I think MGTOW is too hardcore for you. You need to go back to first principles, the very first lessons our fathers should have but too often didn’t teach us. Things like being your own person. Taking care of yourself. Not letting anybody — male or female — dictate how you live your life. Not letting your happiness depend on another person. No label, “MGTOW” or otherwise is going to fix this for you. You’re going to fix it for you. Take care of yourself, man.

Depends on what the advice is about, but probably not. Her point of view is so much different from yours that it won't work for you.

You don't have to work a lot of hours to make 200k. What you want in life is the highest multiplier on everything: Highest multiplier on spreading your DNA (impregnate lots of women) Highest multiplier on earning potential (lots of $/hr + multiple streams) Highest multiplier on influence (lots of people who work for you) Highest multiplier on gainz (juicing. sorry.)

You and I understand the difference, but the random people in the mall and online don't - just look at the video comments to see that. He let himself be goaded. It wasn't smart. When you do what your opponent wants you to do, you lose.

I didn't say they were almost equally egregious, I said storming toward her was less bad than actually hitting her. They're both bad options. All it takes is one white knight to escalate what was meant to be intimidating into a physical altercation, and with that video he'll lose the inevitable criminal charges. I mean, that's essentially the outcome the girls were trying for ("No! Don't walk toward her!") but nobody in the immediate vicinity wanted to take him on. Chad got pretty lucky.

Yep. Engaging at all was a mistake. This was a confrontation, so that's the context his body language has to be interpreted in. Storming toward a woman who is confronting you, in public, with a camera rolling is probably the worst possible thing to do -- short of actually smacking her around. Shit test failed. Lots of people here see the testosterone and instantly think he's being alpha, but that's wrong. The girls control the environment and the context, so straight away the only thing to do is…

You just think it is. I was on oxy for a chronic condition for a few months and wrote down some of the more "profound" things while high as a kite. sample: The world is round, and so am I. I clearly remember thinking how fucking profound that was, and then I read it the next day and couldn't even fathom what I was thinking.

So keep things novel. Notice that the period of time where you're putting in your dues and getting your ass kicked at work/starting a business is exactly when you have kids -- keep her distracted. If you married a woman who wants to be womanly, aka motherly, she'll dump her time into the kids while you start killing it at work. Keep her busy and she won't have the time/energy to think about looking. Of course that depends on finding a woman who wants to take care of the house and kids, so good l…

Gynocentric, sure, but that isn't the same as feminist. This is actually a really interesting topic. Modern judeo-christian religions seek to attract women, seem to cater a bit to women (all the women's bible studies and kids events and frilly decorations and "jesus is my daddy" shit). But they do that because if women go, men will show up, and they need the men more because they control the finances. It's like a different take on the club scene almost. Fleshed out probably worth its own post...

Justine Musk can still publish under Justine Musk, even if she changed her name legally to Moonstone Riboflavin. I don't think you can deny Brad Pitt is alpha. You're only as alpha as the distance between your alpha and her alpha. AJ is alpha as fuck for a woman, probably more alpha than 90% of this sub's population. BP may be alpha but he chose another one as a mate.

You 100% do not need a degree for entry level IT. You need to demonstrate some aptitude and interest (a github with something in it, some shitty tech support jobs on the resume). You won't be sliding into a $120k Google job right away, ofc. Everyone pays their dues. Some pay with college, some pay with shit jobs and self learning.

You're going to get a lot of flak for this because the TRP hive mind belief is American women = bad, European women = good with little to no nuance behind it. Your post is really good because it's an example of AWALT, with emphasis on the A. That A stands for ALL, not American ;)

It's better to think in terms of income streams. If (mortgage out) + (rental income) == some positive number, that's a win. Worrying about the intrinsic value of the property is somewhat useless because the gains/losses are so jumpy, and they're all unrealized until you sell anyway (cf. rental income which is realized monthly). Plus the transaction costs on real estate are so stupid (10%+ sometimes) you have to either be a volume buyer or get crazy lucky to beat just the rake over the short term…

Well, the cynical way to look at it is that the attractive women have fucked their way through their entire local circle and now have to branch out to OKC to keep the carousel spinning. Or, they're ready to lock down BB and her friends are all wise to her. "I just can't find a good guy!"

I don't think that usually plays out though. Ever see a fat dude with some HB9? Yeah, all the time, and you think "huh he must be rich". It's practically a trope. Temper your rage with some facts. You are wrong. Princeton did a massive study called the Fragile Families and Child Wellbeing Study. "Helping people" comes from one of two places: either neediness, or the overflow of your awesomeness. If you are so badass that you're like, shit, I need to spread my awesomeness through the galaxy, and helping people is part of that, great. But you'll find that most people are helpful because there's a hole in their soul. That they're trying to fill with the validation of the poor suckers they're "helping". This is never more obvious than when a guy seems to be giving everything up for a woman.…

Whatever is scarce/hard to get was historically seen as attractive. Eg it used to be hot to be really pale, because it meant you didn't work outside with your hands. Now virtually everyone works inside so now it's hot to take time to tan yourself. Fat was the same way, it used to be hard to get fat because we didn't have processed foods and the normal person worked hard with their bodies. Now it's cheap and lazy to be fat, and takes extra work to have muscles. The general rule is: if it takes de…

Then allow me to expand your awareness. It's true in the US, and the specifics vary by state. Here's an example: Nebraskan Luke Armour became intimately familiar with his home state's parental rights laws when he lost the custody battle for his daughter. Informed by his ex-girlfriend that she was pregnant and then notified of her intent to give the baby up for adoption, Armour hired an attorney to petition for custody. Eh, you just have to be careful and adept with your screening process. RP is good in that sense because it teaches you how to hard next the ones who fail. So many of us (ie, BP) make excuses when she says "oh yeah dad was an alcoholic" instead of instantly nexting. If someone really wants kids that much, I'd suggest they get a surrogate at this rate. Lot of overly complicated advice here from people trying to look smart. Here's the basics: Starting a new job is the time to negotiate salary. Get the most money you can in the beginning. Pretty much everywhere will offer you lower and promise raises. Don't fall for it. You almost always need to change companies to get a big raise, so start looking for a new job after 2-3 years. Women are wired to seek male attention from the time they are born, and it creates a deficit when they don't get it. In a healthy nuclear family, this male attention is provided by the father. When dad isn't around the girl thinks it's all cool... Then she hits puberty and goes seeking male attention any way she can get it. Which is why women who had their First Time at like 13 have daddy issues, almost without exception. She seems cool now but that deficit was created and you can never overcome…

I think you're reading this all wrong. They stop fearing the option of you not being in their lives. That's pretty beta/defensive. Fearing the option of losing something is for kids, which is why "I'll take that toy away" works on them (kids). But it's too overt to be powerful in the adult world. Real power is implied/covert -- when you act in a way such that they simply have no choice but to respect you. In other words the loss of respect was your fault, not hers, but ultimately I'm having trou…

I'd take that bet. IMO it was her wanting to know if they were getting married. I'm very familiar with women on the prowl for their MRS degree, and this smells like one to me. Although I notice nobody in this thread calling OP on the fact that he has a live-in LTR which is a basic mistake.

Underactive thyroid can cause weight gain of maybe 5 lbs. Clinically OVERactive thyroid and she'd be skinny.

My brain always wants to talk through- prove my point- instead let the silence speak for itself Learn the power of the silence. When you deliver whatever you say in an authoritative way, you gain initial acceptance there, then you let silence happen. The other party hamsters a way to make what you said true for them. Silence isn't really silence, it's an opportunity for the other party to convince themselves what you said is true. Why try and do it for them?

former heroin addict Standard. I expect her home life sucked and she was exposed to violence from a very young age. Hear this men: a woman's past matters. Don't ignore it.

If your woman is doing nothing, she's doing it wrong.

/u/rubberbandnot had it right, it's projection. Projection is when you feel something (degraded/shamed for being fat) but obviously that feeling can't be coming from you because you're too awesome and enlightened for that so in your perception it's definitely the hot girl who is feeling degraded and not you (projection).

Awful advice. Simply put: if you were Brad Pitt, would she flake on you? If the answer is yes, what would she do? Let's say that "college graduation party" scenario had actually happened. She'd call Brad and propose another day/time, or ask you to, and apologize profusely. The issue with running away or putting the ball in her court is that you’re going to lose her as an option. ...so the problem is what, exactly? Opposite of abundance mentality right there. Sticking with this “Friday night” exa…

The idea of the registry is to try and get offenders to not re-offend. People who are sexually abused tend to turn into abusers themselves (exhibit A: the guy in the article). The boys who raped him were likely abused, and in turn, his sister may end up an abuser one day -- or be attracted to actual abusers in the future -- unless she got some substantial counseling or just happens to be naturally resilient. Sexual abuse is like that, it tends to 'infect' the victim and gets perpetuated in that …
