"Mom tells me to do stuff all the time and threatens me when I don't." That really resonated with me as that was the relationship I had with both parents where violence was the sole answer for not following through with chores. I don't know the real estate market in Brazil, but here in the PNW in the US, a "good/decent" house is 280k-350k. It doesn't seem that a 150% goal is realistic in that context. Is housing that much cheaper in South America?
