates that it would be something to be ashamed of, and ignored the fact that you most likely have no idea how big his dick is or isn't, or how he feels about it.

Not gonna lie, as a bi guy, I can tell you that being the object of a man's unrestrained passion and being "ravished," it's pretty fucking great. If it's an option for you, I'd highly recommend it. There's an energy there that has no analog coming from a woman (in my experience).
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/25 03:09 PM

In that case, how is it that older men dating younger women is such a cliché? Are those women being forced into those situations somehow? As long as we're being blatantly stereotypical, women are ONLY interested in success. Older men tend to be more established, or successful than younger men, ergo, women are only interested in older men. That's pretty much how simplistic your reasoning is throughout the post itself and every subsequent consent you've made.

I'd go out on a limb and say men are chasing casual sex, but, if unsuccessful and therefore forced, will resort to a bartered settlement of sex in exchange for commitment.

Look, the trendy thing to do is to harness the power of "toxic masculinity" and use it to shame and cajole men into behaving in ways that women want them to. For example: men are turned off, romantically, by the traditionally "masculine" attributes of a "successful" woman. Women want ALL men to be attracted to ALL women (but never to act upon that attraction unless such action is desired), because feminism. So, how do you address this lack of attraction? Shame. "Oh, you're just intimidated. Cowa…
