Think you forgot the second half of that reply Umm . . . please answer my question. So you don't know if I am right or wrong? A simple yes or no will do.

Good gracious ‘Flattering light’ , explain further Sorry, I don't take your orders. If you have a specific question to ask in good faith, I will consider it. Sir , I can promise that from these comments that you most certainly don’t know how women behave. Ma'am, I can promise from these comments that you most certainly don't know how women behave.

and there’s no correlation as you don’t know whether is would’ve actually worked with her friends around or not Nonsense, I've had lots of experiences, both positive and negative and I know how women behave. Most importantly, my knowledge of women isn't colored by a desire to see women in the most flattering possible light, which is how women see themselves.

But you don’t know what she would’ve done?? That’s what I’m saying, it’s completely useless information unless you can see paradoxical futures or something No idea what your point is here. It's amazing how little self-awareness women have when it comes to sex and relationships.

Or ask one then Lol, no idea what your point is here. Asking women about their preferences is a guaranteed way to get virtue-signalling and self-flattering nonsense. that story was completely unrelated What women do != what women say

ask them Lol, I would never try to ascertain women's true preferences in men by asking them. Because you can always depend on women to give whatever they think is the socially appropriate, self-flattering answer. What matters is what women actually do. In fact, just today I went in the office for work and ran down to the stationary store to pick up some supplies. There was a long line and I struck up a conversation with a girl who told me she's an art student at a local college. I made some lame…

As one, no we don’t obsess over old men. Not matter how rich really Unfortunately women are not accurate reporters of their own sexual/romantic desires. They are far more interested in saying what they perceive to be socially appropriate. If you went by what women said on Reddit, you would think that it's pretty much impossible for a man over 40 to attract young women. And it is indeed impossible -- if he attempts it in a venue where the woman perceives she is being watched and judged by people …

I once had an FWB like this. She was a South Asian woman who was engaged to a family-approved guy. It wasn't exactly an arranged marriage but it was pretty much done with a lot of parental guidance. One thing that was interesting was with me she enthusiastically fucked and sucked almost every day; but she told me the most she did with him before the wedding was hold hands. Which I guess is to be expected since she wanted him to think she was pure and chaste and all. But even after the wedding, s…

Holy fuck I've been stupid Probably yeah. Let's do this: Please give me two examples of the "boy movies" you are referring to. All the memes of guys "never growing up" Yeah, it's unfortunate that our gynocentric society needs to project female shortcomings onto men just so that women can feel better about themselves. Anyway, please give me two examples of these "boy movies" you refer to.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/09/21 02:15 PM

I wonder if women are really all that different. When I was in college back in the 80s, there was a guy who got raped. What happened was, he had a huge crush on this girl who didn't like him back. As a prank, she told him she wanted to take his virginity, invited him to her dorm room and got him to agree to let her tie him up and blindfold him. Then they had a gay guy give him a blowjob. Apparently he really freaked out when they pulled the blindfold off and there was a dude there. And then for …

also, those arent really unicorns ( ppl who dont cheat ) around 50% of people dont. According to self-reporting. Besides, a lot of people don't cheat because they don't have the option. How do people behave when they have a lot of options? Just look at Hollywood.

It's amazing how many unicorns there are on reddit who insist that they have never cheated and would never cheat. Anyway, as an unrepentant cheater I would have to agree. I've had 2 wives over the years and cheated on both of them. I've also cheated on numerous girlfriends. Perhaps the worst indiscretion was while my second wife was in labor I struck up a conversation with a cute woman at a drink cart in the lobby of the maternity hospital and we ended up doing it in a supply closet. Anyway, to …

I remember growing up watching countless sitcoms and the couple would get into a fight and the girl would kick the guy out of the bed and he would have to sleep on the couch. Me and my Gf don’t live together(at least not yet) but I’m trying to envision a scenario where someone is kicking me out of the bed of the home I pay a mortgage on. Like oh hell nah This is one of those gynocentric television tropes, kind of like how in commercials which depict a married couple, the woman is always smart an…

the women in "boy movies" are dumb and weak and ready for the hero to save them. You are pretty much proving my point here. Movies which are aimed at teenage boys do have a tendency to fall into this pattern. The key word being "boys." because YOU cannot face that they are adults that use their brain and CHOOSE not to fuck you Lol, the go-to position of every feminist who's lost an argument: "You're sexually unattractive!!"

Comparing women to children just sounds bad I agree. But it doesn't change the reality that women are children. It's like comparing men to the men in porn- how many times has a guy had hot sex with a random pizza girl who insisted on sucking his dick right then and there? Actually I've had things like that happen a few times in my life. Once I was in a movie theater in a foreign country and I noticed that my arm was touching the arm of a young woman sitting next to me. I kind of moved my arm and…

That's funny, most women I know have faked at least 70% of the orgasms they've had from another man... I think guys think they know what they're doing because we fake orgasms all the time- not to bruise your ego. Normally I would ignore a non-sequitor like this, but I think it provides an interesting insight into the female mind. If a woman fakes an orgasm, it puts her in a superior position to the man she is with: She knows something important he does not; he has been successfully fooled. What …

The way I think about it is like asking people what foods are good to eat. They might talk about healthy nutritious choices because that's what is expected of them and makes them look good. Yeah, if a supermarket chain wanted to know what foods to carry for maximum profit, it would be a huge mistake to simply ask consumers to list the foods they would like and what foods they would not like. No consumer is going to say "And put potato chips at the end of each and every aisle!" But at least with …

The thing is, you have to think about what type of woman is out here giving this advice and whether or not you’d want to attract someone like that. It's actually worse than that because most women don't understand their own sexuality very well. By analogy, imagine a child saying that if you get them a puppy, they will walk it every day and feed it and groom it and take care of everything. The child might actually believe it, but as the responsible adult in the room, you know that's not going to …

Anyway, it's a false equivalence. It's like the situation of a cute short girl who prefers tall men. She's not a hypocrite because height has a much bigger impact on male attractiveness than on female attractiveness. I myself have a very large n-count but I would never marry a woman with a past. (Obviously she doesn't need to be a virgin.) On 3 occasions, I've had sex with women without exchanging a single word, but I would never marry a girl who'd done such a thing with a man.

I married young a couple times, got divorced once, and am still married in a foreign country although my lawyers tell me that due to some legal loophole it doesn't count here in the United States. I'm planning marriage number 3. I would say that in general society would be better off if everyone paired off young, but men's polygyny instinct is pretty strong. I've cheated on all my wives, although not during the honeymoon so that's something.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/08/21 08:17 PM

Given the same individual income, women a have higher household income. Given the same amount of effort into their careers, the woman will have a higher household income than the man. That's not fair. On the other hand, men are smarter, less prone to hysterics, and generally more rational. Which is a big advantage in terms of making money and holding on to it. Put another way, women do pay a privilege tax every time they pay extra for a pink shaving razor "because I'm worth it."

I go, yeah. In terms of meeting women, the positives are that it's pretty low key. You just wait for a girl to sit down next to you and see where it goes. One downside is that it's kinda hit or miss. For every night where I end up going home with a cute girl, there are 3 or 4 where I'm dealing with an angry drunk trying to pick a fight; a woman I'm not into who keeps trying to paw me; etc. Also, if you aren't careful it's very easy to get blackout drunk. I remember once a couple months ago sitti…

When I was younger, I lived for a while in a country in Asia where I was constantly being hit up for sex, I guess due to my race and eye color. I agree with others that it gets old after a while, but I still got into a pattern where I would have 1 or 2 steady girls and also 4 or 5 casual encounters a week. There were a few weeks where I had more than 20 different women.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/08/21 01:54 PM

No one says never. They say rarely Based on my observations, it's a lot more common than "rarely." And frankly if (generic) you are a dude who is significantly unattractive to 20 something women in your 20s you’re not going to do any better when you’re older unless you got significant cash to lure the gold digger types. I actually agree with this. I think men's potential sexual attractiveness tends to be pretty stable from late teens to middle age. If a man did well with women at age 20, he can …
/r/PurplePillDebate28/08/21 01:00 AM

Do you look younger than you are? Not really. On the plus side, I still have most of my hair and I'm in pretty good shape. On the down side, I have lines in my face like most men my age. If you’re fit and look younger it’s not surprising that younger women are open to dating you. I think there are two issues in play: First, a woman assess whether she finds the man reasonably attractive. Since a middle aged man is still potentially fertile, his age is not necessarily a problem at this stage. Seco…

Yeah, I would have thought that it's just a matter of being wealthy, but what's interesting is that I get regular interest even when I don't flaunt my wealth. For example, I often commute to work using the city subway mainly because it's interesting to meet people. I don't wear any expensive clothing or jewelry. The other day, a cute read-headed woman in a minidress sat down next to me. I asked her a BS question about where the train was going, and she answered me and also complimented an articl…
/r/PurplePillDebate27/08/21 10:33 PM

For what it may be worth, I fall into the "very wealthy" category (net worth > $50m), divorced, and planning a remarriage with a large age gap. I think it's kind of like the girl who says she doesn't care about height but it "just so happens" that all of her boyfriends have been over 6' tall. In other words, men instinctively find youthfulness attractive in women, so a man with options will tend to gravitate towards younger women. Part of the issue is not so much youth per se, but other issues. …

Yeah, there is a man in my office who is not ugly but he's a little awkward socially and I've noticed that female employees tend to cross their arms, back up, and glance away if he walks over to talk to them. What's also interesting is that there are a couple female employees who are normally pretty touchy-feely. e.g. if they are talking to me they will put a hand on my arm now and then for emphasis -- not in a sexual way, but just being friendly. But I noticed that these ladies never touch this…

I'm not a billionaire but I'm pretty successful with a net worth a little more than $50m. I didn't set out to date young women, but I find myself mainly dating women in their 20s even though I myself am over 50. I think what happens is that men find youth to be attractive in a woman and naturally gravitate in that direction if they have that option. From the female perspective, if you talk to women in online discussion boards, they inevitably say something like "ewww gross" when the subject of o…

Yeah, I really like the look of delight on a woman's face when we are intimate; hearing the sounds of pleasure she makes. I like it when a woman is unbuttoning my pants so she can fellate me and she is so eager take me right away.

What is the optimal mix, on average, for each gender? For men, I would say it depends on how easy it is to find women who are sexually attracted to you. For example, I know a guy who's kinda overweight and unattractive who never had a girlfriend before age 35, but he had a good government job with benefits. In his late 30s, he finally met a single mom of 3 or 4 children who was interested in dating and marrying him. She had some kind of health problem and I suspect she was more interested in get…

I actually met one of these supposed gurus in a bar in New York once. I was sitting there chatting with a couple women I'd just met, and he walks up to us wearing this ridiculous-looking shirt and delivers this cringy little shtick which sounded completely rehearsed. There was an awkward silence, and then he said something to the girls which was kind of insulting to me, like "Hey, is this your dad?" There was another awkward silence and finally I said the girls "Hey, let's get out of here," whic…

But a lot of men out there have to sacrifice their own ideal sexual preferences to obtain 'any' sex at all. Sure, and a lot of the time the man is better off just going to a prostitute or going MGTOW than getting into a long term relationship where the wife was a slut for other guys but is a prude for him. Case in point: I once had a FWB, a South Asian lady who was engaged at the time. It wasn't exactly an arranged marriage she was getting into, but it was parentally guided, you could say. Anywa…

I think that for a lot of men, there is a problem that as you age, you often become wealthier and better connected. So if a woman wants to spend time alone with me, or even flirts with me, I have to consider the possibility that she's mainly looking for something non-sexual from me. So for example, I was shopping for a nice car a couple months ago, and there was cute salesgirl who held my hand as we walked out to the lot for a test drive. I would normally take this as a sign of sexual interest, …

/r/PurplePillDebate26/08/21 02:08 PM

You do realise that a lot of women see straight through that negging shit right? Not really. It's sort of like how 99.9% of women insist that television advertising doesn't significantly affect their purchasing decisions. That advertising affects only weak-minded fools. They simply don't realize that they are the "weak-minded fools." Of course, the joke of it is that if society does anything to protect women from their own foolishness, they freak out about it. "I'm old enough to make my own deci…

Just an observation I've made from my own experiences, but a lot of Redpill views on women's behaviour (e.g. hypergamy) only applies to a very specific subset of women - Hot party girls. That's not been my experience. For example a number of years ago, I took a class at a local university and there was a girl in the class I had a crush on. Her demeanor was very prim and proper, she had a "Campus Crusade for Christ" thing going on. For kicks, I decided to go all red pill on her. For example, inst…

I think the key in such a relationship is to have the right expectations. In my 20s, I met a woman like this in South East Asia. We got married, but we weren't best friends or anything like that. It was understood that I would give her a nice lifestyle, regular sex, and legitimate children but she wouldn't try to control my life or anything like that. More than once I had her iron my clothes when I was going out on a date with another woman.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/08/21 11:55 AM

I've tried to achieve the best of both worlds -- a long term relationship at home, and a few "plates" on the side.

I think it can be a problem, but not for the reasons you say. If two guys are buddies, and one is a little more of a ladies' man and one is less so, it can excite feelings of envy which undermine the friendship. I had a buddy like this once. Every week or two we used to eat at this restaurant which had a cute waitress he had a crush on. One day she came over to take our order and she casually put her hand on my shoulder while she was telling us the specials. My buddy got up and stormed out. I wa…

I have found that when a woman is really into me sexually, she behaves in a pretty eager, aggressive fashion. So for example, I was walking with an LTR in the park a few weeks ago, and we started kissing, and I suggested we go back to our place and she looked at me and said she couldn't wait so we were intimate right then and there. And I've seen that happen many times, i.e. the woman is so horny that getting laid is the only thing she can think about. I think that one difference between men and…

How do the people at the other side of the power imbalance feel? As far as I know, they're okay with the situation. One practice I have is that if I find a woman at work attractive, I don't making any kind of sexual advance unless she first shows some kind of interest herself. So for example, I once had a subordinate who worked in a cubicle, and she asked me if she could use my office to exercise. So every almost every day she would come by, shut the door, strip to her underwear, and do some pus…

As a consenting adult she was probably ok with it Certainly this particular individual seems fine with it. I helped her get a good job and we have nice memories together. Anyway, at this point she's working for someone else so there's no power imbalance, but she still asked if she could come by my office to hang out, which is a polite way of asking for sex.

I've had sexual relationships with subordinates at work and for the most part it's worked out okay. I think that a lot of people, especially women, actually prefer relationships where there is a power imbalance. So for example, a few years back I hired a receptionist who was straight out of college and we had a torrid office affair. I eventually helped her find a better job at another company and we parted ways with no hard feelings. In fact last month I got a text message from her saying that s…

In my experience most women enjoy (1) going to college; (2) having sex before marriage; and (3) engaging in degrading sex acts and BDSM. It's gotten to the point where I keep a whip and handcuffs in my office. Not because I'm into bondage but most women want and expect something kinky. I've lost count of the number of women who wanted to be slapped around, called names, peed on, etc.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/08/21 01:45 PM

Another possibility is that if a man is successful with women, it gives him perspective on female behavior. I'm somewhat successful with women and it always surprises me just how much women want to be dominated, humiliated, and generally mistreated. The third time that a self-described feminist challenges you to pee on her, you start to notice a pattern emerging.

After reading up more on the manosphere it seems to me that the main motivation of many guys is not to succeed in dating much less to get laid. The main motivation is to "return society" to a older state of affairs. The two goals are not necessarily incompatible. In a traditional society a man at the 10% percentile of desirability will be married with children. So it's sort of like a poor person who supports socialism in part because he knows he would benefit in a socialist system. Of course the…

how did you pull that sort of arangement off? As far as the situation at home goes, my girlfriend wanted to bring another woman into the relationship. For my dalliances outside of home, I lie and cheat. Probably it doesn't hurt that I am wealthy and the owner of a successful company.

How attractive are you out of 10 and how attractive are the two women you're dating? I would say I'm about a 4/10. I would say that objectively, the two women are in the 6.5 range. Not beautiful, but cute since they are both slender and in their 20s.

I'm a man and I admit I'm a little bit of a sex addict. I'm in a "triad" relationship, i.e. I live with 2 women and we sleep in the same bed. I also have an FWB at work and the occasional fling. I don't think it is. I think it's immature", "insecure" or "unreasonable" to be obsessed with how you measure up to her past partners, or the need to be the MOST attractive person she's been with. I think that if you are a man, it's important to be number 1 in at least some area. I myself am mediocre in my appearance but fortunately I have a very large penis. So even if I'm not Chad, most girls are happy to have a long-term relationship with me.

I think the key is to be alert for signs of interest. For example, yesterday I was waiting to cross the street when a girl asked me for directions. I used it as an opportunity to start a conversation with her; long story short we went back to my office later and had sex. Sometimes things are more subtle, for example pre-epidemic I was at a conference, made eye contact with a girl across the room, and she glanced briefly at my crotch. That makes no sense. Rules about dressing professionally, sure. But why would they make rules about what's underneath and not even visible? When a woman wears a skirt or dress, sometimes it happens that her panties are visible; when she wears a blouse, sometimes it happens that her bra is visible. Anyway, it's not unheard of for dress codes to contain standards for undergarments. Besides, women get a choice between the sexy option and the more conservative option.

How do they know? do they have panty inspector?? For the most part it's the honor system, although if a woman is wearing a dress or skirt it happens once in a while that her undergarments are visible. The rule is that male employees have to wear a tie with the company colors and female employees have to wear bra & panties with the company colors. I suppose it's a little unfair to the men, since there's no way for them to cheat.

Does anyone else here think that a woman's treatment and overall energy around on a first date is also something important? Sure, but it's much harder to know what her energy was like with other men. So for example, I once dated a girl who was engaged and later married. We started having sex almost immediately even though she made her husband wait. It's true that her "energy" was great from the beginning, but it wouldn't be so easy for her husband to know that. "Energy" is much more subjective t…

Most women I know don’t wear underwear under workout gear at all. I never have. I think she was talking about what women wear when they change into regular clothing, not what they wear for exercise itself. In fact, a lot of the girls are going swimming so I would assume that's what she was referring to.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/08/21 12:11 PM

I'm convinced most women do not wear them and never have. My girlfriend who goes to her university gym regularly says that a little less than half the girls there wear thong-style panties based on what she sees in the locker room. Maybe it's a biased sample since it's mostly younger women.

For what it may be worth, my company's dress code gives women a choice between thong-style panties and bikini-style; about 25% of women choose thongs. For male employees, there's no underwear standard (since men aren't wearing dresses or skirts) but at company events where I've seen men changing, I've never seen any wearing thong style underwear. In my experience, it's pretty unusual for women to openly admit that they are trying to dress sexy, even when it seems pretty obvious. For example, wom…

The key to understanding women is to realize that they are children. If a baby screams in the middle of the night to be changed, does it have any empathy for the parent whose sleep is disturbed? Of course not. A baby's mental model of the universe simply leaves that out. This condition is commonly referred to as "narcissism" and women never really grow out of it. A good example of this mentality is Hillary Clinton's famous comment that women are the real victims of war because they sometimes los…

As a woman, I can't imagine any of my female friends doing it and I'd be EXTREMELY weirded out by any women who do this. Where is this normal??? I disagree. Even walking down the street, I regularly see girls walking together holding hands. It's hard to believe that all of them are lesbians. I think what's going on is not that most women are bisexual but rather for most straight men it's important to be NOT gay.

Women are for the most part largely bisexual I think that this is a pornography-driven fantasy. I think that straight women will sometimes be intimate with each other because it's taboo; or to achieve non-sexual intimacy; or because they know men find it hot. But genuine bisexual women are pretty rare. I say this as someone who's in a "triad" relationship; I live with 2 women and we sleep in the same bed together. If most women are bisexual, you would think they'd be constantly going at it with …

Or is there a lot of virtue-signalling bullshit? I remember when my girlfriend wanted to bring another woman into the relationship, we put a couples ad on a dating web site. The simple mathematics of the situation ensure that there is not someone for everyone. For one thing, there are more males born every year than females. Given the improvements in workplace safety and decline in major wars in the West, there are more males than females in every age cohort except for the very old. Is the "someone" for a 25 year old man a 75 year old widowed grandmother? For another thing, a lot of men will take multiple women off the market if they have the option. For example, I …

No one cares about men's nudes. I agree, a corollary to that observation is that a man can change his clothing in public without much concern that anyone will stare or try to photograph him. Just a couple weeks ago I drove down to an industry trade show with a couple female employees. I changed right in the parking lot while these girls had to go in; find a place to change; and then come back out to stow their clothing; and then go back in again. The irony of the situation was that their clothin…

I think it comes down to the hypergamy instinct versus the polygyny instinct. If I meet a woman who's more attractive than my long term partner, I'll cheat if I can, but I won't lose attraction for my partner. From an evolutionary perspective, why not impregnate both? For women it's different. If she meets a man more attractive to her than her long term partner, then if her partner impregnates her, it deprives her of the opportunity to get impregnated by the more desirable man. I experienced thi…

Yes, this is another area where Reddit is full of unicorns, i.e. women who insist that men over the age of 40 are "gross." Being a woman myself, and being privy to women's private discussions among ourselves, I think most women would be satisfied if their husbands would simply pull their own weight. Unfortunately most women have a poor understanding of their own motivations when it comes to sexual/romantic relationships. /r/PurplePillDebate16/08/21 12:48 PM

In my experience, most women want to be somewhat submissive their man in real life and very submissive in sexual matters. Although the line can be somewhat blurry. I once had a girlfriend with whom I watched a science fiction movie about a dystopian society in which all women wore slave collars capable of giving them a painful electric shock if they were disobedient. My girlfriend told me she thought that was a pretty good idea.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/08/21 11:58 AM

Couldn't it just as easily be the other way around, though? In theory, yes, but as a practical matter you'd be going against millions of years of evolution. Most women are ultimately dissatisfied if the man doesn't take the lead in the relationship.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/08/21 10:49 AM

Children should submit to the authority of their parents because they are mentally, emotionally, and psychologically underdeveloped, making them (usually) unable to make rational decisions. Yes, exactly. Women are more or less the same. And what's interesting is that everyone pretty much knows it. So for example, if an adult woman has sex with a male Hollywood casting director in exchange for a movie role, society (and even feminists) agree that the man has taken advantage of and abused the woma…

But my question is, how is that different than a healthy partnership? Why does submission of one partner need to be involved if they both love and respect one another and decisions are made together? What happens when the two people disagree? For example, what if your child is staying up so late playing online games that the child's schoolwork is suffering? What if the child thinks this is perfectly fine but the child's parent disagrees? In that case, the parent might make a decision that the co…

I've thought about it and I don't think I could go back to living and sharing a bed with just 1 woman. It's human nature to have your standards raised by past experiences. By the way, if you are a man and you want to snoop, you can often sell it as a kinky sex game. For example telling her she has to wear a collar with a tracking device. My girlfriend with the jealousy fetish actually enjoys it when I take away her privacy in this way.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/08/21 11:41 PM

I think the ones who don’t want to deal with it don’t snoop anyways. Why would they ? They might do it as a result of social pressure; or if they think they want to know when they really don't. But anyway, I guess you are right. I've never been dating a woman and have her ask to inspect my phone. Not that it really matters, because I have a couple separate "cheater phones."

In theory, I wouldn't blame a female partner for trying to snoop on me, given that I cheat pretty regularly. But I think the real issue here is that deep down, most women would prefer to ignore their male partners' cheating if they don't have to confront it. So I think that on balance, it's a bad idea for a woman to snoop on her man.

A few years back I dated a model for a while and I think most people assumed she was a "sugar baby." Or maybe people thought I was some kind of entertainment industry executive taking advantage of her? Part of the problem was that she loved to wear super high heels and when she had them on she was taller than me. She also loved to wear short dresses and skirts to show off her legs, but revealing clothes are more likely to make people think a woman is a sugar baby or call girl. So I think the key…

Brad Pitt? Lol I think the only women who would possibly give him attention are women his age like the ones who remember him from his young acting days. Lol, there was a picture of him on the set of OUATIH and one of the (much younger) actresses was lifting up her dress trying to get his attention. And he's nearly 60. And I didn’t say you personally were sexually unappealing the wall is in general a revenge fantasy. The insinuation is that I was rejected as youth by young women and therefore I f…

I think that if women really cared, they would just stop watching movies with large age gap relationships. I think that peoples' attitudes towards age-gap relationships are a bit like their attitudes towards lawyers and bankers. Some co-ed at a liberal arts college might demonstrate every week for months against "the 1%," but what happens if she gets the opportunity to date a young man who goes to Harvard Law School? The answer is that she'll find a way to justify it to herself. "He's planning t…

But women don’t exactly “obsess” about dating old men either. If the man is otherwise desirable, of course they do. Plenty of high status men over the age of 40 get a ton of female interest. Even Brad Pitt, who at this point is pushing 60. But like I was saying you need to believe this to hang onto to your revenge fantasies and misogyny. Lol, that's what it always comes down to. When a feminist is losing an argument, it's always "You're sexually unappealing!!"

You think 40-50% meet those requirements?? I think that's being GENEROUS. Notice that I said "in my area." The area I work has disproportionately more attractive women than other parts of the United States.

I'm rich enough that paying for a date means nothing to me, but I subscribe to the idea that dating is something you do AFTER there is already some degree of physical intimacy. I've never been on a formal "date" in the sense of asking a woman I don't know already to go to dinner at a restaurant or whatever with the idea that we will have some kind of job interview conversation, get to know each other better, and only then decide if there's any sexual/romantic interest. I think that in that situa…

Those are called prositutes. The first one was a college student who was there with her parents, so no. The second invited me back to her place but didn't quote any kind of price, and anyway the girl she was with urged her to meet me a different day when we were both sober. So I would say she's probably a garden variety gold-digger.

I mean you say that but based on your standards I’d say you are probably like bottom 20% to the age range and attributes you describe, unless you are a multi millionaire I actually am rich but I generally don't use my money to attract women. In my experience, a man's age doesn't have much impact on his attractiveness to women so long as he's in shape; he's not a geriatric case; and he has most of his hair. Online, it's common for young women to say things like "Middle aged men!! Ewww!!" but I th…

She can't be fat; she can't be a single mom; and she can't be crazy. In my area, I would guess that about 40-50% of women between the ages of 18 and 30 meet these criteria. I'm a man, 52 years old, I would guess I'm in the top 50% based on the fact that I'm not fat. Also curious which gender is more “delusional” I don't think there's any doubt that women have a much bigger tendency than men to overvalue themselves and undervalue the opposite gender. How could it be any different given that socie…

Unpopular opinion amongst guys on this sub but I think a bit of goldigging is probably okay. You just will end up paying a price for it. I'm a rich guy and I would agree with this. I'm naturally attracted to certain stereotypical things in women -- youthfulness, a fit body, etc., -- and I can hardly blame women for being attracted to things like wealth in men. My favorite story about this is my girlfriend was sitting naked in my lap and I told her that I was about to get a check for $300,000. Ab…

I am pretty wealthy but I don't wear expensive clothing or an expensive watch. If a girl shows interest in me, e.g. by sitting down next to me in a bar or an airport, I assume money isn't her main motivation. At work, it's a bit different because everyone at work knows I do pretty well. I've dated women from work but I would be pretty nervous about marrying one.

In my experience it's pretty much inevitable. Years ago I decided that I wasn't going into a long term relationship with anyone unless she could tolerate me messing around on the side. And surprisingly women have been pretty tolerant as long as the cheating is not in their face.

Yeah, I one had an FWB who was a law student; straight out of law school she went to work for an organization for battered women -- all excited about helping fellow women escape from abusive relationships. After about a year she gave up and quit. I think that if the man is thinking about how to please the woman, he's lost half the battle or even the whole battle Because women prefer a man they look up to and if she looks up to him, the focus is on his pleasure not hers. So for example, a typical lovemaking session with me and my FWB at work involves her coming by, performing oral, and then getting dressed and leaving. Meanwhile, she sends me text messages saying that she masturbates while thinking about me, that she wants to move in toge…

Immediately trumpeting to strangers whatever unethical thing your close friend did, just for the sake of righteous exposure isn't unequivocally ethical. It's a lot more of a gray area. Actually I think most of the time it's not even a close call. Whenever I (or one of my "bros") has been cheating on a woman, it's been pretty obvious that deep down she knows but she puts up with it so long as she can pretend to herself that it's not happening. The men I know who are unattractive/low status really seem to get treated like dirt by women, even in non-sexual situations. For example I was in a bar the other day and there was a fellow next to me who was pretty unattractive and the bartender who was a girl in her 20s kept ignoring him. I'm not a "Chad" but she kept checking with me every 5 or 10 minutes to see if I needed anything. Meanwhile he sat there for half an hour getting no attention at all. There's a kind of neutral scientific way to go about this. Instead of approaching women, I will often just wait for them to come into my space. For example, I will be at a store and I will hit on a woman who seems interested in looking at the same items as me, which is often a sign that she's interested in me. In my experience, women of all religions are interested in casual sex as long as they can keep it private.

Definitely the second one. I once dated a girl like this and she was a lot of fun. Although she was pretty funny about style. She couldn't just exercise wearing shorts and a t-shirt, she had to wear a "cute outfit" to the gym. She wouldn't leave the house unless her bra & panties matched. Meghan is very attractive and doesn’t even look her age She looks like a well-preserved 40. She's far less attractive than she was 10 or 20 years ago. Let me ask you this: Do you ever wonder why a significant portion of men, even men who are middle-aged, seem to obsess about dating women in their 20s? Do you ever wonder why there are very few strippers who appear to be over the age of 35?

I care about having enjoyable sex and satisfying relationships. I do not care about “women looking good.” And yet it clearly bothers you that women find the vast majority of men unattractive. To the point where you deny it in the face of strong evidence. I can't even imagine wanting to be a woman. Would it just mean that I get all the respect and deference women get? Or would it also mean that I'm emotional, prone to hysterics, cowardly, fickle, unable to accept responsibility for anything, and unable to parallel park a car?
/r/PurplePillDebate04/08/21 08:52 PM

Of course not. Maybe two or three times a month I meet a woman who's madly attracted to me and I've never been monogamous in my life. I was cheating on my ex-wife even when she was in labor with our kids in the hospital.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/08/21 08:48 PM

You do understand how stupid it sounds to claim that being a woman and understanding your own sexuality is an example of "in group bias" don't you? Not at all. A woman making claims about female sexuality is going to have a strong tendency to spin things to put women in the most positive light. That's the nature of in-group bias. And of course it sounds stupid to you. Any suggestion that you might be biased is going to sound stupid to you. That's just your bias. Anyway, this is a situation where…

They are not attracted to YOU. Your claim was not about "wanting to fuck instantly." It was about attraction. It was wrong. The sky won't fall if you just admit that you were wrong. Because women don't want to fuck every man instantly? Because women find 80-90% of men unattractive, that's why. If you want to put it in terms of "instant fuck," I would describe it like this: If a woman wants to "instant fuck" only the top 10% of men, and she's married to a man who's not anywhere near the "instant fuck" category, it's very likely to cause a lot of problems in the relationship. Do you think this isn't the case in the beginning? Correct. I think there are a lot of couples where …

How would it benefit the human species for womens sex drive to function the same way as mens? Serious question I hope you will address. I'm not sure what the long term genetic effects would be, but it would be tremendously beneficial for society if a woman of average desirability could be attracted to a man of average desirability in the same way that a man of average desirability can be attracted to a woman of average desirability. Thats a lie then. Most men will take an attractive woman in her 30s over an unattractive one in her 20s. I have no idea what your point is here. Assuming this is true, it does not contradict anything I have said. All women suffer an inevitable and dramatic decline in their sexual attractiveness in their 30s. My take is that everyone, male and female has "wild" instincts, but there are differences in what kind of social pressure is applied. For example, I was chatting with a woman in a bar last month and she casually reached over and squeezed my thigh to emphasize a point and then briefly rested her hand on my crotch. How is that stopping you from dating younger women? It's not, and it doesn't (25-30 year gap). I occasionally browse FDS mainly to see what buzzwords they are using. It gives me a chance of spotting FDS girls in the wild and avoiding them. I actually have my company's email server set up to check if people are using words like "HVM" or "scrote." A few months back I got an alert of a likely "FDS girl" so I carefully got rid of her.

They obviously were influenced by culture. We live in a culture—everything is influenced by it. We know for a fact some of the historical pressures that were put on men and women and their relationships. We do not know what would have occurred if society did not exist. Consequently, I replied to this comment. Essentially the same thing could be said in response to the original post, and yet for some strange reason you didn't. Or did you?
/r/PurplePillDebate01/08/21 03:37 PM

There is little point in speculating how relationships would be in the absence of society, since this is impossible to know or make any type of based claim about. And yet the original post does essentially that, by arguing that at some point in the past, traditional relationships were propped up by various kinds of cultural pressure. Did you make the same point to the original poster?

Well I'm sure the remaining five that are not status-exchange and transactional have wonderful marriage prospects, and I'm sure yours is the exception Lol, nice to know you've given up on trying to support your position and have switched to personal attacks. Good luck. Take care. Thanks, you too.

Cling to that hope, my guy Lol, it's not a matter of hope. I asked for your proof; nothing has been forthcoming. The apparent fact that age-gap marriages are more likely to be green card marriages, or less likely to be people from similar backgrounds, actually works against your argument.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/08/21 12:16 PM

Couples with larger age gaps are less prone to assortative mating in other ways, such that the wage gap between them is larger than for couples who are similar in age Ok, so it sounds like you do NOT have proof that once other factors are accounted for, age gap marriages truly have higher divorce rates.

Once we control for age gaps, remarriage and female-initiated divorce based on infidelity, is there any proof that lesbian marriages truly have higher divorce rates? Not that I'm aware of. And now the analogous question for you: Once we control for every last factor, such as age at time of marriage, re-marriage, membership in orthodox religions, likelihood of having met in school, etc., is there any proof that age gap marriages truly have higher divorce rates?
/r/PurplePillDebate01/08/21 11:10 AM

Women are the ones most likely to file for divorce, so yes, that this is driven by women's preferences is indeed obvious Ok, so then we should discourage lesbian marriage; interracial marriage; and any other category of marriage which is associated with a high rate of divorce. Agreed? But you go right ahead and cling to hope Lol, that's an interesting ad homenim there. Anyway, please answer my question. You seem to believe that any category of marriage which is associated with a higher divorce r…

Yes. I don't have a percentage. Any percentage I give would be a guess. Ok, let's see if I understand. You claim that some men find that it enhances a woman's attractiveness if she is "strong" and "confident" but you have no idea at all if this is a tiny minority of men or some majority of men. Do I understand you correctly? I mean based on nothing. You just made that number up. I made an estimate based on my general observations. The fact is that you know perfectly well you are wrong. Finding a person who hasn't been exposed to porn at an early age is a task. So it's not that we can check your theory. Actually you are wrong. Porn was not that easily available in the 60s and 70s in a lot of places. But more importantly, your reasoning proves too much. By your reasoning, it's impossible to know whether smoking causes lung cancer. Because it's always possible there is some other cause. I didn't abandon my claim at all. Well then please clarify your point. You claimed that men find it attractive when a woman is "strong" and "confident." Are you saying this applies to substantially all men? If not, then roughly what percentage are we talking about? You're the one that brought enslaving women and rape into this and went down a rabbit hole, and now you're abandoning the "strong and confident" thing even though you were the one that started asking for statistics about that. The real reason for the age gap/divorce correlation is women's preferences, and what relationship types bring them the most enduring satisfaction. Isn't it obvious? No. Certainly you haven't provided "unequivocal proof" of anything. Is it "obvious" that the reason for the high divorce rate in lesbian relationships is women's preferences?

The third link, and it says, "Today, Olson released another set of visuals—the most intriguing of which focuses on the matter of the age gap. A one-year discrepancy in a couple's ages, the study found, makes them 3 percent more likely to divorce (when compared to their same-aged counterparts); a 5-year difference, however, makes them 18 percent more likely to split up. And a 10-year difference makes them 39 percent more likely." It also provides a visual chart representing the escalating risk at…

So when you were talking about men not being attracted to strong, confident human beings you also don't even know roughly what percentage you were talking about No, I simply didn't respond to your question. There was no need to, since you abandoned your claim. And how many women do you think have their good business ideas ignored? The question has more than one component: First, how often do women seriously propose business ideas; second; what percentage of those ideas are good ones; and third, what is the likelihood they will be ignored. As far as the first issue goes, I'm pretty sure that proposing business ideas is something that men do a lot more than women due to men's greater risk tolerance and greater desire to make money. As far as the second …

Can it be unequivocally proven that the lesbianism itself is the reason for the higher divorce rate though like it can be demonstrated with age gaps? Please show me your unequivocal proof that age gaps per se cause a higher divorce rate in age gap couples. "One other contributing factor could be age. Consensual bdsm play =/= as rape. No one wants to be forced to do something they don't want to do. I completely agree and never said otherwise. At the same time, what a person fantasizes about does give some insight into the way their brain works. Human beings, men and women, are attracted to strong, confident human beings. Just because women were married/raped more, and men were forced to work/fight doesn't change that. This isn't a gendered thing. Except that we are talking about submission in the context of sexual relationships. Which is very much a gendered thing.

My question for you is this: There are other types of relationships which are associated with shorter life expectancies or higher rates of divorce. Raped. She was raped. Sure I'm fine calling it that, and what's interesting is that she eventually became the chief wife of the warlord who kidnapped her, which meant that she would be helping to raise the warlords heirs and probably exercised some degree of power in his household. Probably the full details are lost to history, but it seems likely that pulling this off would have required her to cooperate and to convincingly shift her loyalties to this warlord. What kind of traits are we selecti…

Proof? No proof, just my general observation that sexual submissiveness is extremely common among women and that this is consistent with our evolutionary history. This is true for all kidnapping, for men or women. Ever heard of slavery? I think that taking of men as war grooms was pretty unusual compared to the taking of women as war brides. No proof, just my general sense.

I'm not sure what kind of evidences you're talking about here. I'm talking about specific facts you can point to which would support your claim. That's what evidence is. So far you have pointed to none. All you have done is offer a syllogism based on a generalization about all movements. I've shown that your generalization is incorrect. Which leaves you with nothing. Don't you think that these "tendencies" might be a result of social pressure as well? Social pressure might play a role, but I'm pretty confident that natural tendencies play a big role. Submissiveness is just so common among women, even among feminist women who were raised by feminists. Moreover, it completely makes sense given our evolutionary history as a species. In the ancestral environment, bride kidnapping was definitely a thing and from a genetic perspective, a woman faced with such a si…

Women are NOT being taught that they can never defer to a man simply because he’s a man. Umm, does that mean yes or no? Do you agree that there is currently a lot of social pressure against people who express or act on a preference for a relationship in which the man leads because he's the man? It's really a pretty straightforward question and I'm asking only so that I can try to understand what you are saying.

Would they? In the modern world? I don't think so. The reason I think so is that we still carry our ancient genes in the modern world. The most genetically successful woman in history, Hoelun, is mainly known for being the kidnapped war bride who gave birth to Genghis Khan. In other words, she submitted to male authority. That sort of drama has been playing out for literally hundreds of thousands of years and in my experience most women have pretty strong submissive tendencies both inside and ou…

I think you’re a little confused about that. Girls and women are being taught that it’s demeaning and abusive to submit to a man simply for the sake of him being male. They are not taught to rise up against male leadership, they are being told that they are equal to men, and in an equal position, it is demeaning to be told to submit to the male simply because he is male. I'm not sure I understand your point. Do you agree that one element of the concept of a traditional relationship is that the m…

As he should be I disagree, but you're actually proving my point. The reality is that there is a lot of social pressure AGAINST traditional relationships, at least insofar as they entail male leadership. Therefore, one can turn the OP's argument on its head and argue that it's male-led relationships which are natural which is why there is so much pressure against them.

Yes. Well there you go. A lot of people have and express this idea. Did they all think of it independently? Or did they pick it up somewhere? Is it just a huge coincidence that if you watch a modern movie, television show, or commercial, it's very unusual to see a male-led relationship being presented positively? Ironically, you could turn the OPs argument on its head and argue that it's equal relationships which are unnatural and that people seek them (or pretend to seek them) only due to const…

Generally any movement against something starts with people trying to change the existing norm. Without the existing norm, there wouldn't be a movement that is trying to change it. I would have to disagree with this. A lot of movements are just about people trying to grab power and designating some hated scapegoat or outgroup to go against. The most obvious example is German nationalism of the 1930s, but I'm sure there are plenty more. If there wasn't misogyny and discrimination towards women, f…

It often works the other way around as well. That may very well be so. My point is simply that the existence of pressure to enforce certain norms does not imply that those norms are unnatural in a general sense. So for example, most people would agree it's pretty natural for children to be subject to adult supervision, whether in the form of parents, teachers, or other authority figures. And yet there are all kinds of mechanisms in place to keep children in line. And modern push against traditio…

If women were naturally submissive homemakers who needed a man to lead them, why would there be a need for religion and culture pressuring them to conform to these roles while punishing anyone who deviated? There's actually a lot of pressure in the opposite direction, telling women that it's inherently demeaning and abusive to submit to male leadership; that it's important for them to have independent careers; etc. If there were no pressure either way, it's hard to say what would happen, but my …

Not necessarily. It's also possible the women in this alternate scenario would have remained single That's true, in fact my FWB told me that, although maybe she was just trying to boost my ego. The "taxation scheme" would have to include strong social pressure on women to marry.

Men work more and they work better - it really is that simple. Also men take more risks. For example, I started a company from scratch which now generates over a million dollars a year in profits, however there was a reach chance it would have no profits at all and that I would have blown all my investment in it. Meanwhile, the girl who works as my assistant earns $100k a year without having put lots of money at risk. She has no interest in spending a lot of time and money on something which may…

I’ve never had to lie or exaggerate to get laid. Yeah, I think that the "Chad" he's describing isn't really a "Chad." Yeah, I once dated a girl who was a pharmacist and she told me that by far the most common recipients of anti-depression medications were women over the age of 40 with no husband (which she knew because she would see who else was on their health insurance). As far as relationships versus casual sex goes, my experience is that (1) every woman I've had a casual relationship with has been interested in having something more serious; (2) of the women I've had serious relationships with, some would have been willing to have a casual relationship and others would not; and (3) if a woman is more sexually attracted to a man, she is more likely to be willing to accept a casual relationship with him. So why are women hesitant to join polygamous marriages when this could lead to a better life for most women compared to being in a monogamous one with a less desirable man? I think the real reason is that women are very sensitive to social norms and for women it's seen as demeaning to tolerate their man openly being intimate with other women. My evidence for this is that in my experience, most women will prefer a polygamous relationship so long as they can pretend to themselves and others that i…

In theory it should matter. But in practice I have found that the beliefs a woman presents to the world for purposes of social acceptance and virtue signaling are not necessarily related to her actual beliefs. All of the supposed feminists I have dated were very much anti-feminist behind closed doors. I have dated a few non-white women who were liberals in public but who were basically white supremacists in private.

Many women (and men to a lesser degree) love to posture and virtue signal. Have to look perfect, but behind closed doors they act like themselves. Yeah, I once dated an Indian American girl who was extremely liberal in public, pro-feminist, hated Trump supporters etc. In private, she loved to role play that I was some kind of colonial invader who had made her into my personal servant.

I agree. Women definitely don't go for neotenous looking guys. When it comes to men who are much older than them, like 20 or 30 years, women have a tendency to bow to social pressure and say things like "ewwww" when the issue comes up. But if you are in a social situation and they are away from their peers, it's a completely different story.
