Yup, it is a rather simple explanation, because one could think "OH, SO YOU'RE NOT ATTRACTED TO YOUR PARTNER!1!1!" (which can be totally not true), but yes, indeed – it could be summarised to these words."shallow" and "immature" are the key words here. And that applies both to women and men. No gender gap here.
