This subreddit teaches that nobody can ever be happy and all you can hope for is a string of meaningless sex, so not really.

When things are this badly rigged its hard not to have a defeatist mentality. But I guess so.

Not sure how receiving daily rejection for not being born good looking actually helps no matter how good you are at 'game.'

Seems to be a lot of talk that if you act in the right way how you look doesn't matter but I'm kinda skeptical, it at least helps a lot.

Men are hardly guilt free from throwing marriages and relationships down the drain to get some pussy.

Seems the other guy failed simply because she wasn't attracted to him more than anything else. Be attractive, don't be unattractive and all that.

Hopefully these guys see lesson learned and stop being walked over but sadly they probably rationalise it with nawalt and repeat the same cycle of behaviour flowed by pain and betrayal. Just lucky I've learned I guess.

I'd be wary of taking evidence from reality TV on account of it having none to do with reality.

It's nothing to do with a mindset, it's just biology. It likely works on you and you don't even realise it. I'd love to live in a fantasy world where I don't have to resort to things like that and I can be loving and open and honest with a woman but every time I've done that it's resulted in nothing while she goes off with somebody who does do that sort of thing and this is from girls who I never, ever, ever would have expected it to work on or to be like that.

Millions of people play the lottery, one is going to win doesn't do much for the millions of losers especially when instead of losing out on a ticket you can lose out on your home, family and even your own life. Historically there's been strong religious and social pressure on families to stick together, we're more lax about it now which gives people freedom but means things don't last.

Its not about optimism its about reality. I'd love a long term relationship with somebody I love and care about but its already been proven to me that it doesn't work so continuing to put myself through pain, time, effort, money and misery in the optimistic hope that this time time things will work out. Its futile and just not for me.

I wish tactics like that didn't work. I really, really do.

Men who sleep around a lot likely don't make very faithful mates either. Although there's a surprising amount of guys, far more than you'd think who legitimately want long term relationships with girls but thanks to the way society is and women are find out that it's just not a feasible prospect The issue is that women who sleep around a lot end up hitting a point where they want to 'settle down' and they meet some poor beta sap who is good long term relationship material and hasn't slept around…

If only women and society would stop body shaming men aye?

Not worth the disgusting amounts of pain, time and money. Cheaper to wear lifts and when they find out hope they've got your lips round your cock.

I always feel bad about this at 5 6 then I remember that when women tell you something you should believe the exact opposite.

Sadly my goal isn't to have sex with as many women as possible. I've always drawn the most satisfaction out of fostering long term relationships with women who I viewed as both friends as well as partners. Unfortunately the girl I loved and planned on marrying after five years decided to sleep with an 'alpha' instead. This made me realise that being 'beta' or whatever the hell I was didn't really work and that what I'm looking for in life and what would make me happy isn't really feasible and wo…

It's just porn, this is how a lot of guys get off and each to their own really.

It's not so much that this guy was a 'beta' and therefore turned her off by being 'too nice' but that he literally showed no interest in her sexually what so ever. It almost seemes genuine that he did want her as a friend? Even as the most beta guy in the world I get when to go for it.

This seems to be an American stigma born from the fact that during the great boom it was a lot easier to get out of your parents house at a young age and set yourself up. In most other countries it's pretty normal to live with family until you're very well established financially and of course the reality these days is that it's often not feasible to live by yourself with the lack of money available. Rugged individualism is pretty nonsensical really, get out on your own in life sure but be smart…

My granddad had similar real life stories, not quite as dramatic and potentially over exaggerated as this but certainly women getting rather upset he he'd had a vasectomy.

I still think I'd like to throw caution to the wind when it comes to maybe raping somebody.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
