Those numbers make you a bit better than average. Fuck that, I want to be great. Those are low standards to judge yourself by. You guys are all better than that, and a bunch guys talking about how good and "realistic" a <1000 point total is just as bad as fat chicks saying that being size 10 is small enough.

I think this is even more humorous considering this is an online community that recently made headlines for members arguing about how many days there are in the week.

Louie Simmons of Westside Barbell is a big fan of the Hakagure and other samurai related books and movies. In videos where he is sitting in his office you can usually see a hard copy sitting on his desk.

You mentioned a fat guy managed to get in. How heavy do you think someone can be and still do this? I'm hoping to push 300 over the next 5 years.

I'd invest in liquid chalk. It's <10$ for a tube. It doesn't leave much of a residue on the bar and is easy to hide.

I'm on a team. When we are all done everyone helps return any weights left around, usually because we train until the facility closes. We have found that when some of the girls don't want to pick their shit up, leaving it there and calling them out on it while everyone else is helping tends to do the trick. They don't like being shamed in front of a group.

Do you mix your grip? Use chalk? Have really small hands? It's not normal to be having grip issues at that point. Any hip hinge movement will work your lower back, if it is sore but doesn't hurt you are good.

I wouldn't call all your steps easy, that gives the impression of not having to work to get shit done. I'd say they are simple, because they are hard to mess up if you get off your ass and put the work in.

A good rule of thumb about supplements for raising your testosterone: If it's legal it's going to be expensive and ineffective.

The last thing a beginner who knows nothing about training needs to do is modify a beginners program with extra movements or an accessory day. If you follow SS or SL as programmed until your second squat deload, you won't have developed a misproportionate body. Also, unless you plan to compete, pulling sumo (especially as a beginner) isn't going to help you much. You aren't going to be picking up chicks with your superior adductor strength. Anyone who wants to train is best off following a begin…

You are probably better off finding someone who has accomplished what you want to achieve in terms of your physique and ask them for advice instead of the guys here. Everytime someone posts about training, the comments are filled with broscience debates between 160 lb guys that think 2 months of training has made them an expert.

I know a lot of guys don't care too much about what their legs look like, but what people don't realize is that heavy squatting will put a ton of mass on your abs as well. If you want a six pack, do squats, your abs HAVE to grow in order to support your torso under real heavy loads.
