I meant your case. A modern one. Her name is Pizzey. And the criticism she received (or the insane threats) was not because she opened a men's shelter (I don't think she ever did). She calls feminism a lie, has an anti-feminist website, she believed it would spread "political lesbianism", she claims women perpetrate just as many violent acts as men. You're grossly misrepresenting her case here.

Got any proof for the feminist backlash on the shelter?

I'm asking a legitimate question. All I see here is men complaining that women are not solving their problems and I don't understand why they don't get active themselves.

And so damn toxic. It's not about men's rights at all.

There's no evidence she was lying. And yes, the suggestion to "just end her" is in these very comments. The devil incarnate one is paraphrased.

Also, have they picked you yet?

Show me where I ever did that. Who are "my ilk"? And since when do us adults use arguments that 6 year olds use because they don't know better? QED.
/r/MensRights05/09/22 10:42 PM

No. People suggesting she be killed, named and shamed, put on a sex offender registry, sent to prison, all women are basically the devil incarnate, people like you making up strawmen...

This sub isn't about equality or men's rights, most of the time. It's usually a generalised anti-women rant.

Read the comments, mate. The only women appreciated here are the pick-mes constantly shitting on other women.

Yeah, you're not special. You're just a woman. Just because you support MRA ideas, they won't treat you any better than us haha

I feel sorry for you. Carrying around this much hate must be exhausting.
/r/AntiFeminists28/05/22 12:04 PM

Are you blind? So much hate here. And not just against feminists either. Against women.
/r/AntiFeminists28/05/22 12:03 PM

But society says it's ok for husbands to leave their sick wives?
/r/AntiFeminists28/05/22 12:02 PM
2

That's what I saw. That's what he told me when he cried in my backyard that he'd fucked everything up a year later. But women can never tell the truth, right? That's your standpoint? You have no empathy or differentiation. Just hate. I mean... No surprise in a hate sub.
/r/AntiFeminists28/05/22 12:01 PM

Is this your hypocrisy, then, since you're putting words in my mouth I never said?

Have you ever heard of this concept called "strawman"?

Yeah, no. They're not the same.
/r/AntiFeminists28/05/22 05:43 AM

I'm not a stats machine. You mean the fact that more women divorce their husbands than the other way round? Ever researched the reasons? They're hilarious. And sad.
/r/AntiFeminists28/05/22 05:42 AM
2

Eh. I made the claim, I prove it. That's fine. Not that I expect him to actually read it. But others might.
/r/AntiFeminists27/05/22 11:07 PM

Why was I initially surprised that someone would say something like this. I mean... Look where I am lol
/r/AntiFeminists27/05/22 11:05 PM

A woman is six times more likely to be separated or divorced soon after a diagnosis of cancer or multiple sclerosis than if a man in the relationship is the patient, according to a study that examined the role gender played in so-called "partner abandonment." Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center. "Men Leave: Separation And Divorce Far More Common When The Wife Is The Patient." ScienceDaily. ScienceDaily, 10 November 2009. How do you explain that less women leave their husbands after a cancer diagnosis despite the fact they can't work anymore?
/r/AntiFeminists27/05/22 10:41 PM
5

Some, definitely. Traditional gender roles are a massive problem here. Scientists also suggest that since for most men jobs/providing are more identity-establishing than for most women AND men tend to seek help for mental problems on a much lower rate, many marriages deteriorate to this fact. Only anecdotal evidence, obviously, but this happened to a friend of mine. Both her and her husband were working fulltime and on top of that she managed most chores, childcare and the mental load of it all.…
/r/AntiFeminists27/05/22 10:41 PM

Why do you think that is?
/r/AntiFeminists27/05/22 08:51 PM

I guess this isn't about feminism then, it's about shitty people.
/r/AntiFeminists27/05/22 08:42 PM

Reminds me of the crazy stats of men leaving their female partners very quickly after a cancer diagnosis.

Reading and understanding are evidently two very very different things. Or you're just dishonest and get off of being outraged.

It was basically an equivalent to PUA subs targeted to men.

No.

The inability of this sub to see nuance just so they can be outraged is ridiculous.

The inability of this whole sub to acknowledge nuance just so they can be faux-outraged is ridiculous.

They're not against men having rights. They're against the MRA sub.

You misunderstood what the sub is about.
/r/AntiFeminists20/05/22 09:32 AM

The sub isn't against men having rights, it's specifically against the MRA sub... Which also isn't primarily about men's rights.

Bit late now.

Dude. What are you doing publishing pictures of women who didn't consent to this?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
