I built a squat rack with 4x4's and 2x4's in my garage. I use saw horses as safety bars when squatting which you will need if you are aggressively adding weight in a program like Stronglifts 5x5. The cheapest place I've found for weights is ordering from Walmart which at the time had free shipping for purchases over a certain amount.

I was planning to start a local group of Christian men who would meet monthly for fellowship. However, the China virus hysteria has put that on hold. There are many groups such as Kiwanis, Lion's Club, etc. which were founded from 1900-1930's which performed a similar function. However, the benefit of good fellowship with other men which those organizations offered for the first 50 or so years of their existence has mostly vanished.

You admitted that you are only attending church 60% of the time. That is not the mark of a mature believer. The seventh day was ordained by God to be a day of rest and one dedicated to God. I did not quote Deuteronomy 22:23-24 (assuming those were the verses you are referencing) because the situation in those two verses is about a man who has sex with a betrothed virgin to whom he is not betrothed. The purpose of that case law is to make the seriousness of having sex with a betrothed woman to whom you are not betrothed the same as having sex with a married woman to whom you are not married (which is the strict definition of adultery).

Eagle scout here. I also recommend Trail Life USA. The same community of people that were in my Boy Scout Troop are now in Trail Life. I expect that they will be growing rapidly due to this. As far as I know they are the most drop-in replacement like organization to the former BSA.
