Yeah, I can't tell you how negatively being abused or even in a abusive relationship altered and challenged my mental and emotional health. Run from abuse and don't look back. Be quick about it to as it can get worse over time. There are reasons why people are single, divorced and maybe living alone for long periods of time. Look for people who have their heads on their shoulders, solid work ethic and are going places and even still than, don't get all tied up in it.

If you think about the past, those were modern times too...modern is relative to the time that your in. LoL. And the short answer is no, it's not worth it.

Better AI than the real deal! They say practice makes perfect. Nothing is going to sting like the pain caused by a true broken heart! That's when you know you are winning! Guard yourself at all times and never bet more than you can afford to lose! Also, know the stakes before placing your bet.

Are there any resources at school for bullying or for these kinds of circumstances? You are going to learn to defend yourself, especially if you could be physically harmed. And if that is the case, than you can definitely go to your parents and your school and to your homies who got your back. As far as the gossiping goes, I'm not sure how much anyone can do about it unless it becomes abusive or disruptive.

The moral of this story...don't get married, don't have children. Divorce rates start at 50%. Most men will loose custody of their children and become just a visitor in your child's life. Most custodial parents never escape the cycle of poverty like the state wants you to believe. The pitfalls are too numerous to mention. Been there, done that. I hope this helps those who contemplate having a family under current laws and regulations, etc.

It sounds like the father was the best person to provide for their child, therfore he should have won custody of their child. The system completely ignores the man's finicial ability to best provide for the child as in the best interest of the child. Why?

Men don't even have the ultimate decision to be a father or not! Once the sperm has been acquired, the sperm is completely out of the hands of the donor! Shouldn't women be held to the highest of responsibilities since a baby can only naturally be conceived in a woman's womb! I don't understand these guys!

You, we really must remain emotionalionless, less it be used against us. There is a need for the same resources and support mechanisms for men, fathers. Education for our youth is where the biggest impacts can be made.

Being a father is one thing, picking a bad person to be the mother of your child is where you fell short. She is addicted and depending upon the substances, it could be very difficult for her to get and stay clean especially with a child. Since she is pregnant and might be using and is going to term with the baby, this might be a case or situation for Child Protective Services. CPS will do everything they can to save her and your child and everything they can to fuck you over, IMO. The best thin…

Find a cause, something you believe in and want to fight for or change. I'm already through it, done, finished and paid off in full. It's not impossible, it can be done. For me, I made huge sacrifices including my physical health and mental health. Feels good to be relatively free. Sometimes churches, if you are a member, can offer counseling but it tends to be religious based. Personally, I didn't have any luck with counseling as I never felt a connection to the counselor. Individual counseling might be best in this situation as it may give each of you a chance to work on those Individual issues before trying to work on those together issues. Your best bet in a divorce scenario I'd to try to win custody. Learn from men who have won custody and what their relationship with…

If the paternity test shows you are not the father, than fight any court order of support. If you are the father and are ordered to pay support, than fight for visitation with your child. Sometimes a man needs someone to take care of them, particularly when the deck of cards is stacked against you! That's one place we fall short. Ideally, a man should never need some care for them because the deck of cards should never be stacked against you like that! Never fail.

It's to the point where this is a crisis for men. There literally is a war being waged against men that has been legalized behind domestic abuse. And women know this and encourage one another to utilize these laws to destroy men, fathers.

For some non-black people, Clarence Thomas is the ultimate "black" person to have on the bench. But realistically he and several other judges need to be impeached and removed from the court.

What is this implying...
/r/MensRights18/12/21 05:52 AM

Because they have stacked marriage/family laws against men. The took away what men are best at and cut it in half. Instead of making each person responsible for themselves, they put it all on one person and that one person loses their standard of living to be given to the other person. It's sickening.

Men are automatically at a disadvantage because we can't carry or birth a baby... The law doesn't, IMO, compensate for that. Another problem is that the law does make it a battle, ie winner/loser to begin with, instead of enforcing co-parenting at almost all cost. The law hides behind best interest of the child, when the best interest of the child is always biological parents equally raising their children. Take away the monetary award for winning custody and see how much the current best intere…

I hope it doesn't come to that! It does get easier to deal with although the damage will be a lifetime. We can help him by supporting changes in laws around the world. Never give up hope, never give up on being a father to your children even if it is for when they become of age. Everyday, I try to reach out to my adult children with mixed results. It's a struggle internally but at least they know that I tried when I could.

It's not the test you should fear. It's the "law" that will get you. Practice safe sex and mitigate your family planning until you are ready to be a father.
/r/MensRights13/07/21 04:16 AM

That is where we need to change these archaic, outdated laws. No one knows better than me.
/r/MensRights09/05/21 02:54 AM

Thanks for your response and links. I don't blame either sex, per se because being happy in what you are doing is important. I think it is very fascinating and interesting that those numbers are what they are. I think for men it should serve as a reminder that we probably won't live up to the expectations a woman would have for us as their husband and that marriage should be heavily more scrutinized by men before going down that dead end road. Men are better off not marrying, statistically.

Like I said, I would have taken my chances, even if that meant jail time, a conviction, wherever the fuck you wanna say, I would have defended by myself, just like I did while I was married to my abusive ex. BTW, I spent one night in jail due to a restraining order not being removed off a computer system out of about 20 times the cops being at my front door for DV. Cops never took me to jail. As a victim of DV, I understand what you are saying about violence but I still reserve the right in every instance to defend myself, irregardless. That is just me. I will condone violence anytime someone is being attacked, man, woman, dog, child I don't give a fuck. I think we need, unfortunately, programs and systems in place to deal with these types of issues including men's rights. There is no black or white in men's rights. Affirmative action was the response to generations upon generations of hatred towards blacks, to say the least. I hardly doubt that affirmative action will ever make up for the damage and pain caused, not to mention the economic damages and other types of damages inflicted upon blacks through the history of this country. Black people were treated worse than animals and far worse than any other group of people to ever step foot on this "great nation". Black people never asked to be enslaved, disc…
