Everyone's entitled to an opinion. Just not everyone knows what an opinion is I guess.

You understand that asserting something as a fact doesn't just make it a fact right?

Seems likely. I'm sure just responding overworked them to the point of seizure.

Imagine doing mental gymnastics to justify inequality while considering yourself a warrior of rights though

As they should have every right to. The issue is they are the only ones with the right to terminate their parental role if they're not ready. Men are denied that choice.

The world is blatantly sexist. We have been programmed from the start to believe we owe women everything, because men are bad. In spite of never having mistreated women, I am born indebted to them, and refusing to fill said debt, makes me a monster. This is programming done from those behind the scenes. Youre programmed to see someone saying youre programmed and instantly disregard them. You notice things like this, because you are waking up. Unfortunately, you are able to see others programming…

I tried to say this in a thread here on domestic violence and got brigaded as a feminist troll

Does it count only for 1 gender?

"9/10 times x" is a phrase commonly used to say "most of the time". Interesting you took it literally even though it was clearly not presented as such. Aren't you supposed to be intelligent?
/r/MensRights03/06/21 03:40 PM

But I never said so what if you are being abused. What's fucked up is lacking the ability to view an opinion you believe contradicts your own without skepticism for your own. How can you grow as an individual?

Why am I a feminist again? And why do you think I don't want equal rights for men? Cause I said dv is worse for women? Bro it's okay to be average intellected most people are. But when you so clearly are, and think you're something more it opens you up to embarrassment like this. Your main "points" are arguments against stances you fabricated for me. Stop doing this to yourself. Go work on your self esteem sissy boy

End of the day genders aren't equal. And both sides suffer the consequences. "I won't argue with a feminist" says all it needs to. Anyone who immediately discounts what someone else has to say is someone with a heavily guarded, fragile ego. The kind of person who thinks he's always right because he blocks out any instance he's wrong. As long as you limit yourself as such, you will stunt mental growth

You're grasping at straws. I'm talking about women who are actually being beaten, thinking they are going to die, and being helpless to prevent it. Why would I be talking about women who are afraid they might get hit but don't? You're unhinged dude
/r/MensRights02/06/21 11:35 PM

No but at least you're capable of separation from the hive mind. I'm literally a men's rights supporter. I am fully aware of the wrongs men suffer. But in 9/10 cases the trauma women suffer from dv, is worse than the trauma suffered by men. To oversimplified, male trauma is essentially "I'm sad >:(". Women's trauma is "I'm not sure if I live tonight and I'm sad >:*("

No, it's not the same. Obviously. That's literally my point. Enough with this philosophical bullshit. Real terror and pain is worse than thinking you might get a false rape allegation. Just stop.

No, actually being over powered by someone with blind fury directed at you is scarier. Someone unhinged who is visibly trying to stop themselves from killing you. That's terror. Cut the bullshit.

So, what you gathered from what I said was that you think I think only gun shot wounds qualify as dv? Gee mister you've really got me cornered with ur insanely superior logical capabilities.

But why are you telling me this? Nothing in my original comment conveys that I disagree with that sentiment tho

There are levels to violence. A slap is a level. A gunshot wound is another. You are naive.

I didn't go anywhere for help, it was a shitty experience. You don't fight back because it's a trap. You record. You report. Fighting back is wrong. 2 wrong no right bad or something.

No. The premise is in its most basic form: "don't 4get the other side struggle: " and you guys are so focused on why dv bad 4 male :( that you 4get other dv bad 2 :( to the point where it almost comes off as ppl saying other side not even that bad :l

The amount of reported cases is a moot point to the argument made, and victim blaming is an irrelevant phrase.

Wow so deep. Here's a thought: if you believe you're right about something, do you still find it necessary to twist the point being made you are arguing against? Try examining that critically. For a critical thinker you seemingly lack the capability your typical third grader has when grasping context. Fear for one's life is clearly an emotional state separate from "fEaR oNeS lIfE will maYbe b RUINED IF they retaliate". And by the way, critically examine the frequency in which either occurs. The …

But why are you arguing this as if it refutes what u said and/or I'm arguing the opposite when neither is the case?
/r/MensRights02/06/21 04:48 AM

That's misleading though because you're basically implying that's how majority of women abusers carry out violence when I can almost assuredly without googling it, tell you that is not the case. Youre using a minority pool of examples as an argument.

Yes men commit less domestic violence. The issue, and please keep in mind is I am a pretty big men's rights advocate, but the difference is the degree of violence, and the actual threat perceived. Domestic violence directed at males is disgustingly portrayed as a joke in media, even today. DV toward women? Chilling, frightening, horrific when portrayed by media. But the issue is that many times and this does not justify it, but many times a male DV victim does not fear for his life. He for the m…
