Lol I don’t even know how to respond to that.

I’m not saying that women don’t assault men. I have many close male friends that have been assaulted by women. I am disputing your claim that the stats of male on female assault are “surprising similar” to female on male assault, and I don’t think that the link that you initially posted reflected it very well either after they broke it down by offender type. I chose the NCVS for a reason. It is the standard in criminology and considered the most accurate national crime statistics-gathering progr…

Okay. Let me build you a roadmap here. You responded to “how is women not feeling safe being alone at night or taking safety precautions misandry?” with: Because they’re stereotyping men as dangerous predators. And completely counter to the facts— men are far unsafer alone at night than women are. Men are twice as likely to be victims of violence So, I asked who do men feel unsafe from at night? Who are the vast majority of offenders when it comes to this large amount of violence against men? Th…

Such dangerous advice, my dude. Both as a concealed carry and especially in the home. Guns escalate the violence and lethality in just about every situation in which they are present and make you more of a target. EDIT: Fuck it. I’m finally done with this sub. Wish I could say it’s been nice or enlightening, but I’d be lying. Good luck trying to figure out why women don’t like you. Truly a fucking mystery.

Did I miss a shift in conversation between verbal harassment, unsolicited dick pics, and lying? What actions are you referring to when you’re talking about lying?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/06/23 03:43 PM

and women don’t lose that much by not walking in a black neighborhood Not to be nit picky, but it’s actually white people who commit 67.6% of rapes, so it’d actually be white neighborhoods that we’d be theoretically avoiding here.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/06/23 03:35 PM

Well, if we’re gonna change the situation from being raped to getting murdered, then we also have to adjust the statistical risk accordingly.

Did you know that Australia is wider than the moon? Avocados are not actually vegetables (they’re fruits). Shrimps hearts are in their heads. People used to say “prunes” when taking pictures because it was thought to be childish to smile in photographs, and the word “prunes” keeps your mouth taut. Rhydon was the first Pokémon to ever be created. There are 14 different types of twins. Yikes When somebody’s sexual gratification relies on violation and removing the option of consent in an interaction, that is taking the power of choice away from the other party. That is malicious.

I’ve only seen women saying that their current partner has never asked. I think it’s a pretty common question for insecure teenage/early 20s partners across the board.

Men are unsafe at night because of who exactly? Because they could get attacked by women.. or other men?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/06/23 02:13 PM

Cool, now you have a 1 in 4 chance of being murdered, with an additional estimated 63%. Can’t half ass the metaphor.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/06/23 02:01 PM

Men includes black men though.. But whatever point you were trying to prove is dumb anyway. White men commit 67.6% of rapes. Let’s replace “men” with “ginger pirates” while we’re at it because apparently language doesn’t matter or whatever and ginger pirates are what we should really be focusing on.

Rape by strangers is rarer, but rape itself is still common enough for the stranger rape percentage to still be pretty large.

I’ve been on this subs for years. I’ve never seen someone claim to have a spouse with that sort of description enough to be considered a trend. I’d appreciate if you to show me a pattern of women saying this We do get asked about our body count and i have seen comments about being ‘pumped and dumped’, and I have seen women say that are married to strong, confident men (which is a broad, subjective statement).

Here’s a novel though: they want men who can protect them because their customers are grabby assholes who they don’t feel safe around. They also don’t generally go into sex work for things other than money, and like dominate men because they don’t feel like their have control of their lives elsewhere.

I’ve been in feminist activism for 20 years and apart from being chronically online and college educated.. I can’t say that I’ve meet any of these people apart from the rare drunk rando that shows up to a protest and gets kicked out later. I’ve definitely never heard “scrotes” before unless literally talking about your scrotum. The person that you’re describing is a rarity in the real world..

I’m bisexual, so I do have insight into both worlds when it comes to this. My female friends who end up confessing feelings for me always return to close friendships when I express that I’m not interested. I’ve had male friends for 15, 10, 7 years, etc. that have eventually confessed feelings for me and gone no contact when I didn’t reciprocate. It fucking sucks. It makes you question how much of the emotional connection was influenced by attraction on their part, and not because you’re interest…

Maybe there’s been some miscommunication (hopefully). The difference between expectations and being ‘owed something’ was the purpose of my original response. The power imbalance influences the interaction, which influences the tip. When two people meet for a date, they are socially equals. Btw, what movie?

Oh, that’s my bad. I guess I mixed up the context because the OP finished with such a focus on women, so I assumed your “they” were women. Also, I completely agree with your last paragraph
/r/PurplePillDebate16/06/23 01:41 AM

No, your analogy was just bad lol. Of course, people in everyday life are expected to generally uphold a minimum level of respect for other people. You would’ve been better off using one of these examples than a transactional one with a power imbalance.

Your example here is a server.. someone in the service industry. Their job is to be nice and cater to you, whether they like you or not. The fact that you keep using this an example with women and dating is weird as hell.

Aaand here is where we our differing definitions get in the way again. When I say “no kids,” that does not necessarily mean that it’s involuntary. In all of my (again, subjective) experiences, they’ve been childless by choice. Research has shown that women who choose not to have children are generally happier, healthier, less depressed, less anxious, and more satisfied than women with children. Women with infertility issues typically show the reverse. So that argument depends on your interpretat…

That actually has a lot more to do with mental illness than anything else. These women typically come from a background of trauma and the appeal is in connecting with danger but with the safety of knowing that they’ll never be able to actually become a physical threat to them.

older, life-long singles (or divorced a long time ago), reclusive, no kids, living alone with lots of pets. That was the objective definition I gave. The text you quoted are my subjective experiences with them. I was under the impression that we were talking about people with certain personality characteristics, not mental illnesses like paranoid delusions or hoarding disorders. Different ballpark.

Creating a family with the dream that you’ll look around from your deathbed surrounded by people you’ve created with the expectation that they’ll love you unconditionally is fucking weird to me. A lot weirder than living with a cat. Why do people want to die in front an audience?
/r/PurplePillDebate26/05/23 06:45 AM

I was never talking about ladies who happen to own cats. Imo, they don’t even necessarily have to own cats. I guess we’re just working with different understandings of the terms in use. I admit, my views and understanding of the difference between involuntarily celibate, incel, red pill, and black pill might be lacking and outdated/rusty, so I’ll make an effort to put some time aside to develop a better understanding of the differences between them.

Okay, no. My brain absolutely does not jump to black pill when I hear involuntarily celibate. I just think of socially awkward red pilled guys who read about dating strategies and shit. When I think of extreme cat ladies, I think of kinda weird old ladies who sit at home knitting and call the cops over random people parking on their street. When I think of black pill, I think of men who think that rape should be legal. Those two are not comparable.

Those are all of the women I know that are older, life-long singles (or divorced a long time ago), reclusive, no kids, living alone with lots of pets. In neutral terms, is that not what a cat lady looks like? Totally! I included having kids in that because that was something that I was personally under a lot of pressure to do, but is not something I wanted and is a decision that couldn’t be reversed. I prefer just being an auntie to my friends kids and having them over to do arts and crafts and stuff. The real crux of the issue was that when I pictured my ideal life, my partner (or any partner for that matter) was never a feature of it. I don’t even particularly like the concept of marriage (as a per…

100%. I called off an engagement because I realized that was the life other people wanted for me, and not what I actually wanted. Now, I’m building a small cottage just for me and cat because that’s the dream future that I want. The real failure here would’ve been realizing this after I’d gotten married and had kids.

What the love interest looks like isn’t nearly as important as the emotional intimacy. I know women who swoon over arachnid humanoids, gargoyles, krakens, and Minotaurs. And I’ve definitely read some with effeminate men.

Are you talking about the property acts? Correct me if I’m wrong, but that was about allowing women to own and inherent property, but they could still not control or sell that property in most states without the consent of their husbands. It was primarily an act to protect a woman’s inherited assets against their husbands mishandling and debts, rather than allowing them any actual control.

There are some creative liberties you can take if your focus is on targeting the anterior wall, like pillow under her hips, or your hips while on bottom, legs over shoulders, etc. That specific zone is only about 2-3 inches from the vaginal opening, so your length should be fine (if not beneficial in some ways). Everyone is different and people get off in very different ways. A solid 90% of it is purely mental for a lot of people. I have friends who can have orgasms just listening to audio witho…

Nobody is aborting healthy babies that late in their pregnancy. Late term abortions are for fetal anomalies or when it poses a severe risk to the mother’s life.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/05/22 04:45 PM

I think the issue there is that 77% of Christian’s oppose abortion in all forms, while only 5% have adopted. Pro-life rhetoric puts a huge emphasis on adoption, but only a fraction of them put those words into action.

I’ve heard way too many stories from nurses and clinic defenders about pro-life picketers coming in to have an abortion and then go right back to picketing. They actually have special protocols for these patients. I know of one personally. 17% of abortion patients are mainline Protestant, 13% are evangelical Protestant, 24% are catholic, and 8% identified as other. I don’t think people realize just how many women quietly have an abortion and never tell anyone for fear of being judged or ostraciz…

45% of patients getting abortions are married or cohabitating. This absolutely effects women who don’t have casual sex.

Correct, only 55% of patients are single (non-married and not cohabiting - not just single single) and 60% are already mothers who can’t afford to have another. The idea that abortions are just being used mostly by people who are going around having casual sex is just wrong.

Huh? There are tons of biological reasons to have sex during pregnancy. It lowers blood pressure, releases oxytocin (increases your pain tolerance - v important for pregnancy related pains), improves sleep, helps with labor, tones your pelvic floor (which help with both childbirth and recovery), not to mention the oxytocin is very beneficial when hormones are on overdrive like that.
