I'm heavily introverted and fairly insecure and people see me as absurdly confident and extraverted. I have no idea why that is. Maybe I just fake it very well. It doesnt really change my internal feeling.

I find it funny that people say picking on yourself is a lack of confidence. I do it because I don't care what people think because I know i'm awesome.

Dude you screwed up bad and i'm sure you think its the worst ever, everyone makes dumb mistakes. Ive been at this for a while and I had an interaction with a girl who was interested in me so bad I cringed for an hour. The point is while you did fuck up, we've all fucked up. Fucking up is part of learning. Its not like you spent a month calling her or writing her 10 page long emails, i'm sure plenty of guys do that shit. You didn't cry. I'm sure 50% of people you meet on the street have worse sto…

For the first half of the story it was her fault and you handled the situation in the way most people would, wouldn't rock the boat stayed cool, even you leaving was fine. But from the moment you texted her you were annoyed obviously it was all over. I'm a bit shocked in how far you let it go on though and that you kept trying. No more talking to her dude, its done.

"I bet you look so much cuter when you're crying" is my usual line.

All chicks at that age care about is who is cool and looks. They don't give a shit about confidence or alpha male. If you have friends they're keen.

I agree. However unfortunately most guys don't follow this rule. All my ex's get constantly hit on by numerous guys trying to steal them. Unfortuantely this is a no win for everyone, you get to view their actions and see them as questionable. So if they don't leave you, but go along with it in the slightest, you lose regardless. So yeah I respect guys like you, I'd never do it. Hell sometimes I act in a flirting with with girls with a boyfriends and have no intention of hitting on them but feel …

I know plenty of girls more attractive than her.

I had a great best friend who was a female, we were mutually friendzoned. Than she started getting feelings for me, now I no longer feel comfortable telling her about a range of things as I can tell it offends her. So yes, to me she is just a friend, but no, I guess between us there is no mutual 'just friends'

I think that although these lists are very useful, the 'assume attraction' thing is quite accurate. You don't need lists, if she laughs and smiles at you and seems interested in talking to you chances are she is interested. If she avoids you and ignores you and seems bored chances are she isn't. People display their feelings on their face and it really is that obvious.

Fraudulent and easy to lose. If you build value within yourself its impossible to take that away, if your value comes from a women it can all be gone overnight.

So your solution to friend zone is just to be assertive and push for more practically ignoring the situation..... genius.

Friendzone the girl and watch their attraction rise haha. Every girl I have ever been friends with at a certain point in time will send out feelers, you know just to let themselves know that they are in control of this situation and they can have you if they really wanted you. If you don't respond to these feelers then chances are they will become attracted. What can you do? If you ignore them she will feel rejected and either go harder or get very angry at you. If you talk to her the same outco…

Just be yourself is quite possibly the worst advice of all time, often told by people who have no idea! I do agree with this post, what it means is be a more awesome, confident version of yourself.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
