2	Who is this imaginary PPD woman? I don't think poli sci is lame, but as someone who hires young people, the major attracts folks who aren't as savvy about the world as they think they are. But that's more about my field than political journalism. The ones who become journalists or lawyers aren't the ones I'm talking about. 2	Who is this imaginary PPD woman? Most people I know who studied art history have a fascinating and unique job in the arts. But then again I live in nyc and went to a decent art school before I was an engineer. The bland as f people who have worthless degrees are cognitive science, psychology, poli sci, IT, economics --- they have middle of the road jobs and fields of interest in the world. 8	Who is this imaginary PPD woman? I understand all of these except the art history degree? I work in STEM and studied engineering but I also went to art school before engineering. In my lived experience, no one I know who who studied art lives in the suburbs and is a mom. Most art history majors are childfree women who live in cities and are single or are queer.
