Yahoo Stock price when she was hired was around $16. Its currently at $38.28, had a 14 year high at $51.75 during her time as CEO. Stock price is not the perfect indicator of a company (although I'd argue its a pretty good indicator) but you believe she is a bad CEO purely because she is a feminist.

"food that secretly contains poison" is a pretty different scenario to "mysterious substance that clearly may or may not be harmful" Not really. Its about the lie. I lied to you, told you to trust my food. Cosby lied to these women and drugged them. Your personal responsibility argument is unworkable. People are more like to drive drunk between midnight and 2am. If I am driving (sober) during this time and get rear-ended by a drunk, am I at fault because I risked driving between midnight and 2am…

You come over to my house. I give you food. I say, its good food, healthy for you. Its actually poison. You eat it and die. When I get charged with murder, my defense is "It was /u/TheRedChemist responsibility eat the food or not. He chose to trust me. I didn't force the food down his month or anything. It was HIS decision. After all, I am not a licensed physician. Hell I'm not even that good of a cook." Is this defense acceptable?

You jumped from "Assume the suspect is telling the truth" to "believe whatever the Defendant says." There is no difference between these two statements. The police and investigators have their job and that is to be suspicious of everything- including what the accuser claims. Sure. Its what all thinking people should do. Probably what you should do to. The job of the public and the media is to presume innocence which means to presume that the defendant is telling the truth until convinced otherwi…

Youre a moron. Speak about the law when you know something. The presumption of innocence DOES NOT mean you have to believe whatever the defendant says. You can still determine that what the defendant said is horse shit and find him guility. Its called witness credibility.

So you 100% believe that these pills were just anxiety meds? Come on man. Don't blindly believe in something because your ideology happens to agree with it.

It's stupid when people assume that the woman in a rape case is always telling the truth. It is just as stupid to assume that the man is always telling the truth. Read between the lines

Are you serious? The Depo transcript, his own words, show what type of a creep this guy is. He admits he gave her drugs and that he went for it. He was given the chance to tell his side of the story and still comes off terrible.

You know why people hate this sub? This shit right here. You are all seriously mocking a guy for saving a life?

Here's your lesson learned: Be honest with yourself. Figure out why she wasn't in to you and move forward. Finding excuses keeps you in neutral. I mean really man? The dog?

There's a lot of overgeneralizations on this sub. This is the worst one yet. Blame farts on the dog, not breakups.

Are you telling this story because you think what that guy did was OK? Cause it wasn't. You wouldn't punch a guy for talking trash.

Seriously? This is one of the most immature posts I've read on this sub. Your examples are just the powerful people that make the news. There are PLENTY of powerful people that never make the news. And the majority of these people are ethical and understand maintaining a solid reputation is one of the most important assets one has. You want people to see you as someone who is willing to help people out with no personal gain. There is no cosmic karma, but there is social karma; people repaying yo…
