My 2 cents, as someone who could qualify: Identifying with a political or ideological label is often bad and serves to radicalize people in that direction, even in a vacuum of social contact. A bit late to the party, but Australia had a steady upward trend of the consumer price index since the 60s. In the 80s they had around a 7% inflation rate yearly (averaged). They added a VAT of 10% (how the $1K would be funded) in 2000. 2000 had 6% inflation, but after 2001 yearly inflation went down. The 00s had 3-4% inflation. Agreed with /u/OzNimbus. Putting pressure on one school may cause others to fall in line as well. And name and shame seems to be the best way to get what you want in this era. So please let us know, and get your teammates to join in on a title IX complaint. It'd be more challenging to expel every player - it causes eyebrows to go up and would get more media attention, so schools wouldn't be prone to that. In comparison, it's easier to expel one student.

Pretty much my thought. I kinda said that in my second paragraph, and I totally agree. People take it as an insult against them instead of a critique of their belief, and progress can't be made without the wrong side of an argument admitting that they're wrong. Especially if that side has large amounts of political power and more socially accepted viewpoint.

Yuck. As someone who grew up in a shared parenting, divorced household, the idea and supporters of primary custody for women only (and men only) repulse me. I agree. It at least includes men. Besides which, men aren't technically rape victims yet. Though this is an oversight on their part, they are abiding by the definition the FBI set in place. I can't blame them that much. They're an advocacy group, not a social policy group, and I think it's important to them to not state opinions about controversial issue.
