Bro, not stooping down to dating HB5s is a good thing, you have standards now - this will be good for your self-esteem.

I agree, there is no need to get emotional about it. I've learned to cultivate relationships and avoid deleting/blocking people, who knows down the line she might be worth something more than a fuck.

You gain momentum when you change your mindset - be easy on yourself but hold yourself accountable. If you can't make small changes like cutting 100 calories daily, you will never take on bigger challenges.

Good post but you dragged this out - a couple of paragraphs would have been enough.

It would be best to move out and to your grandparents, you'll never grow in a toxic environment.

And its okay for it to be "all over". This ties back to what I said before, it was a waste of time and money and no lesson was taught.

I was referring to the dinner. You should have held frame for dinner at your place.

This whole thing was a waste of time and money for you.

Just found this, how's progress so far? I've been through something similar, I'm in my late twenties now. I went to Uni and "wasted" two years on a major I wasn't passionate about. Luckily, I had my parents cover the costs but it made me feel super guilty ever since. So once I got out of Uni, I got a job and put myself through school while all of my friends were graduating (which made me feel like shit). About one year later, I got depressed, failed classes and got into lots of debt (about 17k).…

Judging OP's post history, it looks like he already knows the answer to his own question and is just refusing to accept it. Instead, he's asking pointless and repetitive questions in order to hamster his way out of a bad situation that's going to turn worse.

I think you're going in the wrong direction if you're looking for famous people that practice RP to idealize. That said, from the top of my head, people like 50 cent or Leonardo DiCaprio come to mind.

I agree, mostly the braces are like $3k and the rest will be hers as commission lol, this way her son will have something to show for the $9k (so she can milk the beta lawyer a bit more) and if he decided to go halfies (mentioned by op's woman friend) with her, she'll still rake in $1.5k AND have enough ammo to dump his ass because he didn't pay for the whole thing. Once these bitches lose respect for you, they will plan to the end without any mercy.

I'm a finance grad and I honestly didn't realize there was such a thing as being top 1000 in value investing, is that based on your ROI? I'm a huge fan of Warren Buffet and respect people that live by value investing, do you think many people fail at value investing because they lack patience to do it? I ask because I'm interested in the subject of risk. Risk is an integral part of Texas Hold'em poker, a game I'm trying to be a professional in. I think the similarities are strong between value i…

Good job, looks like you had fun and made huge strides towards building confidence, never lose that. I did everything similar to what you did at my orientation (like a decade ago) minus the jokes. A few pointers though: The first year of college is super easy, everyone wants to make friends and network. The second year is where it gets tough, develop your friendships into the second year to have a group you can fall back on. Study groups help a ton, with both meeting girls and making friends. Jo…

Ha, most of the time. But based on OP's intentions and his initial question, it seems as though he wants to maintain her as a fuck buddy as long as possible without feeling guilty about it. Truth is, if this was an LTR the advice would be use dread game and of course, maintain an abundance mentality.

Plate and keep abundance mentality when met with resistance. Also, add a TLDR and relax with the wall of text, a lot of post has redundant information.

Definitely dun goofed The funny thing to me is her use of "lol" on her profile. She knows she's crazy, she just doesn't care.

That was enjoyable to read. You're right, removing negatives in one's life is good when used in moderation. But for her, everything that isn't up to her standards is a negative. You didn't buy me roses today? You're ungrateful and don't love me. Didn't cook me dinner? You don't care about me, I need to cut you out of my life. I'm studying to be a pro poker player and this actually reminds me of the concept of outs. She's purposely put all these requirements because she doesn't want the beta to s…

The single mother explosion on POF is extraordinary, its even worst than OKC in my opinion. I've found some decent pussy on OKC, but every single chick I found POF was a single mother.

I don't think it would be a reputation hit, you would actually look more mature walking away from a yelling maniac. This quote sums it up nicely: "Wise men never argue with fools, because people from a distance can't tell who is who"

You're right, its very hard unlearning things because some traits become part of your character and are hard to shake off. You might see some benefit in reading and applying NLP, I haven't tried it personally but I know Neil Strauss tried it. I see, then half the battle is already won. Most people including myself have had to work tooth and nail to lose weight and learn this new redpill mindset, and we're still learning. Looking into the past will always lead to disappointment when you're making progress, this is your mind telling you to toughen up and not make those mistakes again, which I'm sure you won't.

What I get from this is: "Now that I'm aware of how much work is required to be an alpha male, I feel overwhelmed and would rather have been raised like that so it would have been easier." Imagine a poor boy blaming his poor parents for being poor. Sure, It'd be awesome to be born into a rich family, everything would get easier, but you would never get to experience the journey to be truly wealthy, or better yet, an alpha male.

I've felt a lot of resentment like this towards my dad too, though I never fully blamed him for everything. I take into account that simply knowing about redpill is a privilege. All this knowledge was never available to my dad as he was growing up, hell if I didn't discover this subreddit, I might have a kid in the future blaming me for something I don't know about either. I do know that I'm an adult now and I have the power to change myself, however tough the journey might be. Blaming others wi…

This seems like a silly question to me. TRP is a philosophy, a set of beliefs about life, women and ways to improve your life as an alpha male. I don't think there is a "set" music for TRP, but if I had to think of a type of music when I think of TRP, I would say any music that's no bullshit and empowers you as a man.

I've felt like this on occasion too, one thing I do take into account is the number of people that have completed a successful transformation to those that haven't or haven't shared their transformation with us. Let's say out of a 1000 people, 50 people share their success stories with us. This can seem a lot when not taking into account the other 950 people, but in reality the 50 people only represent 5% of the whole pie.

Bdsm works great in getting and spinning plates longer than the regular hottie, mostly because submissives already know and understand their place (in terms of being a plate) and most times just want to please their Dom, the parallels to RP are pretty strong.

Oh, the little subtle changes are the worst. In my old job, my beta boss would be "manhandled" by women a position under him all the time, he failed to realize that them cancelling meetings or kicking him out of conference rooms they forgot to book for but urgently needed was not acceptable. Then he constantly complained about how he was not respected or people never implemented his ideas to projects.

Few insights I want everyone to know from this back and forth to minimize confusion: 1) When writing a reply to a post, you don't have to include every little detail in order to justify your response. My post was simple, straightforward and relevant to OP's post, I don't have to include all the details because my story is an example to relate to OP's story. 2) When thinking critically, giving the benefit of the doubt to the person that stinks of bullshit will lead you down a slippery slope and g…

My man (or woman), you've missed the whole point of this thread, it's called abundance mentality and how my example relates to that philosophy. Not if I made the right decision or not, get that tampon out of your ass and start thinking critically instead of living your life in what-ifs or if-nots.

It could have been a missed opportunity, but the point is I didn't want to work there even if they offered me more money. Few details I didn't include: Red flag 1: Out of the 4 interviewers, 3 were women. Red flag 2: I was told by a trusted coworker (who has worked in my industry for 5+ years) the company was a complete joke, hence why they have to offer 10k more in order to compete for candidates. Red flag 3: When I offered a solution (to interview with only her at a later date since it was bet…

Can't agree with this more. I've used this same tactic myself in order to emotionally tangle the person and make them jump through hoops just so I can lower the price to what I want to pay and if not, I just walk away. The key is not to go too far, in OP's case, the guy was being too indecisive and annoying.

This is a good post, I've been through a similar situation myself. Just a month ago, I had about enough with my job and decided to aggressively send out resumes to various companies in my industry. Now, usually when I hear back I'll then begin to research the company and see what it's all about. End of the week comes and I'm set up with two job interviews. Company 1 is small, mid level salary, and reviews are good. Now company 2 is much larger, has a high salary (10k more) but the reviews are ju…
