I recently moved to a new city and am trying to find a stable social life. For me the goal has always been to find a girlfriend to love and be with, but I'm starting to try to value close friends more. But it's a struggle finding a social life to be content with when you are (kind of) lonely and a young man.

I like this perspective. But man it’s so hard and been for so long. I don’t want to hate the world, I want to love it and also be realistic about it, but it’s an everyday battle to withstand everything. I guess I should just hang in there

I feel for you man. I hope it gets better soon. Please remember that there are loads of guys with similar experience like you and that we all (should) give our love to each other because it’s a very hard culture towards us out there. We need to get back to our roots and nurture “the boys”.

I dated a girl recently (I broke up with her) and I always felt bad because I worried I didn’t love her enough and I didn’t want to hurt her. Funny thing is: she dated multiple guys (maybe 50) last year and slept around, and even when we had a 2 week break she managed to sleep with a guy until we got back together. For the record, I slept with her and 1 more girl last year. To believe I felt bad for her, hahah. Honestly todays society is fucked up towards men.
