And looking at the stats the divorce rates are even lower for your first marriage. I think the trend is moving into the direction that 2 out of 3 couples both getting married for the first time will stay together for life. Not so bad.

Being able to cook, clean, do your taxes etc. are basic life skills for any adult and not being able to virtually makes you low value by default - man or woman.

It's so ducking unbelievable, right. Are there really women who would consider letting him move after all of THIS?!?!

Passive-aggressive shifting of responsibility / emotional labor = throw the whole man out. Don't need no therapist for that.

Don't get into situations, dynamics or contexts where these advances could arise in the first place, nip it in the bud! Also make it clear early that you are not looking to move fast physically and firm and confident about it, saves you time and filters out at least some of the fuckboys.

That makes sense, it is incompatible. I felt his advice to men is comparable in the sense that it's about leveling up and attracting a high value mate, but the male-centeredness of his advice brings it at odds with FDS. Makes me wonder if dating is really a war of genders where even relatively high value individuals of each gender have differing interests and something to win at the expense of the other. Personally I'm always looking towards a compromise or mutual benefit but maybe that is a wea…

Yeah, he is mirroring some FDS principles unjustifiedly since it's men who should do the chasing - but maybe it's a universal principle in human psychology (regardless of gender) that we value more what we chase? If you have time check out the other vid, I'm also interested in whether the general mindset or model is structurally comparable (and how it could be potentially countered.)

She wasn't one though (https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Come_On-a_My_House) Although she performed "Come on-a My House" for many years, Clooney later confessed that she hated the song. She said she had been given a practice record of it and had told Miller it wasn't for her. Miller gave her an ultimatum: record the song or be fired. During a 1988 interview, Clooney said that whenever she listened to the recording she could hear the anger in her voice from being forced to sing it. 😔

Been made aware of this channel recently. Wondering whether there is some overlap between his definition of high quality man/woman and the FDS definition of HVM/F . Basically a male centered equivalent of the FDS mindset as opposed to the usual redpill and incel drivel... Just started rewatching the video and his devaluing of male financial investment at the beginning seems pretty anti FDS tbh. Maybe this video would have been a better example of the mindset similarities I saw: https://www.youtu…

Focusing on myself, leveling up and spending time with friends brings a lot of joy. Of course it can be a nice bonus to share physical and emotional intimacy with an SO but I can take it or leave it. Always been independent in that regard.
