I think you’re right. Judging from my personal experience, this holds true.

Sure, they may express their wish to enter a monogamous relationship, but how I can be sure that they’ll be faithful? I’d say this is the guy was straight as well, don’t get me wrong. But are there additional factors I should consider when vetting a bisexual man for fidelity?

The biggest thing I’m worried about with getting into a relationship with a bisexual man is my hamster. Will it just feel like me against the world? How do I vet for loyalty?

Yes, you’re right. I guess what I’m asking is how to get a bisexual man to see if it would be possible to live a life with a traditional lifestyle.

Thank you for the encouragement! I’ll keep trying.

I found RPW by stumbling through TRP. I was just out of high school and very blue pill, but I wondered why my high school love life was so lackluster, and I found in TRP things I had carelessly forgotten about, being raised in a purple pill household with traditional parents.

Do you feel like you're missing out on anything by focusing more on self-care than the partying scene? That matters more than if others care that you're not participating. I'm around your age, maybe a little younger, and even though a lot of my classmates are really into social drinking, I don't feel like I'm missing out on the sweaty bodies grinding into each other. I hear people tease me about being too prissy, and it used to really hurt, but I've realized that I have to believe in myself and …

Honestly, that sounds perfectly fine to me. Not high-maintainence at all, but good self-care! Are there ways for you to find a niche in your town, though? A sewing circle or a group of ladies to share baking recipes with? It sounds like you could get lonely at times.

I completely agree with this post! It touched upon all the thoughts I would have wanted to put down. Saved.

Aw, come on! :) Being an introvert by definition means that you guys have a rich, fascinating inner world.

Oh, I would just love to marry an introverted man; I’ve always found quietness and a sharp intelligence so attractive. I’ve never understood why silences could be awkward, either. Yes, it is! Perhaps these posts will encourage more extroverts to come out of the woodwork.

I completely agree, lovely ladies! :) I can’t even stand to be with people I like if it’s for too long, especially with similarly extroverted friends. At a certain point, I just feel like I’m performing, and I get so drained I become a couch potato the next day. Being extroverted definitely doesn’t mean that you’re super loud and outgoing by default!

On the contrary, I really admire my introverted friends! They seem so much more at peace with just themselves for company, and it’s really grounding to hang out with them. If I’m hanging out with extroverts all the time, it feels like I lose touch with myself, because I can be too accommodating in pursuit of social harmony.

That’s a good idea! I think I just need to keep trying and not be afraid to put myself out there, to be honest. I was a shy freshman, and I just recently started really breaking out of my shell. I’ll see if my uber-liberal college has a church group I can check out.

My RPW New Year's resolutions: Developing my girl game. I want to get better at being able to attract the kind of man I want to initiate conversations and get to know me better. I've noticed that I usually attract his friend instead, which is a bit frustrating. It's happened two times in the past six months. Re-evaluate my friendships. You know the saying, "You are the friends you keep?" I have a few SJW friends really into social drinking and hookup culture and a friend who is always surrounded…

I'm a STEM major, and I've been focusing on guys in my classes, mostly. I also looked at the guys who were in the same clubs as I was, but most of them are either dating or committed to having the time of their lives partying these years away.

Now if only more college-aged guys believed in the thoughts articulated in this article...I could happily earn my MRS degree as well as my BS. sigh

Of course there are. You know it, too. Don't be discouraged if you haven't found one yet. The better questions are: What can you do to better embody the traits these charming and loyal guys will be attracted to, and how can you quickly tell the difference between the kind of guy you want to invest in and the kind you don't?

Whenever I read posts like these, high school doesn't seem so long ago to me after all. It's amazing that you found rpw as a junior. You're miles ahead of the curve, and I applaud you. That being said, sometimes, the best you can hope for is tolerance. The best way to build an environment of acceptance of diversity in thought is to embody that. Don't be confrontational. Don't try to persuade others that traditionalism is the superior way or the right way, because it's really hard to change someo…

But the concern is that I rarely if ever connect with someone. Things can look great on paper between me & a guy, but emotionally the connection just isn’t there. There’s just no “bond” Sometimes guys hesitate to open up at first. True connections can take time. How many dates do you go on with someone before you determine that there is no real bond there? I didn't notice my ex at all when we first met. I thought he had interests that were incompatible with my STEM geekery. But it turned out, af…

I'm in college now, but I can still remember what it was like senior fall when I was anxiously waiting for decision letters to come out. Students at the top 20 colleges are all incredibly smart. I know of friends who were accepted to Ivy League schools who turned those schools down for honors programs in state schools and smaller schools. There are also a handful of very prestigious scholarship programs at non-Ivy schools, like UNC's Morehead-Cain Scholarship. So don't fear. There will be very b…
