Hello there, I actually struggle with this same issue quite a bit. Although I haven't been bullied per say, I do have an issue maintaining relationships with women specifically. I don't have any advice on how to fix this issue, however, To keep myself from thinking negative thoughts, I distract myself. It's the only thing that keeps the worry out of my mind and keeps my spirits positive. If my husband doesn't feel like being active on a day where I need it the most, I just get over it and go do …

I often struggle with similar issues regarding my SO and there are a few things I have learned to incorporate into my daily life to help me get through the tough times. My SO also plays video games as his hobby of choice, and when he became unemployed it grew immensely worse. Over a period of time of continuous arguing and resentment starting to form, I decided that if I couldn't make him change certain aspects, I was going to change myself. I started caring for myself more, taking trips or doin…

This is wonderful! And I think you make some good points about being respectful! My husband and I used to play quite a few games together as well but the last 6 months or so it has kind of diminished and I'm looking to bring it back. Do you have any suggestions as to which games were your favorite to play? (Speaking more along the lines of a board game rather than video games)

I enjoy getting new ideas and insights from a large group of people. I think that's one of the best things about reddit.

I'm sorry that this is how that question came across to you, however this is not what I meant at all. I was speaking in regards to having an at home date night and playing a game similar to a couples board game. Having fun and acting giddy with someone you love can spark intimate emotions that sometimes can be hard to express over long periods of time. Thank you for your input I'm glad your happy in how your relationship functions.

My husband and I were going through a similar situation not too long ago. My husband quit his previous job right before the holidays for various reasons (which I fully supported) however, it was the absolute wrong time or year. He is still currently unemployed and I ended up picking up a job working nights. Meanwhile, I recently started my own business online and we have a 1 year old daughter. Since my business revolves around building intimacy between couples, it was just a matter of making tim…

I strongly agree, stop snooping. It feeds on the paranoia whereas if you resist and chose not to look, it forces you to find an alternative way to confront the issue and communicate effectively.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
