Amnesty International does some wonderful work on sex trafficking. Highly recommend.

I see you but I feel like the term "paedophilia" is itself pathologizing what really is simply Child Sexual Abuse- the same way white terrorists are pathologized while brown murderers are just called monsters. Treating then like mental patients just humanizes them. I don't see it as a disorder, and I think survivors of CSA get way less understanding from society about their PTSD than pedos do for their "disorder."

Ah yes, the serial killer stare. They're intently focusing on your body language to see how they can best manipulate you.

This is typical of the Kardashians, the Hadids, and so many popular celebs who are so painfully pickmes with low self-esteem. People really don't get that models, etc, are basically treated like sex workers constantly and have terrible personal lives. That's why I don't understand so many young women crying about their looks.

I mean I feel like this post mirrors a mindset from many members who don't want to meet HVM so they won't have to level up to their standards? I'm sorry, Nebsemi, I don't mean to be offensive but it does kinda feel like you want people to validate you having no friends or hobbies or life, really? I'm not a fan of this post, and I would never date a man like that.

I mean yeah that's true but I think the point is that this sub can't take responsibility for low self-esteem of its users, especially if their whole MO is for users to demand better treatment *regardless* of how they look. No one deserves abuse. I can recall a time where I said "who would cheat on Megan Fox??" and was dunked on right away because hotness is no protection from abuse. They were totally right, and it was really difficult for me to accept that men didn't treat me wrong because I was…

Honestly, I applaud you guys for sticking to your boundaries. This is exactly what this sub helped me realize. I recently told a friend I would no longer meet with her if she was in an abusive relationship and she cut me off and told me I was victim blaming (I just expressed a boundary). It wasn't the first time she dumped me either. This forced me to stop getting involved, enabling, or exposing myself to this behavior. I chose to separate myself from another friend also going through domestic v…

Never date in times of transition or instability. Go to therapy and put a one-year no dating rule for yourself. Freshman year was awful. Ambulances were always going around campus for drunk students. None of those men are going to lock it down or be good in bed. Focus on making friends, building a fulfilling social life (apart from drinking), and establishing your 4-year plan for your career (internships, extracurriculars, etc). You'll have a better chance of being confident and meeting a HVM on…

Yeah, and this goes back to a previous post that mentioned that LVM don't have any nuance. It takes a lot of experience to be able to know where that line is, and it's not easy. But it's foolish to follow rules out of context.

I know it's hard, but you have to keep your thoughts to yourself. If you must, you can ask a question here and there. People who do that are not acting rationally. You didn't say, but I hope you have a bigger social circle/ community of people you can rely on. She's shown you her priorities, so make sure you readjust your own.

I have organized large MeetUp groups in the past for HVW. It's a *terrible* place to meet men. Like junk food, the cheapest and most accessible people are not going to be good for you. The more exclusive the community is (not necessarily elitist, mind you) the better. Here's a list of other options that will take more effort than a google search but that will be much better: Geography-based: Country Clubs/ Associations/ Community Organization Events/ Block parties Value-based: Political Groups, …

This is wonderful! I hope that this post doesn't get some girls to stalk their exes to check, though. I'm looking at ya, girls. My best friend feels so smug about her NVX watching all her insta stories, and I just don't get how she's still allowing him access. I believe in "mal de ojo" and don't let negative people have access to me, no matter how superior I feel in comparison. Thankfully I've been blocking exes long before FDS.

Not approved yet, but I've been a user for a while in different accounts. Would it be possible to have an episode discussing the issues WoC face in the dating world?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
