To be honest, it seems that even if people did show you examples, you probably wouldn't believe them, anyways. Equating men to assholes by default is proof of that.

Is it really hard to accept that some women will weaponize a man's sexuality against him out of bad faith or to intentionally shame him?

This won't be as effective once public school funding in the U.S. is decoupled entirely from local property taxes. That is a huge factor. Other sources of funding are needed, especially at a federal level, to reduce inequalities alongside other structural reforms.

12 sub-8 men can meet the reverence stream of one man. OnlyFans in a nutshell, eh?

Yes, absolutely – that's kind of my point. People who don't interpret whatever advice is given to them 'the right way' shouldn't by default be blamed if they're not able to actualize things to their betterment. Because maybe what they perceive as 'the right way' isn't, in fact, right for them at all. And rather than, to use the metaphor, giving up on the horse that doesn't want to drink water, it's much more worthwhile to try and redirect towards another means or way to do so rather than the ste…

Yet just because that's your perception of things doesn't mean it's the reality for everybody who succeeds or doesn't.

It tells us that we shouldn't be telling people to do what's 'right' but that they should do exactly what the pros do, as you've described it. You're not going to know everything, and there are things they will do that are not going to be perfect. That they don't need to be perfect. That it's okay to mess up. That is why a lot of men see any self-improvement advice that they've seen a million times over as mere gaslighting, whether it's true or not. It makes their mess-ups and mistakes even more…

I don't think that's a fair assessment of all the people who post there. Sure, for some, but not for all. Is it really so difficult to acknowledge that these men struggle for reasons outside of their control? And to not just question or assess themselves but also the expectations and pressures beyond them? It's not as black-or-white as you make it sound. Ironically enough, I think the red pill is really the only thing telling these men exactly what you're saying – albeit for perhaps the wrong re…

If you're going simply off of what people share online, then there are certainly plenty of examples on the dating subreddits for men who have done much of what's conventionally defined as 'right'. And they still struggle. And I think if you have enough people in that boat, then clearly the previous definition of 'right' needs to be questioned. I think it's not enough to reduce the whole world of dating and romance to a step-by-step manual of 'do this and you'll receive this outcome'. That's too …

Two things: 1) The just world fallacy is a cognitive bias. 2) Using language like 'something's wrong with you if you're not getting results' only creates more insecurity in men who aren't romantically successful – especially when, as others have pointed out, it comes from a very different gendered perspective.

I would read it another way, to get a bit semantic with it – it's a bit absurd to insinuate that there's something wrong with someone through an internet comment. No one here can or should draw conclusions about you based on what strings of text you're throwing around. This is the problem with any sort of relationship or dating advice that's given in places like Reddit. None of us can really know if there's anything wrong with you. It's just a lot easier to blow off steam and vent about things t…

It's great to know that I'm not the only one from such a background.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
