when I go to the library I want to be left the hell alone. and no, "library" is not a breed of woman.

when girls see you jumping from girl to girl, it looks desperate.

Yes! If a man (or woman) has a large roster, they have too much free time on their hands. The irony is that by not spending that time on enriching their own life, learning skills or becoming a well rounded interesting person, they're less likely to be able to even find someone who's even interested in them because.. what do they have to offer?

you don't want hostile energy in your life, distance yourself from her but first, why don't you just ask her if she's ok. don't assume that she's hostile and responding slow because of you, she might have some stressful stuff going on in her life. people should try to have compassion and understanding first before reaching conclusions :)

Few people know what they want or what they're feeling, let alone are able to communicate it in a healthy, non accusatory way not fueled by emotion, but yes I agree. Communication is probably one of the best solutions we have for most problems.

I think taking it slow is good advice for both parties. excitement is great but it could just be novelty or lust. not rushing allows time for reflection and think "do I actually like this person?"

right, pulling back completely in an effort to have the other person coming back for validation is a form of manipulation. but it won't work on people who have strong self worth and healthy boundaries, ty for pointing that out!

hmm.. yes this will work, but it's triggering anxious attachment and it's not a healthy way to keep a relationship going. I think it's better for OP to just pull back moderately and match her effort.

and I asked why it matters. only way to find out is to stalk her or ask around, which is creepy and a waste of time and energy.

honestly, does it matter? it doesn't change the fact that she is expressing her disinterest. I think its better just to move on than to overthink!

short answer is get more hobbies! be so busy that you don't even think about her, plus it will enrich your life

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
