I feel like that kind of thing would be the very tip of the iceberg. I watched a couple of her other videos after seeing Sargon respond to that one, and even though she will say that she is an even-handed person, she'll also go crazy on shit

I would have to ask if you feel that the MRM does not exemplify these things, and why. Do you feel that people who are a part of it try to villianize women as the crux of the issue, at the core of whatever ideology it can be said to have? I get this impression from some people when they look at the MRM and I worry it's there but I don't see it. I, like you, don't feel it's correct to hold women to blame for men's issues; it is a societal problem and can't be laid at the feet of a single gender. …

Traditionally, men were sent en masse to die in war. Now it is a selective draft, and is unlikely to happen. Bullshit Traditionally, men were expected to die in place of women and children in disasters or they were outcast and reviled. Now they are not. Haha, WHAT? Bullshit Traditionally, men were expected to build a family, and to work backbreaking jobs to care for that family, or they weren't real men. Now a man can stay single forever and, so long as he gets laid occasionally, he's cool. BUUU…

I agree with this strongly. She at least has aspergers IMO, as I do and I see things of me in her.

I dunno, I think she walks a thin line where there's things people already agree with, and things that people may not necessarily agree with, but you could say hold water when you think about 'em. I just find it hard to hate anything she says; I just get skeptical.

dude you should see her on this show with Bill Maher, she is fucking like 1.5 times that. I saw that first and thought this was mild lol. I'm just glad that there was a prominent woman out there who was fighting the good fight, the rational fight, when I was a kid. I think she makes a great point about the general female mentality being fine with things as they are rather than taking risks and shaking things up. Especially that that's just fine, it's sociology.

I have to simply agree with deeptimeswinner. You said EXACTLY what has been running around in my mind ever since I've really started looking at the "tumblr feminist" thing. So right on. I'm really happy that you've had the clarity to think this at your age. It is heartening.

Man I guess you heard a different thing than I did. Or maybe Rockstar updated it? I don't have my xbox connected to the Internet so stuff is as-is. There's also a lot of stuff in other bits of the game where Trevor indicates he is fine with sex with a man, and fine with rape. I think people choosing to believe something else than what's there. Floyd doesn't seem near as unhinged in any other part of the game either as he does there.

Read my reply I posted a bit above. It does indeed happen in the game. Or at least it's so heavily implied there aren't really alternatives to consider.

In GTA5 you can switch between three different characters. One of them is Trevor, and he's the kind of person who if you met them you'd think "what a piece of shit." He does what he wants when he wants for himself and himself alone. Well, when you switch between characters, you get to see what they were up to since you played as them last. One situation where you switch to Trevor has him getting out of a bed, and you see he was laying next to another character, named Floyd. Trevor has decided to…

Yeah but I mean, if a man forced me I'd have no problem telling my friends/family about it, because they'd know I worked as hard as I could to fight him off, and now we'd know who needed to be fucked up, or at least avoided. Telling my friends/family a girl had forced me to have sex though, especially with how much we like joking about it and stuff, and the idea I wouldn't be able to stop it... well I'd be much more ashamed of saying I was forced to fuck a girl.

I really don't see why people dislike what this article says. IMO it is saying "men need to make their voice heard, without worrying about women getting offended. They have to take care of themselves." Why is this such a bad thing? How is being beta, and passively allowing others to fight for you, or to tell you not to fight for what you want at all, is acceptable?

Also, it doesn't help the fact that he wants to whine like a baby over the fact that he saw some things on the internet he didn't like. If you're an adult man act like one. Honestly I thought it was a self-entitled chick.

Listen to "The Trees" by Rush, I think they were referring to this idea in that song. Also, it's Rush.

Don't apologize bud, you are in a good place to be listened to. Please don't believe you can only let go. Your daughter and children will grow up. Also, if they are going to make decisions like adults (like choosing to live with someone who is an abuser) then maybe you should talk to them like an adult about how hard this is, how it is hurting you, and how it will hurt her. My last piece of advice would be to avoid the ex completely if you can. Don't rise to her bait. You can't control what she …
