Gotta spin that shit. Sure a guy w a car is cool, but of you are confident and a man and you're both gonna jump on a random bus to downtown and go to this cool bar you heard of where this cool band is playing etc... Be fucking interesting. Have an adventure. And be capable of dismissing those that are lame. That is the crux of the abundance mentality.

Playing it cool after you reeled her in on the dance floor AND amher friend threw her at you?? Dude. You took a DHV and a wingwoman and turned them against yourself by acting beta. Assume shes into you and move in! Kino, escalate, isolate, close. You sounded too tryhard at the end too. Gotta keep opening and keep options. Sounds like you quit after flagging your first target.

According to Wikipedia, you are correct. the recipe is allowed to be used nationwide, but for traditional purposes 97% of bourbon sold in America is distilled/aged in or around Bardstown, KY. Companies like Jack Daniels produce straight bourbon whiskeys but instead prefer to advertise as Tennessee whiskeys as a way of differentiating themselves from the bourbon competitors. I believe one of the regulations regarding a whiskey being designated a bourbon is that it is made in Kentucky. Jack Daniels is made in Tennessee, which is why they advertise as a whiskey, not a bourbon. Source - a bourbon-drinking Kentuckian.

Yeah, that part was totally self-centered, what with the comments of "your life will be over for 25 years, your bank accounts will drain, you will be emotionally spent, blah blah..." So glad to know my dad didn't get this letter as a kid. I am one of ten kids in my family and its awesome.

Yes, the father/writer sounds like an insufferable douche.

One that I've loved to use in the past was that I was a Design Engineer for a men's diaper company. I've never not gotten laughs and IOIs with that one.

Felt this way for 25 years OP. The way I handle it is to just DGAF and go about my life. I am busy doing my thing and later, when I am more settled and comfortable I will have plenty to offer.

Solid advice. My usual routine is to do some scouting at the bar and walk around with the premise that 'I'm going to the bathroom.' Case in point from last night: was walking to the bathroom, saw a table of three really cute girls sitting alone listening to the house band. One of them gave me a huge smile as I walked by. I'm in. I walked back, finished my beer and said goodbye to my friends that were leaving, and walked right back over. All I said, as I sat down next to HB Smile was "Hey, I saw …

Work on that head game dude. Get in state before you go out. Another approach is to go out with other plans in mind. Sometimes I just like to have an awesome bro night with my bros slamming shots and dancing like idiots. Opening sets will become more natural as you become more open, accepting, confident, and fun.

Ya I kinda second this notion. For me, that would have earned at least a comment on that, maybe something like "Well I'm still deliberating, I don't know if you've passed yet or not." Of course you say it with a giant shit-eating grin, but then she knows you aren't every other AMOG going after the hottie. You were having a great night before she entered it.

Agree, thats not always correct. My cousin pulled a boss move and got his current gf off of another guy. He lives four states away from her and she is head over heels for him. Total alpha.

I love the shit, shower, shave routine. Me and all my buds practice it as well, but we throw a fourth S in there called Steam as in steamroom. We call it a Quadruple S. Awesome way to get ready for the night. Great FR bro! I'm also of the giver/abundance mentality so I totally understood your vibe.

Exactly. OP's idea of not caring stems from his Abundance Mentality. Very Powerful. I've only recently realized this myself. I've gone from being a guy that chases one girl at a time to a guy that consistently chats with several at a time. It's pretty incredible and I specifically love how much more laidback and fun I am since I don't really care unless I meet someone I want to pursue. Ladies will come and go, its the ones you choose to be with that hang around.

Wow! Every date I've ever had violated some of these rules. I'd take a girl to a nice dinner, or I'd call her up and tell her I'm going to see a new flick, but the money and the lack of conversation and kino are now blatantly apparent. Good thing I am now a huge coffee fanatic, so that'll end up being my new date of choice. Thanks, OP!
