My ex would accuse me of being crazy or insecure when I’d get upset over comments he made comparing me to female celebrities or making sexual comments about them. But it’s tough knowing that you are being held to this impossible standard when these people don’t even look like that themselves in real life. Pretty much every photo you see of a celebrity has been retouched. Not to mention they have access to the best possible skin care treatments, personal trainers, plastic surgeons and injectors, …

Pretty much. During our break, he talked to his ex and she told him that he was emotionally abusive and traumatized her to the point that she had to go to therapy after their break up. I think this also had to do with why he wanted to get back together. He realized that his behavior was awful and felt bad, so he wanted a chance to do things right. But he went back to his old ways pretty quickly. Made me realize that men don’t really change, even when confronted with reality.

I agree. However, even though I let my emotions show, I still feel shitty and it still consumes me. I’ve realized that the “last conversation” you always think you need to have, you don’t actually need to have. There’s always going to be things left unsaid. The only thing I can do is let it go. He doesn’t d…

Really wish I had known this sooner. I’m only 25 so I’m still figuring things out but I learned this lesson the hard way with my ex. Broke up with me over the phone during the beginning of the pandemic after two years of dating. Two months later, started talking to me again and wanted to get back together. I quickly took him back. After two more years of allowing him to disrespect and emotionally abuse me, he broke up with me again. This time, when I had covid. Unfortunately, I still begged him …

Agreed. I seriously hate that OF is a thing and was disappointed when it didn’t end up getting shut down. The women who find it “empowering” also find male attention empowering and validating. But the thing is, male attention is abundant and most of these scrotes would put their dick in anything with a pulse. And that’s not to say it’s women’s fault. They are a product of the society we live in, which teaches young girls that they need to degrade themselves for men in order to be validated. The …
