Funny you say that, this post was made after someone tried arguing that men paying half their share isn’t “fair”, because the women would need her financial share covered if she had to stay home and take care of the kid. Not how that works lol. You’ll have to figure your shit out like the rest of us.

20% is ALOT. And the amount you pay isn’t even based off your income after taxes. Which is another 20-30%. It’s madness.

Man, that’s terrible.

Do away with alimony entirely, once a couple is divorced, it should be that simple, DIVORCED. No more.

I can’t believe I’m actually happy with something DeSantis did. This is wonderful news

Nope. If the father made his stance known from the beginning, they aren’t a deadbeat. A deadbeat in my opinion is someone who lies and says they want the baby and then skips out or something.

Mmmm no. They choose to have sex, they aren’t “choosing” to have a baby lol.

Well in the US the norm is 25%, but some states get away with taking alot more. $430 a month can be alot depending on the person and their income.

Lmao uhhhhhh I dunno, the parent who wanted the child??

Hahahahha. You mean 20-40%??

Yep! Once the meal ticket is out of question, bet they’ll make better decision because they’ll actually be held responsible for once.

But the second a man simply doesn’t want a child, he’s a deadbeat. Lol

…..sigh. Sex doesn’t equal parenthood. Why do people need to keep explaining this? Yes, we know sex makes babies. But that doesn’t mean a woman or man needs to be tied down to the accident for the rest of their lives. Telling people to not have sex doesn’t work.

How are they forced? And what’s funny is, the government already does this! And on top of it they ALSO get child support, so? I know people paying a hefty amount in CS, while the mother receives food stamps, free health care everything. And dad gets squat. How is that fair?

The government isn’t forced to do anything, the parent who wanted the kid can support it. If people are allowed to continue to depend on child support they will continue on with pregnancies that are unwanted by the other parent.

Because that’s just so much better.

What “child” is being “killed”? A fetus/embryo is not a child. And it certainly isn’t murder. Go back to biology class.

And this is unfortunately why men don’t claim kids with women like this.

They could but funny enough they will still be forced to pay child support.

THIS is the issue. Why aren’t we asking the women why they are continuing pregnancies with fatherless children? Because they personally don’t like abortion? Because they personally want the baby? These are all selfish wants. And for them to claim they love and care about their baby, they sure aren’t thinking of that baby’s life. It’s all ME ME ME! It is a thousand times less harmless to simply not want a baby, than to be the main choice holder, and bring the child into the word KNOWING it won’t …

I don’t understand why men or even BOYS are being told to get a vasectomy. That’s pretty extreme. Why can’t we hold the women accountable? Why doesn’t anyone want to talk about that? I feel like not wanting a child is a lot less harmful than being the main choice holder in bringing a child into a bad life, or using it as a pawn for money or an object. A lot of them will keep the child because of their OWN thoughts on abortion, or that they simply want this baby that won’t have a father. Why can’…

I mean, in a situation like that, it would be on the mom. It’s unfortunate, but that is reality. We don’t live in a perfect world. You don’t know every situation.

That’s your opinion, some people can’t afford a lawyer. Men shouldn’t have to do all that shit. Just because you personally had the means to afford all the legal fees and bullshit that comes with it, doesn’t make someone else a loser. Some custodial parents make it impossible to co-parent or simply even be in contact with, so people can go forward with their lives however they want at that point.

yeah, because women are blaming men for the abortion ban in Texas. Not just the politicians and government, but men in general.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
