You don't need anyone to validate your actions. Looks like you're pleased with how things went and you have a plan. What more do you want?

How do you go to a new subreddit and not scroll through the top of all time?

Those few quality women you are referring to gets close to the belief of unicorns. Got to be careful. Remember AWALT

I'm happy for you. Your story is almost to good to be true. I wish you continued success.

Let me modify some of the advice given here. If you want to be something that you are not, then you have to put in the work and change. If you DO give a fuck but don't want to, then I suggest you keep faking it until you make it. This is particularly relevant to MGTOW.

You might be on to something that hadn't occurred me, honestly. I don't think I'm escaping from a shit life rather than I'm too broke to try out other hobbies.

I'm in my 2nd semester of a 2 year degree that will cover both conventional and CNC machining. I'd like to make it a hobby someday whenever the funds are there. However none of current hobbies are related.

You are right. It is boredom. But it's becoming a chronic boredom and it's frustrating. I'm in a spot where I cannot allocate hardly any time or money towards a hobby (full time student working a min. wage pt job on my own). I'm really into my schooling but I get frustrated when it's the only thing I can do.

Thank you, truly. This helped.

Not necessarily depression. I know from my history with that mental illness I don't have a bad case if at all.

I wonder if my "feel-o-meter" is broken. Anyway, to help determine if I'm right?

Depression is likely hitting me. Ever since some life events a couple years back, "normal me" is unfamiliar

Example would be video gaming. I used to pour countless hours into the games I played. Video games aren't bad but poor moderation is. Nowadays, I don't play any video games because I feel like they aren't what I want to be about even though I still really enjoy them.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
