Models. This sub has changed a lot, this used to be the default answer for a reason, and imho it still should be. Inner game is the only game.

these guys are delusional if they think reddit is any better. someone said your opinions become the media you consume, and after spending years on reddit, and then a little while off it, i can vouch for that statement's veracity.

i like a lot of the things you say in this. what are some good nlp books to read? not just for pickup but general, i hear there's a lot of snakesoil salesmen in that genre, but i hear the good ones are very helpful

the most important point he makes is that you have to go out at least as much as you're on tinder. but honestly, tinder's bullshit and if you spend half as much time talking to ppl irl you'll get over any anxiety / issue that you might be having imho

This might be good man, i'll try to think of it this way. I think i'm slowly getting used to the idea, its probably just the transitional period that's painful, but im gonna try and adapt the attitude that its a reminder to live it up while I can.

The thing that fuvks with my head about my receding hairline is the fact that it's like a constant reminder of my mortality. The first time I noticed my hair falling out was probably the first time I really realised I was going to die. It keeps getting worse constantly, I can't cling to my youth when I'm balding and that's fucking uncomfortable.

kinesthetics makes sense, but as a half-serious theory i like to think it comes from kino - the german word for cinema; if you take a girl to the cinema for the first date (horrendous idea, but something many of us have done as inexperienced teenagers or young adults) touching will be weighing down on your mind like a well fed elephant and it will only get heavier if you feel you've missed your window of opportunity. hence it makes a good name for 'touching for the first time' in general

instagram is the worst thing in terms of putting girls on a pedestal. when i used to use it a swear it was more harmful to me than porn in terms of objectification and superficiality

there's an outstanding nerdist podcast episode with aziz ansari where they touch on this subject. basically about how in the 1930s or something their grand-mum didn't have someone text her every half an hour going 'what's up'. we shall break from this paradigm.

white | but seriously, the one thing i realised is there's nothing to get. no one else really knows what's going on. there's a lot of lost people that know how to pretend really well. but you should value your doubts, not let them take over and paralyse you, it means you're thinking more and you should trust yourself to know that's a good thing.

I agree. What's worse is this is exactly what happened for women a while ago, i mean this is our descent towards a male version of cosmo. It's a well developed industry: all the products in place to make you insecure and all the products to reverse the process and make you a "21st century man" (except they won't really work because the people putting them out there are victims of this cycle even more than everyone else). What a load of marketing shit.

I cant claim to completely understand what youre going through, but there's plenty of ladiesmen with similar height to yours! I'd be surprised if woody allen was much taller than that! the 2nd video also seems a bit too perfect to me. not saying it doesn't work, because i know it does, but it's extremely rare for a girl to be that well spoken in english in eastern europe for no specific reason (like having grown up in an english speaking country or taking english at university) it's pretty odd for neither of them to acknowledge this. and then she guesses he's from 'north'? very unusual if nothing else

can we talk about it for a minute? how do you go about doing this, by kinoing her from the start or what?
/r/seduction04/05/13 04:55 PM

fair enough. i did get pretty good closure in the end, i told her i didn't think we could be friends and we should just stop talking completely because she was completely sabotaging my emotional tranqulity, which was a great decision i think, but i still wasted months of my time and energy on the whole thing

dude, unfulfilled high school crush worked out really bad for me, she got in touch, i didn't care but thought let's hang out why not, loads of iois, long story short i transformed back to 16 year old me without realising simply because she had significance for me as my first real crush and that was my only behavioral reference. i developed oneitis even tho i thought i was completely safe from it. i'm not telling this compellingly, but yeah keep away from fire if you don't wanna get burnt

I think you simply missed the opening, hence her weird reaction. I guess you'd rationally reason "she's into me now so she'll be into me in half an hour too" but in reality you should've taken the leap of faith when she was talking about the bedrooms in the house. One of the most helpful things I learned from reading Style is that womens attraction is not Constant, but rather goes and comes with hikes and dips depending on your behaviour. So she may have been really into you earlier in the night…

i really don't agree with the way you handled that situation, if you didn't intend on closing why did you make every move towards it? that's abusing the power of the game and toying with someone else, especially the bedroom bit. the least you could've done if you had a sudden change of heart (nothing wrong with that) is let her down gently on her 21st at her own damn party! i know it's just a day like any other, but a lot of ppl assign special relevance to it and it's probably something she's go…

Spectacular stuff! Any particular advice? Im kind of on the same path; moved into a house recently with new people (girls) to improve my social skills/circle, but i kind of feel their friends are off limits and they also have a routine already which im not really a part of. Even social things you did together would be helpful to hear? I also get AA when i go out with them cos, well, they're girls and we live together don't wanna look like a creep

man! that's fascinating, i feel like we left so much knowledge behind in search of the silver glitz of modernity; oration used to be one of the highest valued skills thousands of years ago, but even a century ago, they still taught etiquette and conversation skills. it's like some guys with pipes in the '30s thought "we don't need all that inter-person social shit, we've got science and we're all going to be rational from now on...". and now we're after the lost knowledge, a great quest of socia…

yeah man this seems to sum up a lot of what i think is completely wrong with social space today. everyone has a communal mask, but the problem is, the more you wear this mask the less you remember what's underneath. in regards to the points in the title; manipulative is the most descriptive word that comes to mind. i'm sure it helps some, but it definitely doesn't seem like the most satisfying path to me.

I was going to post something about how club-game is really hard and unrewarding in the uk, but I haven't really got the proper experience to compare and it's impossible to tell if it's down to me or the environment. I guess club-game must be strange everywhere.

Yeah that's completely reasonable. I reckon you were so memorable in the first interaction you might still get a text back later. Let us know (also how great is it that you immediately discovered her bad attribute; you could've spent days courting her and finding out she's a jehovas witness! )

This question almost inevitably leads to overgeneralisation. "oh I know a guy from Europe and he says this.." or "I've been to America once and.." every country is different in Europe, and America also has subtle cultural differences, however, at the end of the day people have sex wherever you go. Imho social circles and immediate setting probably matter more than country. And even if that's not truE thinking your country's difficult isn't going to help your game.

|some mandy and then emulate a lot of what it does into their normal game.| can you elaborate? my circle of friends is pretty big into md atm but I haven't really felt the need to get into it because of s few reasons a) pickup suggests it's a crutch and i'm trying to be substance independent b) the time I took it I seriously was attracted to almost every girl and it actually made me feel very insecure, idk if that would be the same now c) awful sleep in the couple if days after. whats the part t…

Dude, at the end of the day you take away what you want to, even if that's not what you want to hear. your experience of pickup seems completely different from mine, and frankly it sounds like youre making a snap-judgement. for instance, the advice you mention at the end of your comment; that's textbook abundance mentality. I learnt this from pickup. pickup has also taught me that other men struggle with attracting women and there's a way to better myself with the help of what evolution would ha…

I'm no expert by any means but I agree with what was said above, she doesn't sound like a cock tease, she just sounds very insecure and probably has issues that you're being the victim of. The Disney advice would be to go easy, make sure she feels comfortable around you and build trust and she will eventually open up. However I think the pickup mentality here is to move on, and I would go with that based on personal experience. She may not be worth the emotional rollercoaster ride you're subject…

I'm 90% sure the 90% figure is just made up, similar to how I just put a random high percentage on my conviction that it is. I was somewhat irritated by it when I first heard it because it's a good example of how pick up often sounds very pseudo science-y if you don't take it with a grain of salt. then i realised that its just an indicative number, like everything else in seduction, and it's meant to be more of a reminder than a concrete rule or law. Like 2/3 of the times it accounts for 90% of …

I've been working my way through it for about a month now, trying to take it in and going over it, not even half way there yet but it's some really eye opening material (most of the times that is, putting aside the insane amount of repetition and ad-lib that Tyler does, which is still fun). The basic message is really simple (be confident, dgf), but there's some really reassuring things in there. It's entirely inner game and I wouldn't say it all applies to everyone, but it's helped me a lot bec…

I disagree with this quite a bit. There is a running view in psychology that introverts are actually more perceptive to their surroundings and whereas extroverts don't notice and so tend to actively create more stimuli by talking etc. From a personal experience when i pay attention i pick up on a lot of things that I know people don't want mentioned because it either breaks the flow of conversation or is something they want to project as natural and so pointing it out takes away from the effect.…

I've been listening to Roger Love's Set Your Voice Free I think that would be a good starting point for you too. i think people are just disconnected from their own voice; I only found out I spoke slowly when I was like 19, hopefully I won't be told about being quiet when im 28..

this is a good instance of why i find pickup fascinating; essentially getting girls is just a byproduct of properly understanding the social dynamic. some may do it naturally, but it's especially rewarding to master it once you're really aware, like op seems to be (i put down the occasional sense of smugness to truly dominating the situation here)

well done on the progress man. i'm interested, do you have any videos or whatnot you'd recommend to get started with meditation? one little thing i'd add, although i too am kind of new to the game, is that it doesn't really sound like you're entertaining yourself; you're being a bit passive asking them questions instead of just talking about what you find interesting and funny.

it's a really interesting perspective, but again, it's only one side of the coin. i'm sure both sexes are similarly guilty of not being able to relate to the other side. i just feel like the male perspective is sometimes brushed to the side, as it's usually older men that are responsible for traumatising young girls. but we all get the blame for it, and there's nothing worse than being made to feel like a creep because of someone else's trust issues. not to oversimplify it, but you basically end…

good call about airports. i fly every couple of months and i can attest it's not just girls that find airports exciting or romantic haha. there's also the added advantage, that a) you both immediately seem more exciting because of being there b) exactly because there's usually only a couple people of certain age groups (i'm early twenties, but this was especially true a few years ago) there's that added connection, 'destiny' feeling. however, my issue is mainly with the length of the flight. i f…
