Sex is relevant in a general sense, as men are typically more aggressive, strong, heavy, sturdy, and have better leverage due to physiological differences,and they also usually have more experience in physical aggression as well as being more naturally competitive, giving them a seven-fold advantage in most cases, due to mostly testosterone and sociological factors, and that's why we typically judge things as such. On a case by case basis, all those factors matter regardless of gender.

Thanks for explaining that women are not actually interested in having relationships with men. That's not what I said at all. My point was that men are typically chasers and women are typically the chased. I'm not saying women are weak victims, so I don't know where you got that. Is this due to the relative lack of strength? Would the same be said if a man weaker than yourself were to hit you? Would he be treated like a woman in this sense? or is it due to the existence of a vagina? How sensitive do you have to be to chase someone down in a car because they did something with their hand? It reminds me of this one video I saw a while back; some dude flipped off this group of cops and they followed him and pulled him over. They gave him a citation for an "improper hand signal". I don't know if it's counts as harassment or stalking, but chasing someone down for that is definitely crazy and over-sensitive.

If you want to claim the high ground you have to defend it. No one is claiming the woman was in the right. Also, it should be up to the aggressor how we react. If the aggressor is done attacking, furthering the violence is unnecessary. Ideally for me, we would be above petty revenge.
