For me it was opposite. I didn't get much from No More Mr Nice guy. First time I was reading it, I stopped after few chapters and couldn't continue, second time I got through it all, but this book is not doing it for me. On the other hand Mark Manson's books Models and The Subtle Art of Not Giving a Fuck were by far the best books I have read on this topic.

What do you mean by boundaries? I think that even alphas have boundaries. Imagine two men in war conflict, one is alpha, other is beta. There is machine gun shooting at them, booth run away from it. How are these men different? Beta ran away, because his fight of flight reflex got triggered. Alpha ran away, because he knew that he can't fight against machine gun and that there is no other way than to seek a cover.
