Wish I'd read this post, and knew about MGTOW in general, fifteen years ago. It would have saved me so much trouble in life.

Even though it "hurt like hell" when he found out, I like how Johnny Carson reacted with humor soon after he found out about his first wife's affair (mentioned above): “Why Frank Gifford?” he asked. “What’s that a–hole got that I don’t have?” I wasn’t sure where he was going with this but maybe nowhere good. The mood appeared to be swinging back. “That guy plays three positions on the field,” he said. “I could never get Joanne to go for more than two.” His deadpan timing was perfect. I nearly fe…

Beautiful pickup in its direct simplicity. Congrats! Just a quick opinion on your opening: I would just say "I gotta ask you a question" instead of asking for permission to ask her a question, and would be more specific when telling her how beautiful she is. Relevant Sasha Daygame video

Here is the original thread on r/TheRedPill for anyone who is wondering, or wants a reminder. I remember it well: Well some other guy just took my [18 M] g/f (now ex I guess) [17 f] virginity." Bonus: Other guy has already moved on to banging a new chick in less than a week. Glad to see how well you're doing now man. As Napoleon Hill said: "Every adversity, every failure, every heartache carries with it the seed of an equal or greater benefit." I am full of respect and admiration for what you ar…

Way to go, this has inspired me to start working out again myself after a very busy summer. How much time did you dedicate to lifting? An hour every few days focusing on a few different muscle groups, or maybe a half-hour workout every day?

So you think this has gone way beyond a shit test. I admit, it's a scary situation to be in, but shouldn't I try and use red pill advice to help turn things around like the guys at r/marriedredpill after all the time and energy I've invested in the relationship? She has done nothing like this before in the relationship, so it is hard for me to believe that she is doing this now, even after the many hours I've spent reading red pill posts recently.
/r/askTRP27/08/15 08:46 PM

Why do you think it's not a shit test? If she wanted to cheat I don't think she would tell me about him. We broke up for a month and only got back together less than two weeks ago; maybe she wants to make sure I'm serious about getting back together with her, or if I will run at the first sign of competition? I know I could be absolutely wrong, and still so plugged in that I want to believe, but it's a risk I'm taking right now as we were so happy together in the past. I appreciate you taking th…

I am not a troll, just want a red pill perspective. I am trying to save my relationship like the guys on r/marriedredpill instead of throwing in the towel. While I appreciate all the replies here, and they have made me think, I am just not convinced that nexting her immediately is the best thing to do. All women will shit test me, and right now I'm thinking the best thing to do is to ignore this guy and focus on my relationship with her, showing that I am not afraid of this guy, and not being ov…

Are you saying all hope is lost for my girlfriend and I? I know we're not married, but I admire the guys over at r/marriedredpill for saving their relationships and hope that be being non-reactive I can pass what may be a huge shit test to see if I'm really serious about us getting back together.

Thanks for taking the time to reply. Well, I was very busy with college work during July so didn't go on any dates. I met one girl on a bus one day who said she was attracted to me after we were getting along so well and I asked her out of curiosity. I used to love doing daygame before I met my girlfriend, but really I regretted breaking up with her so much that I wasn't interested in other girls this summer. She said she only made out with one guy while doing online dating and ten once she got …

She went on six dates with four guys and made out with one of them on his bed once, said she did not want to have sex, just some male attention and to feel desired after I broke up with her.

You make good points, but part of me still thinks that her meeting this guy is one big shit test to see if I am serious about her, or if I will run away at the first hint of competition. She could be using what r/theredpill calls "dread game" to make sure I stay with her. I couldn't go to the party as I live sixty miles away from her and don't get to her city much. After all the trust she's built up over the past year and a half I just cannot imagine that she is making out with him, but then I k…

Thanks for the replies. Can you explain to a novice like me (or whoever is in a similar situation) why this is the red pill thing to do? I thought that the sexual market place was a constant battle, and that I need to be non-reactive to show that I do not feel threatened by this new guy, because that would make me appear weak. Perhaps I'm in denial though, really wanting to believe that men and women can just be friends.

I broke up with her but apologized and said I wanted to get back together, which we have (not sleeping together again though yet). She has realized the double-standard, but what upsets me is that she still spent so much time with him (and could again soon) and even though she says if I say the word she will tell him (in person) why she can't see him again, but it upsets me that she hasn't done this of her own accord already.

Not a troll, just wanted some advice as it is so complicated to me right now as I am in the middle of it. I am trying so hard to do the right thing. Should I dump her? Be nonreactive towards the situation so that I don't lose respect? Tell her not to see him again? Trust how faithful she has been over the past eighteen months? etc
/r/askTRP26/08/15 07:58 PM
-1

I'm not saying you're wrong, I'm saying what you are saying is very convincing, but that I am not convinced enough to break up with her just yet. And you could be absolutely right; I could find out she has been cheating in the near future, but I built up so much trust in her over the past eighteen months that I don't want to throw it all away over a guy who could just be a shit test to see if I'll stick around, or someone she is genuinely trying to help. I really do want to believe this, as much…

Man, this hit me really hard, especially after reading so much on r/TheRedPill recently. As you know she says she needs male attention because we are in a patriarchal society, I don't know what to say to her about this. She admits its irrational, but gets angry when I suggest she needs to stop because "that's just the way I am" etc etc and it's not her fault. What can I say to her about this? I don't want to walk away just yet. I said what I thought would be the worst case scenario, then she sai…

I don't even particularly want to have a female friend (I'm perfectly fine knowing her and female family members), but the big problem for me is that I am not allowed to help my friends meet girls at bars, which I always found rewarding in the past. She says her situation is different because if I introduce myself to a girl at a bar then that girl will automatically think that I am hitting on her, whereas she and her new friend are platonic.
/r/askTRP26/08/15 07:29 PM
-1

I really don't know what to do. I guess, at the moment I don't want to rush into anything as I'm hoping he goes away once he starts making friends at his new college, and that the red pill thing to do is to brush him off and not take him seriously as that would mean she thinks that I think he's a threat.

I appreciate you taking the time to reply here. She has always told me that cheating is wrong and cowardly so I want to believe her when she says that there is no way she can be attracted to this guy. Do you have any good RP links that show how men and women can't be friends, or how what my girlfriend is doing is suspicious in general? This is the closest I have found so far: https://redd.it/2onv80 To be honest I don't know what I will do. I don't want to tell her not to see him again in case sh…

She said she was so hurt after the breakup that the best way to get over me was to date other guys (she dated four guys and made out with one). I used to do daygame and dated other girls while we were broken up last summer to help me get over her, so I can understand why she did this.
/r/askTRP26/08/15 07:09 PM
-2

I need more convincing that men and women really can't be friends. Reading the replies here and threads like this one is helping to convince me though: https://redd.it/2onv80 I thought the RP thing to do would be being nonreactive and not caring that she has guy friends, because that means I am not too attached?
/r/askTRP26/08/15 07:06 PM

I've acted altruistically like this is in the past with girls, so I strongly want to believe that she is doing this to be kind as well. Surely there are women out there who would do this just to help someone out? Maybe she just wants the attention. She says he is not her type, and that she could never be attracted to him. Maybe I'm just in denial...

Of course it seems suspect, but before this I trusted her completely. She has been very kind and moral in the time I've known her, so I want to give her the benefit of the doubt this time. I want to believe that she is just trying to help this guy out, and that they can just be friends, but of course I haven't stopped having doubts since she told me about him last week...

Last night on the phone I concluded that she and I are different people; if something really upsets her then I want to respect that, but I don't mind guys hitting on her occasionally, because I trust her and there will always be that risk with guys. She doesn't want girls hitting on me at all because she says it will hurt her too much. I want her feelings to be valid in the relationship, and I don't want to believe she is manipulating me, but maybe I'm being a fool. She said before this that she…

I am quite new to this so can you explain why this is such a bad thing? In my mind, I rationalize "She doesn't want other women hitting on me so she must be very attracted to me".

She keeps telling me that she won't have any more guy friends after he makes his own friends in our country, and that I am the only guy she wants to be friends with, but I have trouble believing it. What if he becomes my rival over the next few months? Is it okay for LTRs to have close guy friends? I really want to believe her, and I know it all sounds suspicious, but I'm hoping that she is just being a good person to someone in what is to him a strange new country. She has been so trustworthy i…

Thanks for the reply. I assure you it's not a troll post though. I used to post on Seddit a lot until I got a girlfriend and thought I had "won the game". Learning about the Red Pill as much as I can these days. The thing is, she has done very little to make me doubt her since we met, so I want to give her the benefit of the doubt. Just because she enjoys the male attention doesn't she will cheat, does it? (Or am I just really in denial as I want the relationship to work so much?) I mean, do RP …

I look her in the eyes, and I say to her "I'm going to do something a little crazy". I lean in to her just slightly, and she closes the gap. We kiss. Very smoothe, I'm going to remember this. Shortly afterwards, I stare her down with a look that says that I want her right there. I bite my lip. "What?" She giggles. "I want you" I reply. "Eloise, you have a choice to make. How to Meet Girls on Train Platforms When Todd from RSD lived in New York he would often pickup girls on the subway. He would get into a train carriage, and if there weren't any cute girls in that carriage he would go into another carriage at the next stop. He talks about it in this video (briefly): No Girl is Safe! I'm not sure at what point he mentions it, but the whole video is worth watching anyway; it's one of his best. So true; years after discovering Seddit I am still internalizing this core concept of pickup. I am beginning to not only not feel bad about rejection, but to feel good about it: it's her loss, it's feedback not rejection, I'll be that much more driven to approach again etc etc. Great post alex, and I am a big fan of your posts SicilianDude; you've written some of my favourite pieces of advice here on Seddit, such as: Next time you're out, remember this. Thanks for the reply. I just looked through my pickup Word document where I keep quotes from the world of pickup. I found this one by puaAthens from here on Seddit: Most of the time, you do not get responses to your messages—say 90% of the time. And each message takes a few minutes to write, say 6 minutes if you do the recommended targeted message. 100 messages needs 600 minutes or 10 hours. I talked to a cute redhead in my class today with the no fuck/no pressure mentality and it felt... odd, unfortunately in a bad way, like my brain wasn't working at 100% to have a good conversation. How long did it take you to get a hang of it? How do you feel it helped? Maybe it makes you seem more confident, and as every Sedditor knows confidence is everything. But, I don't want to seem apathetic when I'm talking to the girl, you know?

I agree that cold approaches are better, but every guy here can at least put an hour or less into creating a decent profile and then wait until a woman messages them. Then just don't screw up. I set up a POF account and didn't message anyone and got a date out of it after a girl messaged me.

Czesc, look for all the infield/instruction videos you can on YouTube. I saw a really good one last week but can't find it for you but there are lots more out there. Good luck! I'm 21 and really wish I knew about Seddit and daygame when I was 19. But remember, other college students; better late than never.

"For of all sad words of tongue or pen, The saddest are these: 'It might have been!' " ~ John Greenleaf Whittier. I decided today to give away €1 every time I don't apporach a hot girl that I could reasonaly have approached. Only approached one yesterday, a girl from Chicago. I got rejected after a fifteen minute conversation but it was still infinitely better than being a coward. Nice post FreeFacials, thread saved.

Thanks for the reply, do you have any suggestions? There's a philosophy to his method which is explained in videos like this one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IyOaJRTnKc0 And this one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A2y45z5tDFo

Thanks, I know it's not the most exciting FR in the history of Seddit but there is always something to learn from an FR and I can use my FRs as a reference point in the future, like a Seddit jounral haha :D

Thanks for the encouraging words. I used that line after I read that one of the fastest ways to wake yourself up is to start a conversation with a stranger.

Thought of an improved version of the response I used in the first post: Girls: Sorry, but we were kinda having a girls' night out. Me: So were we, that's why we wanted to introduce ourselves. That's gold, Jerry! Or they might find it a little confusing...

I've wanted to ask girls to dance before at nightclubs but it's just so fucking loud it's impossible. Or almost impossible? I've joked about getting a nice little card printed up saying ''Do you want to dance?'' and showing it to a girl if there's any confusion haha. Girls would either think ''What a loser'' or ''Haha, he's so funny''. It's a thin line though with this it seems haha. Dance floors are so crowded though so where do I lead her? To another busy area of the dance floor (I know I soun…

Its like how you don't ask a girl if she wants to dance, you just grab her hand and start dancing. I had no idea about this, I've never asked a girl to dance since I found Seddit (sad, I know, have just been infinitely more comfortable talking). Could I grad her hand at a loud nightclub if I've never spoken to her before and lead her to the dance floor or would that be creepy?

Thanks for the extra insight, glad I posed this question in a thread. I will remember the girlfriend line and will remember to use it at least once. I could turn what I've learned here into a field report. Actually, quick deviation from the thread; when I approach girls with the ''can I join you line?'' the two other negative responses I get are ''Isn't that kind of odd?'' and ''No thanks, we're good''. The first one I've gotten arounf (''Just being social'' and then teasing) but the second one …

Thanks for this, but I can find it hard to come up with anything indirect and go from there; We see two beautiful girls just normally talking at a table and can't come up with anything that good to say other than the standard ''Do you mind if we join you?'' Will have to work on this.

Makes sense, from now on I might say ''Hey, I'm okayawesome91 and this is my friend, you look like you're having fun so we thought we'd come over and introduce ourselves''. Or is that just a little bit too much? Maybe just say Looks like you're having fun or an observation?

The advice to work on your opener so they don't use that line is definitely better, by the way. You're right. Will remember this. You have to decide very quickly who is in charge in their group Do I just focus my attention on her then for the few seconds? Might that leave the other girls feeling alienated so that are less likely to want to talk to me and my friend?

Not sure why you're got -5 karma for this, thanks for taking the time to reaply anyway :D That's the same thing my last girlfriend told me when I first met her This establishes intent straight away and then I can bring it back to normal conversation to make a connection, Justin Wayne style. I suppose you're all models, too! I can't even talk to you any more. (Then roll off) Why do I say this exactly? :D Oh, shit, are you Lesbians? Excuse me! Might offend them but could work? I could wait to see …

"So are we! Let me buy everyone a drink to celebrate a night with just us ladies and no weird dudes interrupting us to try and buy us drinks." I like it :D You just made the line I used way better, just hope buying them drinks doesn't seem too needy haha.

What one of us usually say is ''Hi, do you mind if my friend and I join you?'' and then wait for a response. Not sure if this is a bit too simple (thoughts? I usually save the observational stuff for when I'm on my own), but we say it with confidence, smiling etc. It usually works but we got the ''on a girl's night out'' line twice the last night we went out so that's when I decided to ask Seddit as 100,000 heads are better than two. Not sure if I prefer the ''just 5 minutes'' idea or the ignori…

How do you mainly meet women now? Is a bar still the best place or do you lean more to day game/internet now? Is there a lot more rejection because more women have settled down at your age or maybe it's better as women are maybe more sexually liberated as they get older?
