I don't think this reflects how most women actually think. It reads like you've taken a handful of experiences and turned them into a universal strategy that women consciously use. Most women aren't maintaining a roster of "orbiters" based on who can meet different emotional needs. i will explain short but precise. as a woman, i think it comes to you naturally. having fwbs doesn't always mean it should be prepared. sometimes a drink and an intimate stare from your friend is all that takes.

Your ex basically told you the quiet part out loud. A lot of guys show up so polished and careful on the first date that there’s nothing left to react to. Showing the real (even chaotic) version of yourself earlier would’ve filtered faster and probably worked better with the women who actually match you.
