There are less diagnosed autistic women.

This is just very personal advice as I know neither you nor him or her. In your position, I’d probably try to find your way back to him and see how he reacts to that. If it all goes well, and you two talk it out as calmly and honestly as possible, I’d say see how he continues managing the situation. If she keeps up her position and obsession, he’ll probably let the friendship dry out and leave her behind, as he stated he doesn’t like her that way at all. If they start gravitating towards each ot…

Adding to this: if that is the case, you two can start to try out together if he likes your taste after specific foods. And that could even become part of an erotic act and foreplay, if he starts associating you eating something with you two having great sex later. The “down there” taste is not set in stone at all, and you can have a lot of lighthearted fun tuning it to both if your likings.

I will second the “talking about it fully clothed”. If he can articulate why he doesn’t (want to?) do that, and you can express how important it is for you, you can identify the issues and see if you can find the right middle ground for both of you. And that is especially important if you can see a future with him, because great longterm success is more likely to work out when you establish an environment where you openly talk even about minor things, to find the right way and to always know and…

For myself, I always include possible partners, but I know that many women still don’t. It is so aggravating how often I hear girls and women reject guys for their height. And I just really don’t get it. But I also think (hope?) that this is, even if slowly, changing towards the better.

Yes, this is very important! And toxic masculinity is not “a man not showing hos emotions” but rather the notion that a man that does show them is not manly, which leads to a number of men not sharing their emotions despite wanting and needing to. Edit to add: criticising a man for being “toxicly masculine” when he doesn’t show emotions is the most stupid thing to do! That won’t at all help him feel comfortable to eventually share them. The idea is to call people out that shame men for showing e…

That rings quite true! Though it is not completely clean cut between men and women.. I’ve been struggling a lot to figure out if someone wants to vent or solve the problem, and when I just ask, people often don’t even know it themselfes

What does LARP stand for? Do you mean life action role player, or can it have a different meaning too?

It’s not about the money, watches have style and seem put together. They portray you as mature. I couldn’t care less about how much a guy owns, but wearing a cool watch makes them more attractive usually.

It sadly is true that if someone looks good, they get excused far more. A group of friends I talked to recently even told me they made an experiment about school dress codes (which people claim are in place to not distract others, so you’d think hot people are especially banned from wearing skimpy outfits), and the same outfit was a violation on the big girls participating, but skinny and conventionally hot girls got by with more and more violations. But I must say, only for myself here, I guess…

I guess standing out and being noticed are what worked for you there. People tend to be more attracted to things (humans, food, art,...) they see more often and therefore become familiar with. If you adopted a demeanor that always made people notice you it makes sense to me that you were able to score more often. Sorry I don’t really have a point here, just sharing a thought.

There are plenty of happy autistic people in relationships. Edit: autistics often have special interests and a tendency to hyperfocus on them, and those sometimes niche interests can be very interesting and super attractive to others. Sure, not to everyone, but being autistic does not exclude anyone from dating and relationships.

r/aspiepartners might want to disagree here? Sure there are lonely autistics, but there are also a bunch of autistics in relationships. Edit: spelling

Isn’t falling for someone after you’ve known them for a while completely impossible in this theory? I can only speak for myself here, but I have develloped crushes on people after getting to know them and uncovering amazing personality traits

You are oversimplifying humans here.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
