Oh yeah, having a four-armed demon-woman - Sheeva, if you're curious - beat me to a bloody pulp and then skin me alive with her bare hands is totally a power fantasy of mine. But seriously, here's the deal: As a rule, when you're dealing with women - and this is especially and always true with feminists and feminism - logic is more like Silly Putty than concrete. If it serves their purpose to use it, they will. If not, that's fine too. They'll happily manipulate it or simply ignore it altogether…

Maybe it's just me, but this smacks of opportunism. First things first: I don't care if it's six bucks or six million, no amount of "compensation" will ever remedy what's been done to this guy. Oh, his wife tried to help his case knowing he was innocent? How horrible that she had to do that! It's almost like she was being a... a... a decent human being! Wait, his wife sent him care packages and money while he was locked up falsely? Did she do that out of love or not? If so, then why use it as a …

Both people are partners in a marriage. Sure they are. You'll get no argument from me about this. Women are more than capable of performing the same jobs. Which is why there is such an abundance of female applicants for manual labor jobs, right? Come on, Jurgos... The reason you're sexist is because you believe inherently that the same job that you're doing as a man is so beyond a woman. Give me a break. Never once did I say that no woman can do any job occupied by a man. I said that men are bet…

First, I feel awkward holding doors for grown men, but I will if they obviously need it. With women, on the other hand... I don't know. Call it chivalry, call it kindness, call it whatever you want. It's not like I expect them to take me home after out of gratitude... it's just a door lol. Similarly, if I'm with a girl and it's cold out, I'll give her my jacket, or my umbrella if it's raining. I do it to be nice, and because I think it's a guy's place to do these things... but I guess that's sex…

You're not from HR, are you? No, but seriously, I don't understand why people see a problem in this line of thinking. Then again, I hold doors for women too, so... You know all those "women belong in the kitchen" lines? Well, I happen to believe that a guy's "kitchen" is a job - if a guy marries, then it's his duty and responsibility to provide the best life for his wife as he can, even if that means working his ass off. Coming back around to the whole door episode, it'd be nice if we didn't hav…

Every incident like this sends a big, flashy message to the feminists and their ilk: Keep pushing... as you can see, you'll get away with it. Anyway, here's a question... maybe the folks down in Loss Prevention can do a quick calculation: If you work at a place where this is a possibility, how much work are you really doing or accomplishing? If a woman has the time and/or the incentive to run and tattle on you to a biased pseudo-authority because you had the nerve to be kind to her, and if, in t…

Anyone eager to part with $40,000+ USD just so they can be preached at as to why and how men, and if you're in the U.S., white, middle-class men in particular, are the secret destroyers of the human race and the usurpers of a planet which rightly belongs to "womyn" should not be allowed to stray beyond the confines of the nearest psychiatric facility, let alone given a license to practice medicine or the law. Not all degrees are valid. Bullshit with a university seal attached is still bullshit. …

It isn't just extremists. In fact, there was one guy over on WN who was the sole comment at the time I read the story. His (loosely paraphrased) comment? "Hey, I'm fine with being taxed like this, especially since I've got a Swedish fiancée I'm trying to bring over to the States". This isn't even a "creeping feminism" issue. Ok, it is, but I'm not here to bitch about the feminazis. I'm here to point out that anyone with even a shred of common sense should find a gender tax horrifying. Make no mi…

Fair point. The title is a bit clumsy. Chalk it up to a mix of extreme sleepiness and outrage. To clarify, it's just as you said: They're going to vote on it - nothing has passed yet.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
