Said violence is marginal and practiced by each other. You're saying that men suffer from men. To even say it's a suffering of the sex is silly, it's 2015. When was the last time you got your ass kicked? Instances of female violence towards men are outliers and not of that much consequence. Does there exist physical abuse towards men at the hands of women? Yes. Is it as much as the vice versa? No. Next point. This isn't a disadvantage of society, it's an available risk. How does this even work i…

Like I said, why does it matter? Ask yourself, you brought it up. I don't know what would make it matter to you what I think of the matter. You don't give a shit about what the place of men in society is even if you did think it was bad, so why waste time about it? Again, what does that have to do with me? Where are you pulling this stuff from? It's utterly disconnected from what I've been saying this whole time. You keep making these weird perceptions about me and I'm just trying to make a logi…

You couldn't really care less about what happens to men anyway, so why does it matter? Keep impressing vaginas by making light of the men at the bottom of society. None of that has anything to do with me, you're just projecting.

I was more pointing out how awkwardly written your sentence was. It's too hard to navigate this thread to find whatever comment you're talking about so how about you just post it again?

There's a whole lot of room between generalization and what you're doing.

I give up. There is no point to this discussion with you, you've been ruthlessly enigmatic. I don't know if you wanted to string me along or if you're just not confident enough to take a stance, but until you actually have something of substance to say I'm just going to stop wasting my energy.

Thank you for sharing your delusions, it makes for a clearer point of discussion. So... 1. You're wrong and 2. You're wrong. Now of course there's variance with this and I'm only suggesting this about a woman no more masculine as the average dude. Guys love it. In fact, if you're writing a female character in a story that you want guys to like, it's a good tactic to write a man and just say they're a woman. The reason why is because of relatability. Furthermore, it makes more sense to suggest th…

Wow, that's the most dweller thing I've heard so far. Black women are the least desired because black people are considered masculine by society, just as Asians are considered feminine, to the detriment of the other gender. Why did YOU think that?
/r/PurplePillDebate17/09/15 05:32 PM

That's not an example of what you said though. Or did you think that the fact that a feminist could possibly be capable of unhappiness supported that idea of yours?

The article goes over plenty of logical and professionally asserted reasons for the decline in happiness. Now, what you vague, equivocating, intellectually timid people keep implying is that being strong and independent, or pursuing those things, is bad for women. Why? Why on earth would that be? What brought you guys to this conclusion other than this data that was interpreted so much differently by the people who carried out the actual research? What is it that you get that the researchers and…

You'll find that this is pretty much the exact reasoning used by feminists in the 70s and 80s Example please? I wasn't aware of this.

You're implying that workplace discrimination and gender oppression is what makes middle aged female professionals the least happy grouping in the population. Yeah that's really specific. I didn't imply it. To have such a HUGE effect, it would be a HUGE factor. Why aren't gender equality groups jumping on that like flies on my cat's stinky litterbox? What's so huge about that effect? Unhappiness is rampant, and the 42 year old doctor/lawyer woman is on top in that regard. What's so huge about th…

I fed you your own platitude. Except that it didn't really work when you did it, as it was easy to refute. You didn't make any further points that I cared for. I accounted for you saying that before you even said that, because I knew it was the next step for you. I'm a bit ahead, bud. My points are fine, and if they weren't, you would have been happy to refute them. That may be true for you, and I realized that earlier: "maybe less so for yourself." It may be true for me that what? Are you sayin…

Are you putting words in my mouth? It was a question, and a genuine one. All you had to do was answer. I'm trying to figure out what your stance actually is because you're being very vague about it. Some women won't enjoy the lifestyle stated above. A noncommittal truism of a statement that wasn't worth saying. Some men won't either. See above. Not everything's a case of black-and-white. Nothing I said suggested otherwise. What I'm arguing against, however, does, be that your view as well or not…

Now you're pussyfooting. You're using sarcasm as a defense from an increasingly difficult argument, so you can avoid addressing points directly. You can say that my argument was just too dumb to properly address, and that's probably your best option at this point, but we both know it's bologna. I didn't realize that what makes someone happy was necessarily what "suited someone". What? Of course. Happiness suits EVERYBODY. What I'm questioning is the notion that UNhappiness can suit someone. We h…

This is irrelevant. So is the dangerous jobs statement. How is knowing how to make women happier, and actively working against that a moot point? Nice try but that's dependent on unsubstantiated assumption. Not all of us buy that working is contrary to female happiness, because it's stupid.

The only possible implication I see here from drok is that "strong and independent" might make them unhappier, not that it doesn't suit women Umm... "Being strong and independent doesn't suit women" "Being strong and independent makes women unhappier" You can try to spin it and rephrase it however you want but these are extremely similar and not really worth the distinction. You call it a separate assertion, I call that bias on your part, because it's not very separate at all. Think on this for …

Ooh I almost said something really hurtful but I'm just going to turn the other cheek here. This is just very disappointing of you, I'd rather you have just not responded. It's true that not all lifestyles are fitting for everyone, but that alone isn't much of a claim. It becomes a lot more interesting when you actually try to connect this with the topic at hand. Are you actually suggesting that Women are unfit or less fit for the modern professional environment?

Either fake or not the whole story. What I am willing to believe is this... Redpill theory orbits around some basic human (and non gender specific) truths of attraction, and it gives these guys sufficient confidence to indeed have a better time with the girls. For most people all they needed was to go out there and pursue what they want, and realize that it's simply because of that that they got something as opposed to the integrity of the red pill itself.

NO WAY?! An unmarried 42 year old female professional is unhappy? Empowered woman = bullshit! You know what we call this where I come from? "Confirmation bias". There's absolutely no way that there could be ANY disparity in the experience of a man and a woman in a professional environment, so CLEARLY whatever effect it has on them must be a direct result of differences in their inherent psyche. To decide this to support any part of red pill theory is unscientific and intellectually lazy. Think o…

/r/TheRedPill - personal anecdotes and stories are like a third of their content at any given moment, so knock it off, you're not fooling anybody. If you're not familiar with that sub at all, I seriously doubt you're here to discuss in good faith. Yeah I don't think you understood what I wrote. Of course I'm familiar with the red pill, I'm banned from it on three accounts. Why do you need an anecdote from me personally, when there's no shortage of them out there, readily accessible? Holy bad faith Batman, do you think I'm stupid? I feel no need to give you unnecessary ammunition, especially given your lines of argument that tend towards the pedantic and unjustified skepticism. What do you mean "readily accessible"? I don't see any "compelling redpill theory supporting anecdotes" banners flashingon my screen. You're asking me to prowl through various forums just to…

Only if you forget to look at the comparative disadvantages of being male that far dwarf all of those supposed advantages. Like...? What I truly don't understand is how come people can't fucking read what is presented to them. I didn't misunderstand anything, don't pretend that I did. Just kidding, I do, it's because they are feminist cronies who are only concerned about their social status and female approval within their little bubble that they will outright refuse to see all the worst positio…

There's entire subreddits full of anecdotes. Take from them what you will. I don't feel the need to contribute any of my own if you're going to dismiss them as "imaginary scenarios". You're just deflecting the question. Anyone can say "look around" or "look it up" but it's usually a device of people who aren't comfortable defending their views when pressed. I'm sure Sean Connery and Matthew McConaughey are full of shit too when it comes to women. Those two guys have probably gotten more action t…

Even an anecdote would be welcome. Theres plenty of room between empirical evidence and imaginary scenarios. This sneer is a little closer to the mark. Without some vulnerability, nothing happens unless she basically seduces you. Vulnerability is what releases sexual tension. But too much vulnerability and/or presented the wrong way, and it has the reverse effect. What is the "wrong" way and why does it have that effect? I mean for one, few people are interested in earring the emotional baggage …

I fail to see how this is persuasive. Once again, the evidence for the red pill is an imaginary situation. But if this is your experience it's possible that it's because your feelings showed that you weren't an attractive person on the inside.

I don't get why people are in such a huff about the "privilege" thing. Just kidding, I do, it's because they're unhappy about their lives and it threatens their identity as a victim. Male, white, etc. privilege doesn't mean you should feel privileged in your life, it means that there's a lot of comparative advantage in society. What I truly don't understand is how people convince themselves that males aren't advantaged in society. Just kidding, I do... It's because these are sexually frustrated …

I don't know why you're acting like your view reflects some overwhelming majority, it doesn't. And everything you freak out about in regards to Islam pertains to a mere phase that Western powers are largely responsible for. There's really no avoiding the fact that at it's core, Islam isn't a very different religion from Christianity in any way. Islamic regions have just been fucked over pretty hard this last century. I'm not muslim but it does bother me that people condone reactions like yours. …

I know "money isn't everything" is a romantic sentiment and all but it's not unreasonable to be frustrated with a frugal, unambitious person. I am a frugal, unambitious person. Thing is, we live in a world run by money, and to spend your life with someone in self imposed poverty is going to be frustrating. Living in happy poverty is more of a juvenile fantasy than anything. Is it that bad to want to live in a nice house? Is it that bad to want financial security? Is it that bad to want to have t…
