They’d be the CEO. In fact, with the advantages and red carpet treatment they get, the executive ranks everywhere should be overflowing with women. The fact that that isnt the case says everything.

No shortage of simp men who enable such behavior. They deserve plenty of blame too.

That would not even be the wackiest thing he’s said. That guy is a straight up extremist. Total religious fundy. Embarassing to the others that they platform him.

If they’re above average to their reference group theyll always be fine. Women’s value is mostly in their sexual market value, not necessarily their relationship market value to procreate.

Yeah and I don’t know what you’re on about…you’re kidding yourself if you think a beautiful woman who is 40 still doesn’t have men falling over themselves to woo her for the long term. Beautiful woman will always wield significant social capital and power.
/r/MensRights30/01/24 02:05 AM

Depends on the woman. Plenty still get away with a lot at 40 too.
/r/MensRights29/01/24 10:35 PM
2

Depends on your sample. Rural living…yes, women generally hit the wall hard. I live in a major city where there’s no shortage of women in their 30s and 40s that look great and take great care of themselves.
/r/MensRights29/01/24 09:41 PM

Still wishful thinking for a large part. Many women don’t hit some wall at 38 where they’re suddenly undesirable and unattractive. If the women is beautiful and stays thin, then she’ll still be hot at 38-40. Maybe her reference group changes, eg., the men who are interested are a little older but chances are that she’ll be interested in men that are older too anyway. Plus, any women will have men of all ages who are interested.
/r/MensRights29/01/24 05:10 PM
2

Very weak arguments. You link to one woman who has aged poorly? Come on… We can only reliably compare against the peer group. A 9 or 10 at any age, is going to be better off than her peer group on average. Surely, you know that the 6-7 isn’t going to be better off. Many 9-10s (if they are truly 9-10s as it is self defining afterall) may still even going to be hotter in absolute terms than a 6-7 younger counterpart depending on the size of the age gap. In addition, very few men are going to be ab…

Agree with the fact that most would love a 6-7 and settle. However, your other logic doesn’t really hold. A 9 or 10 is always going to be fairly hot. And the older they are, maybe they’ll be less hot than before, but definitionally they are still hotter on average than most all of their peer group. Unless you can present some evidence that especially hot women, 9s and 10s breakdown quicker than their 6-7 peers, which is obviously not true. Last, there’s no basis to suggesting that 8+ make poor p…

Dont get married
/r/MensRights14/09/23 04:00 AM

Why’s that? I have the prenup and followed protocol. She had an attorney too.
/r/MensRights08/06/23 03:20 PM
1

Yep I know. I think alimony is mostly BS too. I agreed to 2 years only in the event of kids. Some alimony I believe makes the prenup more ironclad because it shows that we negotiated.
/r/MensRights07/06/23 07:08 PM
1

Not the entire prenup but she was acting rigid about how much alimony. Once an attorney got her ear. Mostly because if we move to somewhere rural her income would shrink whereas mine would grow.
/r/MensRights07/06/23 04:11 AM

Agree. But women want it or they wont stick around.

Eh I don’t think that’s the case but i do think she has some issues we need to work through. It’s always more nuanced than can be conveyed.

Yeah itll work, she’s going to have a good job and we followed the right prenup steps.

It has alimony limited to 2 years. If anything, that makes the contract even sturdier because it’s not saying she gets nothing.

It’s my money and I can do what I want with it. My family would only be her. I think it’s reasonable for half to go to a cause I care about. Her getting a 350k-400k payout between 25-30 is pretty fucking generous.
/r/MensRights06/06/23 02:46 PM
1

I mean all women want marriage. If I could keep her as a gf I would. I wanted the prenup and we both had attorneys and it was negotiated. She could challenge it sure, but she’d have a hard time getting it thrown out I believe. At the least it’d be a bargaining chip.
/r/MensRights06/06/23 02:44 PM

I mean i agree she could fight me but she had an attorney and it went through attorney negotiations.
/r/MensRights06/06/23 02:32 PM

Pretty good on all those fronts but yeah no guarantees that she won’t try.
/r/MensRights06/06/23 02:27 PM

Im mid 30s. Im a pretty good looking guy. But yes I realize my job and earning potential is part of my total package.
/r/MensRights06/06/23 02:22 PM

You didnt read clearly. I said half would go to charity only before kids. If I ended up incapacitated that would be different. Im currently not.
/r/MensRights06/06/23 02:19 PM

They generally get upheld is my understanding from talking with several attorneys in town.
/r/MensRights06/06/23 02:18 PM

They are mostly upheld is my understanding from talking to attorneys.
/r/MensRights06/06/23 02:04 PM

I think a modest amount like 2 years is fine. It’s only if we have kids and would help her for a set and brief amount of time if she takes any time out of the workforce.
/r/MensRights06/06/23 02:02 PM

I heard they’re mostly upheld is what I understand. Talked to a lot of attorneys.
/r/MensRights06/06/23 02:00 PM
1

All true
/r/MensRights06/06/23 01:59 PM
1

She’s pretty hot and usually mostly reasonable. Her mental health has been very wonky lately though, she has a lot on her plate, and seems to be melting down, so Im trying to give her the benefit of the doubt.
/r/MensRights06/06/23 01:57 PM
1

Exactly. However, Im not adding any such contingency. As men we’re expected to work no matter what or tough shit. As a hot woman she’ll always be made in the shade.
/r/MensRights06/06/23 01:56 PM
1

I was essentially referring to all of my premarital assets. We don’t have marital assets and the prenup outlined that we are to remain financially separate unless we expressly title it joint. Her reaction is ridiculous. She’s having a meltdown.
/r/MensRights06/06/23 01:54 PM
0

I don’t think she’s working an angle. I think she is genuinely worried about different contingencies in the event of kids. But I do think she’s being a bit illogical.
/r/MensRights06/06/23 01:51 PM
1

They seem to mostly get upheld is my understanding from talking to attorneys here. At the least it’s a valuable bargaining chip even if I give her only slightly more.
/r/MensRights06/06/23 01:49 PM
1

Signed the prenup already. It caps alimony at 2 years if kids. A small amount of alimony in the event of kids is okay with me to help her transition. Should she take any time away from the workforce.
/r/MensRights06/06/23 01:48 PM
1

Yeah that is laughable as hell. You gotta be kidding. You would have been fleeced had it been longer.
/r/MensRights06/06/23 01:46 PM

Im mid 30s and she’s mid 20s. She could be better managing money for sure. She’s going to be making good money within two years. I told her we’d have some assets together one day.
/r/MensRights06/06/23 01:43 PM
1

Eh prenups are usually upheld is what I understand. But when it comes down to it it’s a bargaining chip. I’d be fine giving her slightly more in the event of a divorce as of now it keeps everything separate and only has up to two years of alimony in the event of kids max.
/r/MensRights06/06/23 01:40 PM
2

They get upheld most of the time. I talked to a lot of attorneys. The prenup is already signed and delivered. It keeps up financially separate and says alimony is only in the case of kids and it’s limited for two years.
/r/MensRights06/06/23 01:30 PM

She already signed the prenup so i think Im covered. I talked to a lot of attorneys here in Illinois and they said they’re upheld most of the time.

I mean she’s mid 20s, hot, intelligent, and would certainly remarry in the unlikely event of my death and would have her whole life ahead of her. She’d be pretty well set up with half. Which would Be around 350k or more in the short term. She’s got plenty of earning power herself. After kids, I’d probably set up a trust. I don’t actively give a lot to charity but im passionate about rescuing dogs, so would want half my money to go to that.
/r/MensRights06/06/23 01:10 PM
2

She’s got nothing to speak of in terms of assets at the moment.
/r/MensRights06/06/23 07:14 AM
4

Like I said If she was going to be a homemaker or sahm it’d be a different discussion. She’s not in a career where her earnings would suffer. She’ll be making good money. Also, if we did have a special needs kid we’d talk but that’s not as things are and you cannot include every contingency in there. Not to mention that child support would be greater for the custodial parent in such a circumstance.
/r/MensRights06/06/23 07:13 AM
-1

I don’t think she’s looking at the exit but my thing is that alimony laws are so damn archaic I don’t want to be forking over bundles. If im making 400k and she’s making 100k, Id have to pay her big on top of child support. She’ll be just fine on her 100k, these are pretty nice 1st world probs to have. Her thing is like well you’d be much better off to provide for any kids so they’d want to spend time at your house. She also mentions oh what if we move rural where she’s making far less. Im like …
/r/MensRights06/06/23 07:06 AM

If she was going to be a homemaker or sahm it’d be a different discussion. Im not fabulously rich, but considering that she’s mid 20s, young, hot, and would undoubtedly remarry I think she’ll be just fine with half. Oh yeah and in the improbable event that either of us dies within 5 yrs, if it’s her I don’t get shit because she has nothing.
/r/MensRights06/06/23 06:59 AM

IL
/r/MensRights06/06/23 06:48 AM

Yeah exactly. She’s young hot and would certainly remarry if I were to die within 5 yrs before kids. Me giving her half is more than reasonable.
/r/MensRights06/06/23 06:38 AM
-3

Eh I believe that it’s more nuanced. Im a doctor and if I took a job in rural nowhere and she followed me Id be making $$$ and she’d be making $ and in said case if we had kids she’d be stuck. Currently were in a city and can both make gold money. I limited it to two years which is fine and said Id renegotiate if we moved rural.
/r/MensRights06/06/23 06:35 AM
-1

Yea I limited it to two years tops which is doable considering. She’s like ‘it’s about taking care of each other, what if I become disabled…’ im like well I love you n all but I got to protect myself. If you become disabled we’ll renegotiate but that’s not the circumstance now and we cannot have every friggin contingency in there.
/r/MensRights06/06/23 06:32 AM

That toxic attorney is out of the picture but a brief convo was enough to do some damage. I mean she signed the prenup and it’s done but she’s just bitching over it a bit still. And Im sure this recent death / will talk I brought up is related to her grievance over feeling the prenup is not fair smh (which it’s plenty fair- it limits alimony to 2 years and she’ll have a six figure job herself and is hot/savvy enough to find some chump to make it rain for her elsewhere in the event of divorce). Y…
/r/MensRights06/06/23 06:28 AM

No, to be clear I didnt do whatever she wants. However I did compromise some, which I think was reasonable given that I wanted her to sign and give me something I wanted. If it was up to her there would have been no prenup and Id even gift her half of my premarital assets (which would be crazy).
/r/MensRights06/06/23 06:23 AM
41

Yep. Goes both ways. She spoke to some very inflammatory female attorney when she was shopping for an attorney to represent her during the prenup and that crazy bitch put all sorts of dumb shit in her ear. My fiance is like ‘it’s about taking care of eachother,’ i say ok, we’ll take care of eachother while together but I don’t want to be supporting you long after in the event of divorce…she’s like what if I get in an accident and can’t work. Im just like we cannot plan for everything we’d recons…

I told her she could have the house. I have about a 600k nw at present and she’s young and would certainly remarry. Regarding the alimony she keeps coming up with all sorts of unlikely events and what ifs…eg., we get divorced with a special needs kid or we get divorced and the kids want to spend all their time at my house because it’s nicer. Smh.

I personally think it’s okay to reward yourself from time to time with things like a pizza or cheetos or whatever. If you’re going on benders though then you might be riding yourself too hard which causes these breakdowns and splurging.

Being able to have sex with a lot of beautiful women is a side effect of doing well in life. Not the end goal in of itself. However, I find it to be a pretty compelling side effect that doesnt get old. There’s really only two fundamental purposes to all life: preserve your own life and reproduce. That’s a feature of all living things. Now Im not necessarily interested in breeding, but I do enjoy having fun practicing.

It’s definitely a part of blue pill but they want it both ways. You’re supposed to ignore the conflicting information.

Feminist nonsense is a huge factor. Also, alimony not only takes a large portion of your income, but can be until death in some states! Freaking ridiculous. Implicit proof that women are like having another child/dependent.

Let’s be honest, women also have no ducking clue how to articulate what they want. They’re emotional creatures.

They promote blue pill but are happy with the status quo of women being overwhelmingly the favored party in divorce proceedings. It’s all about rent seeking really. You see the same nonsense with diversity and inclusion rhetoric that white women are the primary beneficiaries of…everyone wants something for nothing and to hsve their cake and eat it too. They’ll protest against anything that remotely appears where (white) men are the benefactors of a double standard and then are silent/complicit o…

There’s also lots of nonsense that red pill stuff is misogynistic and manipulative. It can be if it’s real fringe, but mostly that’s blue pill believers trying to get everyone to fall in line and ignore/be oblivious to the true nature of women.

Not sure what you’re referring to. Abuse has no part in a relationship. At least one that’s going to last and be healthy.

Why would you be annoyed with boundaries? Boundaries are healthy. Also, why are you initiating sex repreatedly when it isnt being reciprocated? You sound like a horny school boy with no self control. Let her come to you next if she rebuffs your advance. You’re putting too much pressure on her.

Dont dismiss, when she has a valid concern you should hear her out and reflect on it. Don’t necessarily say sorry, but if it’s a legitimate concern (ie., leaving your underwear on the floor or whatever) then it might require a change in behavior. Dont make your wife into your mommy.

Agree. But he said he’s been emotionally and verbally abusive in the past and that’s a big no. Certainly doesnt sound like a ‘nice guy’ in the relationship but sounds abusive. You need to work on being more authentic with your wife rather than forcing these things (your approach sounds very mechanical. Seek more therapy. This community is about understanding unspoken rules and engaging in self improvement. However, there are certain things that are just non starters. Just as I wouldnt tolerate some stranger diminishing me, I certainly wouldnt tolerate it from my wife. This is a basic rule of engagement for me. It’s one thing if your marriage is swirling the toilet bowl and she’s lost passion, but it’s pretty much beyond repair if she’s actively communicating disrespect on a constant basis.

Nothing wrong with pulling out all the stops right away. Change is hard so sometimes it’s good to jump right into it. I think the offer of wine was actually her being remorseful about her behavior. Sometimes you gotta read between the lines as she sounds like a prideful woman. In any event, i think you may want to consider seeking out that therapist sooner than later. Try to be authentic and reflective. Your approach comes across too game playing. Why not have the bottle of wine with her on Saturday? I see that as an olive branch she was offering and I understand her being pissed after you turned it down given her childish behavior. Dont speak to a woman sternly, that won’t help anything. Find a therapist, this will help you work on yourself as well.
