I can definitely hear your point from paying child support, I am Canadian though and fathers here (at least in my province) aren't actually expected to support the child, the government does that through something called baby bonus. It's actually an issue here, as some families will have lots of kids just to reap the rewards/all the benefits they get from having kids. Having you explain, I can understand how you feel in these topics in those situations. I am actually a child born to a single mother, though she was raped as a teenager and her mother pressured her to keep me despite wanting an abortion.
