I'm really glad you said that, because for some reason I assumed that you prefer phone calls based off of this post.

I agree with all of your points. But (and let me state that I'm no expert/PUA), I prefer AIM/etc. over phone calls if it's an option. I think I'm much more witty/flirty on it. I can personally type almost as fast as I can talk, and I can watch tv or listen to music while I do it which I think is a huge bonus. The thing I hate about phone conversations is if you get distracted, things get awkward. "Uh, who were you talking about?", "Who did what, again?", "Could you repeat that?". I say this a lo…

Some questions: Girls themselves usually go to bars in groups. Isn't it really awkward/terrifying to approach a group of girls solo and try to have a convo with one? How do you do it? I've been itching to do this and asked my female friend what she thought about the idea. She said it'd be pretty creepy for a guy to go to a bar alone. How do you avoid being perceived that way?

Yeah, you should spend more time on reddit.

I don't have a better idea, but I think that's a bad plan. Imagine if it goes horribly wrong. He'd have to hike back with her all the rest of the way.

Damn, that's a good strat. Any other examples?

Although I'm sure he's dying to know who Kyle is (if he doesn't already), I think asking would be a sign of insecurity. If you're really secure and confident, you don't give a crap. He's not a threat, at least not to you :)

What's LMR stand for? Can we put it in the glossary to the right? Also, can we alphabetize those last two entries (AA/FR)?

Well, if you're right, I'm glad I responded by saying: because I really have to go

Hypothetical: What if she said, "I donno..." about hanging out 1-1? In other words, she was nervous about meeting in a 1-1 situation but would be comfortable meeting in a group setting. How do you think you would/should have responded to that?

Ha, actually, I set up a 2nd date with another chick last night. So, it's funny you'd say that...

I think the reason she asked you is because of your earlier comment where you said: Me: Just going to meet a buddy for dinner. Good to meet me at [bar] at 9? I thought you were bringing your friend to the bar with you. In fact, I was surprised when you said it was obviously a 1-1 date. That wasn't obvious to me at all. Small chance, but maybe she canceled for that reason.

Alright, I replied via text. 5 hours have passed and haven't gotten a reply yet. I figure she's not interested. Fortunately, since I woke up, I cared a lot less about it and at this time I don't really care that much at all. On the bright side I hadn't even met her or heard her voice yet. Makes it a lot easier to move on. She did me a slight favor by doing this before the first date instead of after.

OK thanks for the advice. I'm going to text her midday today. I guess I'll say: "Sorry for the late reply. How about 7pm on saturday at the same place?"

Yeah but I thought the bottom axis was about how you feel about her, not how she feels about you? Whatever.

Sounds like a plan. So, are you saying I should kinda leave her hanging for those 24 hours?

TL;DR: She canceled right before the first date. Now what? Honestly looking for advice here. Thanks for the help. And, I genuinely want to date this girl. She seems special.

I feel stupid because I have no idea how to read this graph. Why is the island of awesomeness at the upper left, shouldn't it be at the upper right? What is the love/hate axis about? Is that how you feel about the person you're with? Why are daddy issues low? Shouldn't they be high? I probably feel stupid for good reason :P

I'm suspicious.... She was a HB8 on okcupid She hung out with you after the first convo (it happens, but rarely) She asked questions

Eh, most girls I've met don't like coming up with options and making decisions.

I'm new here. Does anyone have a link to what "the cube" and the "best friends" test is?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
